His fist tightly clenched he tore between two of them halting his movement and abruptly turning launching out several strike reinforced with his domain causing an uneven rhythm of breathing which halted their thinking process giving Asher enough time to weave to their front landing decisive punches to their jaw
While they falling to the ground another one projected himself to Asher in an attempt to successfully achieve a sneak attack, how foolish was the thought
Asher perceived this slightly titled his head, his eyes narrowed revealing an expression woven with shocked, disappointment and wonderment
He opened his palm and received his face like gift before gripping it with his fingers "Honestly I want to know what made you think this would actually work"
Anyone seeing this would think this was an ordinary conversation but the man's face was turning blue his was clawing at Asher's hand in attempt to free himself but all to no avail the more he struggled the more weak he became until the ember of survival and his body was tossed to the side
The skipped across the valley and landed no sound or motion was heard "please tell there is some amongst you guess who can use thy'ril properly" his voice, his posture, his expression all forged monotony
Silence was the only response they could give and it is not that they didn't know how to use it just the just the way Asher uses it is unfamiliar to them
"Alright gentlemen, pay attention this is going your first and final class" a grin so dreadful that it could sent aberrant from rare to legendary be on alert
He lifted his index finger and instantly the assailants immediately leaped backward reason being the air within that vicinity felt cold and Asher nodded in delight with his grin extending from ear to ear "you boys learn fast, good.. Good your masters weren't entirely useless, but..."
He drew a horizontal circle beside his head like a halo but not over his head then there was a thud on the ground as one of the assailant head rolled from his shoulder and this immediately ignited panic in the heart of others but it was already too late
"But you weren't extensively trained enough" those words were the last words they heard torso, heads, limbs, heck some were shredded and all remained was Alex who was hiding behind a large oak tree
His breathing became heavy was it because he was afraid or was it because the air suddenly became thin well it was both actually, the scene was horrific and would anybody nightmare if they were a newbie but for Asher this was a like a regular day well I mean he lived in the forest for only gods know how long
He slowly turned toward the tree Alex was hiding behind ad slowly began to approach his steps were soft but not quiet, Alex had every opportunity to run but his body couldn't respond to his instinct
There different levels to fear, the one that would make you sprint with speeds you didn't even know you had, one that you make you fight with strength and skills you didn't know you had, and in the case of keeping secret yeah those would weaken your resolve and so on but the one that gripped Alex was the one that makes your body refuse survival warnings causing paralysis
"You would have lived a peaceful life, just checking the merchandise at the gate or resolve conflict in the city but you just had to join hands with them and now things have become complicated" these words circled around him his heart palpitating heavily shortening the air that entered his body
Emerging from the tree his gaze cornered Alex which made his shrink in from of him, he lowered his body grabbed him by the face "And just happen to know how to take care of this"
The air swirled around them creating a minor tornado which as quickly it was made was quickly dispersed as the two was no longer there
*************************************************************************************************************
The wheels of carts creaking as they move into the city and the officers going through the motion of checking and evaluation "the day is really slow" one officer complained his lower body leaning on the wall while his upper body on the polearm he carried which was a halberd "why doesn't the night last longer" and this is because during the dark hours all sort of act are committed ranging from drinking down to intimacy both in and out of marriage
"Look this fellas, Jon is feeling lonely" a rather tall shredded officer with rapier strapped to his waist voiced out from the rear "it's seem our brother over is having his genetics run wild while the sun still shines" those ran it course through almost everyone's ear as their gaze was displaced onto the guy who face has already turned red and his head lowered
Some of the officers approached and it wasn't a good experience well embarrassing is the right way to put it but all that halted as the air current got wilder and the pressure increased rapidly
From the summit a cyclone descended and landed with a great amount slamming people into walls, destroying produce both coming in and going out and the dust engulfed the air as the figure of two people but there was no means of identification
The officers on the ground staggered as they try to reorient themselves each of them pulling their weapons but sweat droplet descended their forehead their chest heaving in and out trying to offset the uneven intake and release of air
"Get into formation" a loud command issued causing the officers to snap out of their dazed expression drawing their weapons which consisted of blades mostly like the rapier, saber, blades, swords, and other like fans, short knives and so on
Everyone was in an attacking stance others defensive stance each inching forward to the figures there was a heavy dispersion of wind clearing the dust from their perspective revealing a man in a black long coat, black combat boots, and a black fedora with a white belt
The man before standing before them was just your average male doing light work in the city but the officers couldn't get close and not because there was a barrier it was more of a gut feeling especially those who have gone hunting the presence he gave off was that of something treacherous
The air became heavy to breathing well that is because they didn't even want to breathe attracting unwanted attention but then wasn't what attracted their attention it was the man in his hand which they couldn't make out since his face was covered
"Summon your Commander immediately" the tone dreadful especially when his head lifted and his gaze landed on some of the officers causing them to flinch "I won't repeated myself" each word heavy emitting a domineering pressure upon everyone there.
