Standing on the small archipelago black rock I was momentarily stunned as stared at the screens that were soon replaced by a singular smaller one.

Observing the screen it wasn't to hard to figure out that 'Templates' probably represented what tabletop games are available to me in what fashion I wasn't completely sure, but moving on I navigated back to the menu and clicked on the next option [_status_].

That was my only thought seeing how I had no skills,no Weapon Profiencies heck not even the [Resourceful] feat that most humans in DnD get it was like looking at a plane bagel of a class sheet.
'Guess I have to start from square one'
Thinking this I sighed knowing complaining would get me nowhere as I instead moved on to the next option, [_Missions_].
In the [_Missions_] section there were three options, [Quest], [Campaigns] and [One shots].
'Huh?'
Opening the [Quest] I was expecting it to be empty considering I just unlocked the system but much to my shock their was a Quest already running.

And this quest says I have to kill him a being only second to big G himself or else I will recieve a punishment worse than death.
'Lets move on'
Deciding to unpack this worm canning factory worth of problems later I moved on to opening [Campaign] which was luckily empty leaving [One Shot].

'Shadow of war?'
Looking at the description of the [One shot] it didn't take me long to dig up memories of the 8yr old game and to say I was worried would be a understatement.
The games story took place in Tolkiens world of middle earth specifically in mordor where the main character talion a ranger of the blackgate was brutally murdered alongside his family by Uruks, only to be revived by a wraith named Celebrimbor a morally dubious elf King dead set on killing Sauron and replacing him.
The two utilize the Isildur's ring that they then reforged into a new ring of power that granted them the ability to 'Brand' aka enslave the mind of any creature weak enough to fall to it's control.
They then go on to use this ability to turn saurons army against them, fighting, killing and dominating unquie and varied captains of which many hold monkiers like the poisoned, The Amputator or even the glutton.
The Tower though is amongst the worst to face as he usually spawns as a berserker and with his naturally high damage led to my death many times in game.
That same orc is now offering me a training opportunity with tons of rewards, but I couldn't help feel a little neverous accepting, the danger level be damn.
'But what else can I do?'
Looking away from the screen I looked up to the dark sky and then at the surrounding blood lake realizing that where I am might not be much better.
Currently I know nothing about this place and considering my first expirence was waking in a blood lake that is possibly glowing considering their is no moon in the dark sky reflecting light for me to see then I was already leaning towards the [One Shot].
'Fuck it, how bad can it be'
Thinking this I raised my hand to accept the mission unaware that for the next 2 months I will be Cursing myself as I disappeared in a vortex of black smoke.
