POV: Female Lead ( Ha-neul)
The room felt like a tomb.
Min-jae sat bound to the chair, blood dripping from his temple.
Do-hyun's gun pressed against his head.
Her world narrowed.
"Let him go." Her voice was cold.
Do-hyun smirked. "Or what?"
Jin-ho and his men stormed in, guns raised.
Do-hyun didn't even flinch.
Instead, he pressed the gun harder against Min-jae's temple.
Min-jae winced but didn't break.
His eyes found hers.
Bruised. Swollen.
Yet, when he looked at her—
There was no fear.
Only trust.
That destroyed her.
Do-hyun's voice was smooth. "Drop your weapons, or I blow his brains out."
Silence.
Jin-ho hesitated.
Ha-neul didn't.
She lowered her gun.
Jin-ho's voice was sharp. "Ha-neul, don't—"
She ignored him.
She stepped forward, closer to Do-hyun.
"Do-hyun." Her voice was calm. Too calm.
He chuckled. "Still trying to talk your way out?"
She tilted her head.
"No."
Then—
She moved.
Lightning fast.
She kicked the gun out of his hand.
CRACK!
The gun clattered to the floor.
Do-hyun's eyes widened.
Before he could react—
She punched him.
Hard.
His head snapped back.
Min-jae shoved forward, snapping the rope around his wrists.
Then—
Jin-ho fired.
The bullet grazed Do-hyun's shoulder.
He stumbled.
Guards rushed in.
Gunfire exploded.
Jin-ho's men fought back.
Through the chaos—
Min-jae grabbed her wrist.
"Let's go!"
They ran.
Through the halls. Past fallen guards.
The front door was so close—
Then—
A voice.
"Not so fast."
Do-hyun stood at the entrance.
Bloodied. Furious.
Holding a grenade.
Min-jae's grip tightened on her wrist.
Ha-neul's heart stopped.
Do-hyun smirked.
"If I go down… I'm taking you all with me."
