Souta's gaze locked onto the massive wealth value that shimmered like gold. 1.25 billion ryo. The number itself was staggering, a fortune capable of moving mountains and altering destinies. But he knew all too well how quickly it could dwindle.
Just a short while ago, his balance had been a mere 400 million ryo. The revival of Sarutobi Hiruzen had drained a significant chunk of it. Then, as if fate itself mocked him, the Third Hokage had perished once again under the combined assault of Senju Hashirama, Senju Tobirama, and Uchiha Madara.
Fifty million ryo. That was the cost to bring him back. A necessary expense, though one that stung.
But the funds of root and the other two Elders refilled his coffers.
Souta let out a deep sigh before giving himself a mental shake. It didn't matter. Money was a tool, a means to an end. And now, he had more than enough to push forward.
A wide grin stretched across Souta's face. The wealth was his to command. His mind raced with possibilities. There were still countless powerful figures he could summon, warriors whose names echoed through history.
"Hahahahahahaha... Let's see who I get this time! Time to bring a legend back!"
He channeled 100 million ryo into a Golden Summon—the highest-tier summon that could bring back someone of unimaginable power. A massive golden summoning circle erupted in front of him, glowing with an ethereal light.
The air trembled.
From within the circle, a ball of soul fire emerged, flickering ominously.
All around, the spectators watched with bated breath. Even those who had already been revived by Souta's power found themselves captivated. The sheer miracle of resurrection was a sight they could never grow accustomed to.
Kakashi's single exposed eye widened. He swallowed hard. "Unbelievable… A technique like this… even the Sage of Six Paths couldn't accomplish something so perfect."
Beside him, Asuma took a slow drag from his cigarette, exhaling a thin stream of smoke. "Tch… this is beyond forbidden jutsu. This is godhood."
Naruto, his blue eyes filled with awe, clenched his fists. "This is real summoning! Not like that stupid toad summoning I learned from Ero-Sennin!"
Minato let out a soft chuckle at his son's enthusiasm, while Hashirama scratched the back of his head in confusion. "I don't really get it, but this is amazing! The power to bring back the dead… And it actually works without any backlash?"
Tobirama, ever the skeptic, narrowed his eyes. "No technique is without consequences… but I admit, this is unlike anything I've ever seen."
A sudden shift in the golden circle snapped everyone's attention back to the summoning. The soul fire flickered violently, taking form.
But something was wrong.
Sasuke, who had been watching in eerie silence, took a confident step forward, a smirk creeping onto his face. His hands slid into his pockets as he tilted his chin up at a 45-degree angle. The air around him grew heavy with suppressed emotion.
His voice came out cold, mocking.
"Hahahahahaha… My stupid Onii-chan… We meet again."
He let the words hang, his Sharingan gleaming ominously.
"Endless pain. Endless despair. Just carry it alone, as you always have…" Sasuke's voice dripped with satisfaction. "And those eyes of yours… I won't need them. I don't need the eyes of some so-called close relatives to reach the peak of the Uchiha!"
He threw his arms out wide, his laughter echoing through the clearing.
"I alone will be the one who surpasses all!"
But at that moment—
A voice, one that should not have been there, spoke from within the golden circle.
"I AM THE HOKAGE!"
Sasuke's laughter stopped abruptly.
The air itself seemed to freeze.
A long, heavy silence followed. Then—
"WHAT?!" Sasuke's expression twisted in disbelief. His smirk vanished. His hands dropped from his pockets as he stared at the summoning circle, his eyes wide with shock.
Standing there, instead of Uchiha Itachi, was a man wrapped in bandages, his singular eye filled with confusion and arrogance.
Shimura Danzo.
"Hahahahahaha!" Danzo's laughter rang through the clearing. "I knew it! I couldn't die! How could the likes of you defeat me? I am destined to be Hokage!"
His hands clenched into fists. "That's right… I must have activated Izanagi at the last moment! I knew it! I AM UNSTOPPABLE!"
The stunned silence that followed lasted only a second before it was shattered—
By a single kick.
Souta's foot connected with Danzo's face, sending him flying into a tree with a sickening crunch.
"SHUT UP!" Souta bellowed. "You think you can just show up here and act like you belong? You're not even strong! You wasted my 100 million ryo! Get the hell out of my sight!"
Danzo groaned, trying to push himself up, but the moment he looked up—
A massive, fully-formed Susanoo towered over him.
Fugaku. Madara. Sasuke.
All three Uchiha stood together, their eyes glowing with murderous intent.
Danzo's breath hitched.
Sasuke took a slow step forward, his Mangekyō Sharingan spinning. His voice was soft, yet it carried an unmistakable rage.
"Damn you, Danzo… I'll kill you!"
The tension exploded.
Danzo tried to activate Izanagi, but before he could weave a single hand sign—
BOOM!
A colossal fist from Fugaku's Susanoo slammed down, crushing the ground where Danzo once stood. Dust and debris flew into the air, obscuring the battlefield.
But Sasuke wasn't done.
The younger Uchiha rushed forward, his Chidori crackling with unrestrained fury. Danzo had to die. Again.
This time, permanently.
