The atmosphere in Konoha had completely changed. What should have been a solemn farewell to the late Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, had instead turned into a battlefield. The tension that had been bubbling beneath the surface for years had finally erupted, and now, the entire village was caught in the storm.
The patriarchs of various clans had already grasped the situation, their expressions grim as they realized the full extent of Danzo's ambitions. The words of their children, the recounting of past events, and the undeniable truth of what had transpired over the years had set their hearts ablaze. There was no hesitation—Danzo Shimura and his Root operatives had to be stopped.
Standing at the forefront, Yamanaka Inoichi looked at his daughter Ino with unexpected satisfaction. He hadn't anticipated that she would end up associating with someone like Souta Kazuki, a rising force in Konoha. If Souta truly became the Hokage in the future… wouldn't that mean the Yamanaka clan would be even more prominent? A smirk crept onto his face as he made up his mind.
"The Yamanaka clan! Suppress Danzo's rebellion!" he shouted, his voice ringing through the battlefield.
"The Nara clan! Move in to support! We must eliminate the threat before it spreads!" Nara Shikaku commanded, his mind already calculating a dozen ways to neutralize the Root operatives.
"The Inuzuka clan, follow me! Root is nothing but a pack of cornered dogs!" barked Inuzuka Tsume, her feral grin revealing sharp canines as her clan members and their ninken charged into the fray.
"The Aburame clan will ensure these traitors are eradicated!" added Aburame Shibi, his voice calm but firm as a swarm of kikaichu erupted from his body, preparing to devour their enemies.
Even the Hyuga clan, often reluctant to engage in internal conflicts, had made their decision. Hyuga Hiaashi, eyes burning with determination, led his branch family members into battle. At the same time, his ancestor, Hyuga Tennin, stood tall, his ancient Byakugan piercing through the chaos.
"Hyuga clan, advance! We purge the darkness from Konoha today!"
The Battle Begins
What followed was nothing short of a full-scale war. The Root operatives fought with ruthless precision, each one trained to suppress their emotions and kill without hesitation. Yet, they found themselves at a disadvantage. They were outnumbered, and the collective might of the Konoha clans was overwhelming.
Amidst the chaos, Sarutobi Hiruzen stood frozen, his ghostly form flickering with frustration. He had just been resurrected, and now his funeral had descended into absolute disorder. His body—his former body—was supposed to be buried with dignity, yet now…
"Hey! That ninja! Stay away from my coffin!" he shouted in dismay.
A second later, a stray fire jutsu struck the tombstone he had prepared for himself. It shattered into pieces.
"My tombstone! You bastards, do you know how expensive those are?!"
Before he could finish lamenting, an errant water jutsu landed directly on his coffin.
Boom!
The coffin exploded, and his corpse was sent flying.
"Ahhhhh!!! My coffin!!! My body!!!"
Sarutobi Hiruzen's spirit burned with indignation as he watched his own remains land unceremoniously in a pile of rubble.
The Wrath of Legends—Shimura Danzo's Fate!
Shimura Danzo watched in frustration as his Root operatives faltered, their coordinated strikes crumbling under the overwhelming force of their opponents. His expression darkened with contempt.
"A bunch of trash...!" he muttered, his grip tightening on his cane. "You can't even defeat a group of dead men?!"
The battlefield was chaotic, but Danzo's analytical mind quickly assessed the situation. Souta Kazuki stood in the center, exuding a quiet confidence. Around him, legends of the past—Senju Hashirama, Senju Tobirama, Uchiha Madara, and Uchiha Izuna—stood like an impenetrable wall. Even Hiruzen Sarutobi had joined their ranks, his eyes filled with regret and determination.
Danzo scoffed. "Hmph. A brat and his collection of relics. Troublesome... but not impossible."
Without hesitation, Danzo formed a rapid sequence of seals.
"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"
A howling gust surged forward, tearing through the battlefield with the force of a hurricane. Dust and debris filled the air, obscuring vision.
But in an instant, a figure appeared in front of Souta, blocking the attack effortlessly.
"Wind Release: Vacuum Bullet!"
Boom! The two wind-based techniques collided midair, creating a shockwave that sent weaker combatants tumbling backward.
Souta barely flinched. His father, Haruto, stood before him, eyes sharp and unwavering.
"Souta, stand back! Danzo is strong. I'll handle this."
Souta clenched his fists. Even now, his father doubted him. But before he could respond, the battlefield shifted once more.
Brush! Brush! Brush! Brush!
Four figures landed beside Souta, their presence exuding an overwhelming aura of authority and power. Senju Tobirama, the Second Hokage, fixed Danzo with an ice-cold glare.
"Danzo is my disciple. I will personally deal with this disgrace."
Haruto hesitated, then quickly nodded in respect. "Second Hokage-sama..."
Tobirama dismissed the formality with a wave of his hand. "No need for pleasantries. This is a matter of principle."
Before anyone could react further, Hashirama clapped his hands together, his voice booming with enthusiasm.
"Tobirama! Why not let me handle Danzo? Souta is my disciple, after all. If anyone threatens my student, as his master, I must be the one to put an end to it!"
As if to emphasize his words, Hashirama released a sudden surge of chakra. The air vibrated as a towering pillar of energy shot skyward.
Buzz!
Not one to be outdone, Uchiha Madara smirked and took a step forward. His Sharingan spun dangerously as he cast an appraising look at Danzo.
"Konoha has certainly fallen into interesting times. And you, Shimura Danzo... you dare to scheme against my disciple? Are you eager to dance with death?"
Boom!
Madara unleashed his own chakra, sending a second pillar of energy roaring into the sky, meeting Hashirama's in a violent collision of raw power. The battlefield trembled beneath their might.
In the midst of this standoff, another voice entered the fray.
"Sensei! First Hokage-sama! Uchiha Madara-dono!" Sarutobi Hiruzen stepped forward, his face solemn. "I have turned a blind eye to Danzo's actions for too long. He has corrupted Konoha under my watch. It is only right that I be the one to remove him."
Souta stood still, observing everything with an unreadable expression. He had planned to deal with Danzo himself, using this battle to prove his strength. But now, it seemed as though every legendary figure wanted to stake their claim on his kill.
For a brief moment, he exchanged glances with Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke, who had arrived at his side. A thought crossed his mind—if he told Sasuke the truth about Uchiha Itachi's orders and Danzo's hand in the Uchiha massacre, Sasuke would undoubtedly lunge at Danzo, adding yet another contender to this blood feud.
He sighed. I just hope Danzo's vaults are well-stocked. If this continues, Konoha's economy will take a hit from all the reparation fees.
Turning to the gathering of warriors, Souta spoke up.
"Master, Second and Third Hokage, Madara, Izuna... be careful. Danzo has more than just his own skills. His right arm is covered in Sharingan, and he knows Izanagi. If you let him activate it, he'll just keep reviving himself."
Everyone narrowed their eyes at this revelation. Uchiha Izuna scoffed. "Wasting the power of the Sharingan on such a trick... how disgraceful."
Souta continued. "If possible, restrain him. Uncle Orochimaru would love to study those Sharingan, and who knows? They might have other uses."
Danzo's face contorted with rage. "You dare speak of me as if I'm already defeated?! Insolent brat! I am the shadow that protects Konoha!"
But the gathering storm had already begun. The battlefield was set. And this time, there was nowhere for Danzo to run.
