Namikaze Minato didn't expect that his own disciple would become his son's team leader. However, as he watched Kakashi from within the confines of the afterlife, he couldn't help but feel that his student had changed significantly over the years. The once sharp, disciplined prodigy of Konoha now appeared sluggish, indifferent—even exhausted. Was it truly just a sign of experience, or was something deeper at play? A creeping thought entered Minato's mind—could Kakashi really have kidney deficiency…?
At this moment, Uzumaki Kushina had no idea what her son, Uzumaki Naruto, had been through. She also didn't know that the real culprit behind her family's destruction was Uchiha Obito. It was only after Minato explained everything that she realized the masked man was not Uchiha Madara.
Kushina, however, refused to dwell on such thoughts for too long. Instead, her attention shifted to Kakashi, who had appeared in the outside world. She couldn't help but smile, a warmth filling her heart as she saw how much he had grown.
"Minato! Can you believe it?! Naruto's teacher is Kakashi! That little brat has grown up so much. It feels like just yesterday that I was watching him train with you, Obito, and Rin."
Minato remained silent, his hands clenched into fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white.
Uchiha Obito… My dear student… One day, I will see you again.
Kushina, lost in her memories, continued speaking excitedly.
"The difference between the Kakashi back then and the Kakashi now is so huge! He was always a little serious, but at least he had energy! Look at him now—he looks so drained!" She suddenly turned to Minato, eyes wide. "Hey, Minato! Do you remember? Obito used to have the biggest crush on Rin! That little fool would always blush whenever he was near her! Hahahahaha!"
Minato gave a weak smile, but the weight of reality crushed his heart. The past, though filled with fond memories, only reminded him of all the things that had been lost.
Kushina's cheerful voice softened. "Minato… I never imagined that out of your three students, only Kakashi would be left. But maybe—just maybe—there's a way for Obito and Rin to come back someday, right? If that day ever comes, imagine how surprised they'll be to see how much Kakashi has grown!"
Minato bit his lip, his entire body trembling. He didn't have the heart to tell her the truth—the horrible, crushing truth of Obito's betrayal.
Uchiha Fugaku, who stood nearby, could see the turmoil within Minato. With a deep sigh, he placed a reassuring hand on his friend's shoulder.
"Minato… Everything will be fine."
Minato could only nod, his mind clouded with grief and frustration.
But before the moment could become too somber, an all-too-familiar voice rang out, shattering the tension.
"Namikaze Da Huang!!! Explain yourself! How do you plan to compensate me for your son taking advantage of mine?! As a father, you need to take responsibility!"
Minato turned his head in complete confusion. "What the hell are you talking about, Uchiha Xiao Hei?!"
"Heh… If Naruto is going to keep developing such dangerous ninjutsu and forcing himself onto my son, then the only way to resolve this is for him to undergo an operation and become a girl! In that case, I might reluctantly agree to this marriage!"
Minato's eye twitched. "What kind of nonsense is that?! If anything, your son should be the one to change into a girl and marry my Naruto!"
"Hah! You think I'd allow that?! Your son is the one causing trouble!"
"No, your son is clearly the one with those indecent eyes! Just look at how he stares at Naruto—he's practically ready to pounce!"
The argument quickly devolved into mindless shouting.
"Namikaze Da Huang!!!"
"Uchiha Xiao Hei!!!"
"Namikaze Da Huang!!!"
"Uchiha Xiao Hei!!!"
Uchiha Mikoto and Kushina exchanged bewildered glances as they watched their husbands yell at each other.
"Kushina… What the hell is wrong with them? And what's with those names?" Mikoto asked in complete disbelief.
Kushina sighed, grabbing her friend's arm. "Don't bother with those two idiots. Let's focus on something important—Sasuke and Naruto's marriage!"
"WHAT?!" Mikoto nearly jumped.
Seeing her friend's reaction, Kushina burst into laughter.
"Hahahahahaha! I'm just messing with you!"
Meanwhile…
Back in the living world, Kakashi was dealing with his own set of headaches.
Bringing his four drunk students to a secluded training ground on the edge of Konoha, he sighed deeply. Originally, he had planned to give them a stern introduction, scare them a little, and then test their abilities with the traditional bell test. This was the method passed down from his own teacher, Minato, and he intended to continue that tradition.
However, reality had other plans.
Instead of nervous, disciplined genin, he was staring at four drunken fools.
Rubbing his temples, Kakashi let out a frustrated sigh.
"Alright… How should I put this? To be honest, my first impression of you all is terrible. Right now, you're just a bunch of annoying little brats."
Before he could say anything else, Naruto snorted, picking his nose lazily before flicking whatever he had found right at Kakashi.
"Tsk… Kidney deficiency man!"
Kakashi's eye twitched violently.
This was going to be a long day.
