Still being affected by the effect of The Alter's Ahoge once pluck off, Kadoya Alter coldly writes down the steps for practicing his Hamon-breathing techniques on a scroll.
Although he knew that he shouldn't do this, since the bastard Danzo might try to take it for himself while still calling the Uchiha an Evil Clan.
"Tch! Just thinking about that bastard made me want to snap someone's neck." Kadoya Alter murmurs, the pen in his hand snapped in two before he threw it away. "That damn Danzo..."
Kadoya Alter's thoughts were even more unstable than Kadoya himself. While he was writing his secret technique out for his clan to study and learn, he suddenly thought of that one-eyed bandit, who has a hobby of kidnapping talented children.
That bastard always calls his Uchiha Clan evil, yet he stole their clan's Sharingan and forbidden technique, Izanagi. Then he goes right back to targeting the Uchiha, suppressing the Clan, and pushing the Clan to the point of planning a coup.
"Of all those who have faced me over the years, there's nobody who surpasses you in hypocrisy. I, Kadoya, hereby declare you are the strongest!"
Although he didn't directly say this to Danzo's face, the moment he reached Madara's level of strength, he would most likely storm the Root base, look for Danzo, and say this line right to his face.
His current strength isn't exactly Madara's level yet; someone like Hiruzen could most likely stop him. Unless he pulls a kamikaze on Hiruzen's ass and summon Tiamama in the middle of Konoha, Kadoya isn't sure that with his current strength he could win against the "Strongest Hokage".
Why would Hiruzen want to punish him for storming the Root base?
Well, if someone storms into your boyfriend's home, call him the strongest hypocrite. Would you be able to sit still?
Letting out a long sigh, Kadoya looked down at his scroll. "I need to add some protection to the clan archive. So not just everyone could access the clan's secret techniques."
"Hmmm, the Clan ground also needs protection, I'd better set up some seal too." He murmurs, nodding to himself and giving him a pat on the back for working so hard.
Then he formed hand seals, creating ten Shadow Clones and letting them do the work he set out while the main body crawled into a futon, closed his eyes, and took a nap.
Kadoya's Shadow Clone: "..."
They suddenly have the urge to punch their main body in the face, but since that was also their face, the shadow clones decide to do their task while the main body slacks off again.
...
Time passed, and Kadoya's Shadow Clones handled most of the clan's affairs, silently ensuring the Uchiha Compound's safety.
One afternoon, Kadoya, Nawaki, and Saiguu were summoned to the Hokage's Office.
The three walked down the long corridor of the Hokage Building. When they reached the door, Kadoya raised a hand and knocked.
"Come in," called a calm voice from inside.
They entered to find Hiruzen Sarutobi behind his desk, wearing a composed expression.
"Ah, welcome," the old Hokage said with a warm smile. "No need to be nervous, come closer."
The three approached as Hiruzen slowly stood and looked over them.
"I've been observing your progress at the Academy," he began. "All three of you have shown exceptional growth. After careful consideration, I've decided there's nothing more the Academy can offer you."
He walked over and extended his hand, three freshly prepared Konoha forehead protectors resting in his palm.
"I'm officially granting you early graduation. Congratulations."
Nawaki's face lit up, eyes wide as he held his protector with both hands. "Yes!" he beamed. "Finally!"
Saiguu smiled quietly, her fingers brushing the metal plate. No more wasting time stuck at home doing chores. She could now work, train, and move freely as a real kunoichi.
Kadoya, however, didn't smile.
His gaze lowered to the forehead protector in his hand, sharp black eyes narrowing at the engraved Konoha symbol, and he pushed back the urge to pull out a kunai and cross out the Konoha symbol right here and then.
Seeing the three looking at their forehead protector, Hiruzen chuckle before began to recided the important of the will of fire to them.
Kadoya wasn't a fool; they still have like a few months left before actual graduation. The current Konoha education system isn't like the one during Naruto's time. With the war still going on, the Hokage suddenly decides to pick Team 7 for early graduation while leaving the other teams to finish the remaining months, felt suspicious no matter how you look at it.
"I volunteer to join the Konoha ninja forces, uphold Konoha's program, fulfill my duties as a shinobi, carry out the Hokage's orders, strictly follow the ninja code, remain loyal to the Hokage, fight for the Will of Fire until death, and be ready to sacrifice everything for the Hokage and the people!"
Nawaki declared loudly, his voice full of passion as he clutched the forehead protector tightly to his chest.
Kadoya turn to look at this idiot but he still decide to say nothing, in fact, he didn't want to say anything.
If Kadoya didn't spy on the Konoha higher-ups, he might actually be fooled by this "Strongest Hokage".
His entire team is set out to die!
Kadoya Uchiha, the current Clan Head of the Uzumaki. Once he dies, the position would be sent to Kushina, who is easier to manipulate.
Saiguu Hyuga, a genius of the Hyuga, even with the Caged Bird, the Hyuga elders still couldn't control her, so it's better for her to die early than let her grow stronger.
Nawaki Senju, a Hokage dreamer, better take him out early before he could grow and become Hokage.
No matter how he looks at this. This bastard deserves a good beating!
"Tomorrow, come to the Hokage Office, and I'll assign your first mission," Hiruzen said, his voice gentle as he offered a warm smile. "And most importantly… never forget the Will of Fire. If you truly wish to become great ninja, it's something you must understand."
"Wherever the leaves fly, the fire will continue to burn. That fire will illuminate the village, and from it new trees will grow..."
That was the beginning of what turned into a full hour of Hiruzen droning on about the Will of Fire.
An entire hour.
He lectured them like a retired war veteran turned village poet, making sure to carve his philosophy into their brains whether they liked it or not.
Nawaki, as expected, soaked it all in with bright, starry eyes, nodding along like a true believer.
Saiguu listened politely, though her eyes were already drifting, mind clearly somewhere else. She'd probably remember two lines at best.
Kadoya let the words fly straight into one ear and shoot out the other like a shuriken.
And yet, the bastard just kept going.
Finally, finally, after what felt like a small eternity, Hiruzen finished, looking satisfied, as if he'd passed down sacred wisdom to the next generation of heroes.
"Team 7," he said with a warm grin. "Do you remember what I just said?"
Nawaki was the first to answer, full of enthusiasm. "Of course, Lord Hokage! I will fight for the Will of Fire and I'm ready to sacrifice everything for the Hokage and the people!"
Kadoya barely suppressed the urge to roll his eyes.
Next, Saiguu responded in a calm, composed voice. "I will protect my friends."
Simple. Effective.
Then all eyes turned to Kadoya, who, suspiciously, seemed to be missing his ahoge.
With the straightest face imaginable, Kadoya spoke in a confident, crystal-clear tone:
"Wherever the leaves are flying, the fire is uncontrollable! The fire will burn the whole village and all the trees!"
Hiruzen: "..."
Saiguu: "..."
Nawaki: "...?"
Hiruzen's lips twitched after hearing his words. He stared at Kadoya in disbelief before raising his hand and knocking him lightly on the head. "With that sleepy look of yours, I can tell you weren't paying attention!"
He let out a long sigh and shook his head helplessly. It looked like he still had a long way to go before he could set his friend's son on the "right path."
With that, Kadoya and his friends leave the Hokage Building. He feels like this was a massive waste of time.
His gaze lingered on Nawaki, who was still grinning like an idiot, the idiot didn't even know about the death trap he was being sent into.
He already tried to convince Tsunade to stop her stupid brother, but it seems that either she didn't take what he said seriously, or her idiot brother didn't listen to her.
Upon returning to the Uchiha Compound, he created twenty more Shadow Clones to accelerate the setup protections he had placed on the clan land, while his main body called for a meeting to deliver the new information, and information that Tsukasa returned to him.
After hearing this, some of the clanmen were happy for their Clan Head, but when they heard his conclusion, they too noticed something odd was going on. Kadoya only has a few more months before graduation, so why suddenly make him graduate early?
Then soon their reaction turns into outrage, they now knew about the vision Konoha's founders had when forming the village. Now, the Third Hokage is sending children to war goes directly against the vision of Hashirama and Madara.
In wartime, Genin's mission isn't like those during Naruto's time; Genin's mission now leans more on reconnaissance, information transfer, and supply runs. Still, missions like those needed them to be on the battlefield, basically sending children to war.
"That damn Hiruzen Sarutobi!" Setsuna shouted in rage and hatred, slamming his fist down on the tatami mat below. "When we request to aid them in war, they decline, and now they dare to send children into war!? Does he even have any shame!?"
Although Kadoya was now the Clan Head of both the Uzumaki and Uchiha, if one were to look by age alone, he is still technically a nine-year-old child.
"Forget it, Setsuna." Kadoya said, already knowing that as a ninja, he couldn't refuse the village leader's decision unless he had the power to destroy the entire village.
"I already am well aware of Hiruzen's shamelessness. And from the intel I gather, the village higher-ups might try to stage my death, using the war as an excuse." He continued making the Clanman widen their eyes, and nearly all of them stood up in anger.
But Kadoya quickly shut them down before they could storm the Hokage Building and start a civil war.
Honestly, he didn't mind entering the war, with his ability; unless he was unlucky enough to run into an opponent that could counter him, he had nothing to fear.
"Summoning Jutsu!"
A puff of smoke appeared in front of Kadoya, and an orange cat appeared.
"Kadoya-san, do you need something?" The cat asks, looking around to see the large number of Uchiha looking at her.
"Jiro, from now on, your mission is to transfer information between the Clan and me." Kadoya said, looking down at the summoned cat.
Jiro is a Ninneko, a Ninja Cat that lives in Sora-ku, which has a deep relationship with the Uchiha that has spanned for generations.
As the Clan Head of the Uchiha, Kadoya gains access to the Ninneko summoning contract, and like every naive trainer first time entering the world of Pokémon, he decides that he wants to catch them all.
This also meant that he had access to the summoning contract for Crow and Hawk, too.
"Fumo, you will be the acting Clan Head while I'm gone. If you all receive any information that you deem necessary and important, don't hesitate to summon Jiro and have her transfer the information back to me, got it?"
"Yes, Clan Head Kadoya." Fumo bows respectfully.
"Hey, hey. Being summoned back and forth is really tiring, ya know." The orange cat said only for Kadoya to pull out a large stack of canned food, slamming it on the ground beside him.
"Finish one information transfer and one can of food is your." Kadoya said calmly, he had already let Jiro have a taste of the [Super Delicious Canned Food] he bought from his shop system.
And the cat was immediately captured by the taste and agreed to a summoning contract with him, now seeing that she could get more of that delicious food for basically an easy information transfer job, she didn't hesitate an agree.
"Hey old man, what are you waiting for? Hurry up and sign the contract already!" Jiro shouted at Fumo to hurry up, drool literally running down her mouth, seeing the huge amount of [Super Delicious Canned Food].
Fumo just snorted before signing the contract, and Jiro happily left.
And just as Kadoya had already known, the next day, Team 7's first mission was to deliver supplies for Konoha's frontline in the Land of Rain.
Due to the shortage of shinobi in the village, combined with the high praise from Tsunade and Orochimaru, Kadoya was declared the temporary leader of Team 7, as the three were sent out without a Jonin or Chunin instructor.
The three of them ran side by side, and just as Nawaki was about to make a jump, Saiguu quickly pulled him back before he stepped on an explosive tag.
"Pay attention to your surroundings before you get Kadoya hurt!" She shouted at him, seeing how close Nawaki was to stepping on the hidden wire that would trigger the explosive tags placed underneath it.
If only she had not activated her Byakugan and had not stopped him in time, they all might have exploded by now.
"Hehehe, sorry, sorry. I was just excited." Nawaki laughed awkwardly while scratching the back of his head.
Kadoya: "..."
The butterfly effect caused by him has actually saved Nawaki from his destiny.
But why does she sound more worried about him being hurt than them being killed?
