King Hyun Min-jae stood tall in front of Kunal. Behind Kunal, Aamir and Riya stood silently, watching the tense interaction. To Hyun Min-jae's right stood Ji-won, her eyes filled with anticipation.
The king's cold gaze fixed on the boy before him.

Kunal gave a respectful bow.
"Yes, sir."
Hyun Min-jae narrowed his eyes.

Ji-won opened her mouth to answer for him, but her brother raised a hand to stop her.
"He'll answer himself."
Kunal straightened his back.
"I'm Kunal Singhaniya, sir."
That name hit Hyun Min-jae like a lightning strike.
