Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 Home

A: Sorry, the timer were off for about 20h so here is a bonus chapter to make up for it.

After some time, Ms Mayabi returned to the class and stood on the podium.

"Well, due to some special reasons, our class will be getting a transfer student," Ms. Mayabi said to the students.

"Because they are from another village, everyone should get along well."

"Yes~!" The children answered Ms. Mayabi's words energetically.

"Will it be a girl?"

"It would be nice if it was a boy as handsome as Kadoya." The children below quickly started discussing.

"Kushina, please come in."

"The name sounds quite cute, aren't you curious, Kadoya?" Saiguu quietly asked Kadoya beside her.

"Yes. The name is cute, and the person is probably cute too." Kadoya smiled.

"You know her, Kadoya?" Minato asked.

Kadoya was about to nod, but after suddenly seeing Saiguu's Byakugan activating, he wisely shut his mouth. Sensing the "Evil Woman's Aura" emitting from her.

Kushina was wearing a white ninja outfit today, with black leggings on her lower body. Her long red hair was scattered behind her.

Kushina walked into the classroom nervously. She looked around the classroom, saw Kadoya sitting in his seat, and then smiled.

The classroom quickly erupted in discussion.

"Wow, so cute."

"Look, she has red hair. How strange."

"Really, it's the first time I've seen it."

The classroom instantly became noisy.

Kushina's face suddenly turned red, and she became somewhat incoherent.

"My name is Kushina Uzumaki! I am going to become the first female Hokage!"

Kushina made a strange, trailing sound when she was nervous. Her head got hot, and she didn't know how, but she said she wanted to be a female Hokage. comment

Everyone: "..."

The classroom was like a pot that had exploded.

"She's an outsider and wants to be Hokage."

"That's right, so can I."

"A mere little kid from another village wants to become the most powerful person in our village?"

"Yes, yes."The classroom immediately mocked her.

Kushina's face became redder and redder, like a tomato. She suddenly became silent.

Oh no, I messed up.

Kadoya covered his face. Kushina probably wanted to gain everyone's approval and integrate here.

However, these kids were obviously resistant to an outsider becoming Hokage.

"FuhahahahahahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Much to everyone's surprise, Kadoya began laughing, placing his left hand on his face as his laugh grew louder and crazier, making everyone in the class feel unease.

Minato and Saiguu already knew that according to Kadoya, the Uchiha have a few loose screw. They didn't expect their friend to suddenly lose his now of all time.

Kadoya's laughter came to a stop, and the classroom was now dead silent, all eyes on him.

Kadoya narrowed his gaze toward Kushina. Who was frightened by Kadoya's sudden crazy laugh.

"The Uzumaki, a distant relative of the Senju Clan. Out of all of you fools here, she actually has a chance of becoming Hokage." Kadoya's smirk became twisted, mocking even. As his gaze moved toward the other students who were trying to avoid making eye contact.

His gaze narrowed back to Kushina.

"Kushina, can you prove them wrong? Or are you going to sit there and take their mocking words?"

Kadoya asks with a smile that looks more sinister than anything.

Recognizing him as Tsunade's student, Kushina managed to regain some of her confident as she look at Kadoya with a determine gaze.

"Just you wait, I will prove to you that I have what it takes to become Hokage, Kadoya Senju!"

Kadoya: "..."

Good! Real Good!

I covered for you, Kushina. And you repay me by throwing me under the bus!

"Saiguu punch me." Kadoya said, and his friend didn't hesitate to throw a right hook toward his head. Kadoya's body burst into a flock of white doves that flew out the window.

However, fortunately, the attention of most people in the class had also turned to Kadoya's side, and the hostility towards Kushina Uzumaki by the podium was temporarily dispelled.

"These little devils..." The Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi, standing at the door, gently adjusted the Hokage hat on his head. He glanced again at Kushina Uzumaki standing somewhat at a loss on the podium, smiled, and slowly left.

...

After some time, Minato was able to find and drag Kadoya back to class.

Because of the skill [You're The Light and I'm The Shadow], linking Minato and Kadoya together, the Little Sun was able to locate his friend subconsciously without much effort.

Normally, Minato would need the help from Saiguu to track down Kadoya, but now, thanks to this skill, he actually managed to locate his friend without the help from the Hyuga girl.

When they reached the classroom, Kushina quickly apologized to Kadoya for calling him a Senju. After all, Nawaki has been going on and on about an Evil Uchiha calling himself Kadoya Senju.

She didn't understand much, and even hearing Princess Tsunade and Lady Mito chuckle in amusement, also calling him that.

The young Uzumaki actually thought he was really a Senju.

Kadoya decide to forgive her, since she is new and doesn't know about the running joke of Kadoya being a Senju.

During class breaks, Kadoya started chatting with Minato again, exchanging knowledge learned this week.

"Actually, in this week, Jiraiya-sensei didn't teach me any other five-element ninjutsu except for some training methods and experience."

"He said that the ninjutsu I have mastered is enough for now. However, apart from that, the teacher taught me a super powerful..."

Minato showed a proud smile.

"Don't tell me, let me guess, is it the Summoning Technique?"

"You know so clearly, why are you still asking me?"

Minato's arm suddenly attacked and grabbed Kadoya's neck.

"Hey, be gentle, I'm wrong, Minato. That's a neck, not a stone."

For Jiraiya, aren't the toads of Mount Myōboku the most precious ninjutsu? Kadoya guessed it right away.

Tsunade also said that she would leave the summoning scroll for Kadoya.

Kadoya already has the summoning contract with his Battle Bond: Greninja, so the Slug summoning will most likely become an extra accessory for him to use in combat.

The Summoning Technique is a kind of space-time ninjutsu. So maybe, Tobirama's inspiration for the Flying Raijin came from the Summoning Technique.

This ninjutsu is difficult to define at what level. After all, the size of the summoned creature is also related to the amount of one's own chakra.

The more chakra needed, the higher the level of this ninjutsu.

Just like Minato, who was showing off in front of him.

He said to Kadoya in an excited tone, "I can now summon a super-powerful toad."

"Oh, you can already summon toads? Minato is quite amazing, you didn't summon a tadpole. Do you have enough chakra?" Kadoya asked suspiciously.

"It was indeed a tadpole at the beginning. Although I haven't successfully summoned a toad, I feel that if I exhaust my chakra this time, what I summon will definitely be a toad," Minato said with mysterious confidence.

He couldn't wait to cut his finger with a pencil sharpener, and Minato began to form hand seals under the table. Finally, with a 'poof' sound, a cloud of smoke appeared.

After the smoke cleared, a creature that could not be distinguished as a tadpole or a toad appeared on the table.

The tadpole had already grown legs, but half of its body was still like a tadpole, and there was a long tail behind it. The whole body was only the size of a palm.

"Is this the toad you summoned after exhausting your chakra, Minato?"

No, if I laugh now, Minato will definitely kill me!

"...Hey, Kadoya."

"Wh-what's wrong, Minato?"

Minato, who was facing away from Kadoya, gave off an unusually cordial smile. That kind of smile even made one shudder.

"Seeing this summoning beast, do you have anything you want to say to me?"

"Wh-what should I say?"

Kadoya was perfunctorily dealing with Minato while desperately seeking help from the side—no! Saiguu and Kushina both showed regretful expressions and silently turned their heads away.

In that case, Kadoya could only avoid the tadpole and the small parts, and talk about other features to avoid this disaster.

Now the only thing he could rely on was his own brain!

"R-right! This toad is quite cute, Minato..."

Only after saying it did Kadoya realize his failure.

Kadoya knew...

Minato asked that question because from the beginning, he didn't leave a correct answer that would allow him to live to see the sun tomorrow...

Since I've come this far, at least let me be honest with myself at the last moment!

"Um... I think, Minato, this is not a toad at all. It's a tad—"

"Ah, neck, Minato, be gentle."

Minato looked at his tadpole undoing the Summoning Jutsu and could only smile helplessly.

"...Ahaha, this is bad."

"I discussed it with him for a long time and found many caterpillars for him before he agreed to be my Summoning Beast. Now I have to start all over again."

Kadoya narrowed his gaze toward Saiguu, seeing her talking with Kushina.

"Saiguu, what did Orochimaru teach you?"

"Hmm... let me think. Orochimaru-sama taught me some of his understanding of ninjutsu. Also, the five elements escape technique. And making, identifying, and avoiding common traps."

She said casually before turning back to talk with Kushina, finding the red-haired girl's innocent and somewhat naive personality somewhat enjoyable, finally spending time with someone "normal".

Kadoya simply nodded.

As expected of the "future" Sanin. Kadoya learn chakra control and gambling from Tsunade. Minato learn peeping techniques and toad summoning from Jiraiya. And Saiguu learn ninjutsu and escape techniques from Orochimaru.

This makes Kadoya wonder if he would become Jiraiya's student, besides learning Sage Mode, does the pervy sage have anything more to teach him? Or will he want to learn Kadoya's escape techniques for peeping in the women's bathhouse? And if he became Orochimaru's student wouldn't that just mean his escape techniques would only get stronger?

...

Classes ended, and since they have been training for an entire week already. Kadoya and his friends decide that today would be their day off, so no after school training in Training Ground #7.

Upon arriving at the Uchiha Compound, Kadoya's face darkened upon seeing the Vice-Captain of the Police Force, Fugaku, standing in the entrance waiting for him.

"The Clan Leader wanted to have a word with you." Fugaku said, and without giving Kadoya time to respond, he turned and began heading toward the Center of the Uchiha Compound.

Although Kadoya is a bit stronger now, he still doesn't have a way to counter Genjutsu, plus most of his strength is still only at Genin Level now, so he could only reluctantly follow.

...

It didn't take long for Kadoya to find himself sitting in front of the Uchiha Clan Leader once again.

"So, child, I heard that you have been training under Tsunade. Care to explain?" He said, letting his dark aura, but unlike last time, Kadoya just flinched, not intimidated.

"Clan Leader, please don't be quick to judge. Actually, we didn't get to choose who our teacher was, but in fact, they were the ones who chose us instead. So please understand where I'm coming from here, I couldn't just out right refuse Lady Tsunade, right?"

Kadoya said, acting a bit timid, the old Clan Leader paused, thought about it for a bit before nodding.

"I guess you're right. After all, it's usually the teacher choosing their student, not the other way around." He murmurs to himself, before his glare hardens back on Kadoya.

"I have also been hearing a rumor lately running in the village, it's about a boy named Kadoya Senju. Do you know anything about that?"

Kadoya suddenly wanted to beat up Nawaki. He only jokes about being Kadoya Senju, but the idiot couldn't keep his mouth shut and ran around spreading rumors about him.

"It's just the words that jealous Senju boy, Nawaki. He thinks I'm stealing his place in the Senju. And the name... well, it's a running joke in the Ninja School already, so I guess someone is trying to defame the Uchiha by calling one of their geniuses a Senju."

Listening to Kadoya's carefully manipulated words, the old Clan Leader nodded.

"Indeed, it seems that someone is trying to spread false rumors about you. I'll have the Police Force look into this. You can leave now."

With that, the Old Fox waved Kadoya off, letting him leave without causing any more trouble.

...

Upon arriving home, Kadoya blinked in surprise.

There, sitting at the dining table in a rare moment of peace, was his older sister Natsumi—dressed in casual clothes, her long hair tied back, and a gentle aura surrounding her.

The table was filled with homemade dishes, steam still rising from a few of them. It was clear she'd spent time preparing everything herself.

Her soft black eyes met his, filled with quiet warmth. A small, sincere smile touched her lips.

"Welcome home," she said gently.

Kadoya's expression softened, a rare calm settling over him as he stepped further inside.

"I'm home," he replied, smiling back.
