Delusional
Episode 10
Mrs. Linda had told Pim not to give a thought to what May said. And she had warned her to avoid getting into trouble with May.
Pim who couldn't believe she is been asked to stay away from her crush.
Mrs. Linda had told her Zoey was to take a glass of milk every night before going to bed. She went into the kitchen to make her a glass of milk.
The kitchen was fabulous and almost looked like a fast food or supermarket. Everything was in order. They were all in bulk. There were about four gas cookers in the kitchen, two ovens, microwave, refrigerator and the whole place was sparkling neat.
Pim opened one of the refrigerators and her eyes shone at what she saw. It was stocked to the projection with different kinds of fruits.
She took out an apple and ate from it. It was so cold and delicious while munching it. Just then, the door opened and one of May's friend walked in.
Oh, my gee!
She look so pretty in person.
Pim hands shook and the apple fell to the floor. It came so shocking to her.
"Hey" she called as she walked in, and Pim quickly picked the apple from the floor but didn't eat it.
'Good… good evening miss" She stammered with a bow, and she chuckled.
She went to one of the refrigerators and brought out a bottle of red wine. Then she opened another refrigerator and brought some ice cubes and an empty glass cup. She kept them on the kitchen table and stood facing Pim.
She was young, very beautiful and stylish too. Her hair was dark and curly and she had an almond eyes.
"What are you doing here?" she asked while pouring out wine from the bottle into the glass.
Pim swallowed nervously.
"She paused and looked around. It seemed she've forgotten what she came here to do.
"I came to get a glass of milk for Uhm… Zoey" she replied and quickly went for an empty glass. Pim took a spoon as well and brought down the tin of milk. She was too nervous and it fell from her hand, but luckily it didn't spill on the floor.
Surprisingly, the lady bent down and picked it up. Whaaat?
"Hey, you don't have to be wriggly around me, ok? I don't eat people" she said with a smiled as ahe returned the tin to Pim.
Pim just stared at her, in awe.
"I'm not May" she further said.
'I've got no issues with males or females, I mean, just as long as you aren't a commoner' she added and winked at Pim, and she manageda edgy smile.
She looked back at her drink and put some ice cubes into the glass. After that, she returned the big bottle into the refrigerator.
"Nighty – night' she whispered and winked at Pim again as she finally left the kitchen with the glass of wine.
Pim made a sigh.
"Wow! That was so close. I can't believe she spoke so nicely to me."
Pim smiled and prepared the glass of milk, after that, she went with it to Zoey's room.
Zoey was watching a movie when Pim went in. She handed it over to her; she collected it and drank from it.
Pim turned off the TV and got ready to fold her to bed when she was done with her milk.
"May is mad at me", Zoey said as she lay on the bed.
"She wouldn't talk to me anymore."
Pim winced and looked at her.
"Why do you say so?" She asked.
" I broke my promise. She made me promise her I'll never have a nanny" Zoey replied.
"Are you serious? You mean, the rumors aren't true? You were really the one sending the nannies away? Not your grandmother But, how come you hsve interest in me?" Pim asked and Zoey smiled.
"I don't know, I guess I just liked you. Please, nanny, can you sing me a song or read me a story" she said and Pim rolled her eyes and nodded.
"Okay then."
Pim paused and cleared her throat, and then she began singing.
Zoey smiled and closed her eyes, Pim continue with the song. Few minutes Zoey was already fast asleep.
She is a quick sleeper.
Pim smiled and covered her well with a duvet and turned off the bright light afterwards, leaving only the sleeping light on, then she left the room.
She got outside, stood staring at May's room which was bordering her. A soft song was playing from there. Could it be May?
Pim drew closer and placed her ear on the door, trying to see if she could hear May doing anything. She smiled as she listened, but she could only hear sound of the music playing.
Oh, May! Pim wonder what she was doing. Could she be sleeping, reading, showering or what?
Pim chuckled and leaned closer to the door.
"And what do you think you're doing?"She heard a familiar voice and quickly turned around to see May standing behind her.
What? She quickly left the door and stuttered for words. "I thought music was playing in the room.
May who is putting on a black trouser and a blue shirt; she didn't have any jewelry on her aside a gold earring. Her lips were looking so attractive and Pim got to know they were to die for. A cool fragrance came from her.
"I …I'm sorry miss, I was just…' Pim stammered and just then, May phone rang, she sighed and picked the call.
"Yes? ... I know. I'll send it right away.' she spoke dazily on the phone and walked into her room.
Pim looked at her as she closed the door and immediately she heaved a big sigh of relief.
"Gosh! I thought she was in already."
Pim looked at the door and thought of drawing near again but she quickly snapped out of the thought and left for her own room.
Pim smiled happily as she lay on her bed. Seeing May gave her so much joy, even though she was mean and cold to her.
She remembered all the time she stared at her. It was so beautiful. That Pim wish she could get to like her.

Pim woke up early the next morning and she is prepared for today, she also have time to dress Zoey up.
She went to her room afterwards and helped her bath and dress up.
Their uniform was a straightly good, tucked in a short flair skirt and a pair of stockings with black sneakers.
She brushed and packed her hair in a ponytail, Zoey looked so sweet.
"Do everyone come down for breakfast?' Pim asked while packing Zoey's hair in front of the mirror.
'Uh...sometimes; not all the time- especially May" she replied and Pim smiled and nodded.
"I wish May would come down today."
"Nanny, will you read me a story today?" Zoey asked after a brief silence and Pim smiled at her.
"Sure. I'll do that on our way to school" she replied and she nodded happily.
They were both done, Pim took her bag and left the room with Zoey, we could go to the dining for breakfast.
When Pim and Zoey got outside her room, they met May standing outside his.
Pim grew in goose bumps immediately.
May was on a call but rounded it up when she saw both Pim and Zoey walking out.
She was putting on a white long sleeve.
And her dark long curly hair flopped across her eyes.
"Good morning, M-M" Zoey greeted immediately she dropped the call.
"Yeah" May replied simply and touch her forehead with her fingers.
"Uhm...g...good morning, miss" Pim greeted nervously with a bow but didn't hear a reply.
"Can I have a word with you, Pimento?" she said and Pin lifted her head to see her walking into her room.
"Oh, Goodness. This is a dream." Pim said looking at Zoey and Zoey also was looking back at Pim.
"Did May just ask to have a word with me in her room?
What could she possibly have in mind?" Pim thought.
