Chapter 1: The God of Time
In a great forest where trees seemed to reach the sky, a young boy was fighting a large dog. This dog, however, was not as adorable as one might expect from a pet dog. Not a chance. This dog was around the same size as the boy, approximately 164 cm (5.3), with a strong physique, large and sharp teeth, and flowing saliva from its mouth. It was a fearsome creature.
But despite its frightening appearance, the dog's speed was surprisingly slow. The boy held his ordinary-looking sword, waiting for the right moment to strike. He waited and waited, and when the dog got close enough, he swung his sword vertically to attempt to slice it in half.
Cling
The boy's sword rebounded on the hit, knocking him off balance. The dog took advantage of the opportunity and headbutted him, sending him flying through the air. The boy crashed down to earth with a thud.
"Incapable of slaying a level 4 creature," a voice said in the boy's ear with annoyance. The boy recognized the voice as belonging to his companion, a man who had been accompanying him on this hunt.
The sound of the wind bending beneath the person's speed followed before the dog slammed into a tree and died immediately.
"Let us go back to the mansion, young sir," the man said in a nasty tone. "It's pointless to stay here when you can't even face one of the world's weakest beasts."
The boy, whose name was Krono Laborde, slowly got up, his black hair falling in front of his lifeless blue eyes. "Y-yes. Let's head home," he said in hushed tones.
"Tch," the man clicked his tongue in irritation.
They travelled for around five minutes to the nearest city before entering the teleportation gate ahead of them. They emerged in another city, with a massive-looking palace at the far end. Krono was the lord's son, making him the young lord of the palace.
During their brief journey, Krono couldn't help but examine his status:

Krono cursed himself as he saw his status. People his age were on a higher level than him, indicating that they had some promise. In contrast to them, Krono was the weakest human being that humanity has ever known since the dawn of time. He couldn't even take care of a simple monster.
Krono's family, the Laborde family, was well-known around the world for their incredible strength. They were high-ranking officials with considerable authority, and each received a blessing demonstrating their potential. Krono's parents had even given birth to his brother, Jil, who had developed the Animancy attribute, showing how strong he could become in the future. Jil had also received a blessing from a great being, making the Laborde family's reputation skyrocket.
But when Krono was born, his parents almost disowned him when they found out he didn't have any attributes. Even his brother, who had been kind to him, slowly turned cold, treating him as nothing more than air. Even the house staff began to undermine his power by refusing to feed him, badmouthing him, or even injuring him before healing him so that no one would know what had happened.
Krono's worth was negligible to them; whether he lived or died didn't matter, and his existence was more of a loss than a gain. His feeble physical abilities were evidence of his inferiority. He couldn't even handle a simple monster, perhaps because of his slender build or, as his parents had stated, his lack of skill. In all probability, he was the weakest human that ever existed since the beginning of time. When they arrived at the mansion, the man went to report to the head of the household, leaving Krono to fend for himself. Thus, Krono was left standing alone in front of the gate, unnoticed and ignored by everyone. Instead of heading towards the mansion, he sprinted in the opposite direction, running as fast as he could to the far end of the city where he lived. His eyes welled up with tears, and he bit his lips so hard that he tasted iron, finding both solace and bitterness in his escape. He refused to stop, despite the pain.
As Krono walked down the street, he tried to avoid bumping into people. "I'm so tired of it all," he thought to himself. "What's the point of living if I can't even stand up for myself? My family sees me as worthless and insignificant. If everyone is going to treat me this way, what's the purpose of even being alive?" Krono had hoped that with time, he would grow stronger, things would look brighter, and he would have an important role in life. But it never happened. Instead, he became a laughing stock, a nobody that people could step on without a second thought. It didn't matter whether he was at home or school, he felt powerless and defeated. "What's the point of living if I can't even fight back?" As he was lost in his thoughts, he suddenly felt something cold enter his shoes, soaking his socks with seawater.
The city where Krono lived was surrounded by the sea, making it a popular tourist destination and strategically defensible. But as he waded into the water, his thoughts turned dark. "What's the point of living like this?" he murmured to himself. "No one even wished me a happy birthday." The water rose to his knees, then his neck. "I'm so forgettable," he said. "They wouldn't even know if I died today." With a heavy heart, he let himself sink beneath the surface. Though some people on the beach noticed him, they assumed he was just going for a swim before sunset and didn't pay much attention. They didn't see when Krono submerged his head and began to breathe in the water. He had lost his will to live, feeling that his hard work and intelligence were meaningless without power. As he slowly drowned, his anger grew, especially toward himself for being weak and insignificant. But just as he was about to die, something remarkable happened. Krono began to glow a dark blue colour, and the glow spread across the sky, forming a massive, translucent clock. People on the beach were afraid, while those in the nearby mansion looked on in awe. Krono's brother, Jil, had just returned from a hunting trip and wondered if someone had received a blessing. When someone is blessed, a phenomenon often occurs, indicating the nature of the blessing. In this case, the clock symbolized a god's blessing. The clock's pendulums suddenly shifted back by a minute, causing a shockwave that reverberated through time. Krono and everyone around him were caught in the blast and went back a minute in time. He was bewildered but grateful to be alive. A message appeared before him: "[Congratulations! You have been blessed by the God of Time.]"

Holy crap! I found it, a 6-leaf clover!
The exclamation reverberated through the mind of a 16-year-old boy, his eyes beaming with satisfaction. "To think that I spent all my savings on finding a six-leaf clover," he mused.
In just three days, this boy would meet his end. Born terminally ill, his journey to this moment began with a wish granted by the foundation that allowed him to traverse the world in search of a desired item. They provided him with generous funds, perhaps underestimating his determination to spend every last bit before his inevitable demise. The foundation likely believed he wouldn't deplete the funds before the end.
Yet, contrary to expectations, he scoured half the planet to find that elusive six-leaf clover. Why, you ask? It all started with an anime: Black Clover. He hadn't delved into the manga, but he'd watched the series two, maybe three times. The exact count didn't matter because he found it—the chance to transmigrate.
*Flashback*
[Mc's POV]
Sitting on my bed, I stare ahead of me, a holographic-like screen floating in front. Strange words adorned it—a bizarre occurrence that began after I finished watching that anime. Now, it was asking me if I wanted another chance at life.
"[Do you want another chance at life?]"
I've read a lot of novels and fanfictions to pass the time, so I know how to answer without a hint of hesitation: "Yes." I mean, I will die soon, so why not live again?
"[You have been granted one wish. What is your wish?]"
I don't know where I will have my new life. Maybe it could be on Earth again; perhaps my body will heal for the new life. Or maybe I will go to Marvel or DC. Seeing how random the world could be, I have to wish for something powerful that will not leave me feeling unsafe. In Marvel, there are reality warpers, cosmic gods, and whatnot. As for DC, there is a box that can literally warp reality. So, to be safe, I will combine the two.
"I wish to be the God of Reality." With this wish, I will be a God and can warp reality too. Plus, my reality-warping level would definitely be higher than that of mutants.
"[You will be transmigrated to the world of Black Clover.]"
The announcement reverberated in his mind, an unexpected turn in the narrative of his existence. A wave of concern swept over him. "Wait, wouldn't I be super overpowered? The readers might get bored quickly."
"[To complete the process, please acquire a 6-leaf clover before your death.]"
"WHAT!? ISN'T THAT LIKE IMPOSSIBLE?"
"[Rest assured, you have an adequate amount of time, and it has been confirmed that there is one 6-leaf clover on this planet.]"
"But I don't have any means of transport, nor the money to do so, and-"
"It's time to make a wish to the Wish Foundation." Though interrupted from his thoughts, he couldn't be happier.
*Flashback End*
"[Task successfully completed, now exchanging... exchange complete, prepare yourself.]"
"What do you mean, prepare myself? Can I take things with m-" Before he could finish his words, he was suddenly whisked away by a massive truck. How the truck got there, we would never know.
Another Fanfic I have been working on as well, a little sneak peak, this one is epic when i finish it.

If I had to choose, I always considered myself more Prideful than anything else. But who would have thought my Pride would be the death of me? Well, I did.
I was walking home peacefully from work when I was suddenly stopped in my tracks. Two in front, two behind—an ambush. There was no escape. They demanded my belongings, and I felt a pang of pity for them—four thugs, clearly less fortunate than me. I handed over what I could. But then they asked for the clothes on my back.
As a person—no, as a man—you can't let anyone take advantage of you, if a nigga takes a piss on your shoes, you pop the son of a bitch in the head right there and then, so these motherfuckers asking me to strip, that's where we had a problem.
I tried to reason with them, explaining that I wouldn't do something so humiliating. But they didn't care. They pulled out knives. This is England, so I put up my fists, ready for the fight of my life.
Obviously, I didn't come out on top. I died. But I felt good knowing I had stood up for myself. I defended my pride.
"That was quite the story," a voice boomed, illuminating the darkness around me.
"Uh, thank you?" I replied, unsure how to respond. I couldn't see who was speaking, but their voice alone had lit up this dark void. They were clearly powerful.
"Stop looking around. You won't find me, even if I were standing right in front of you." The voice was definitely from a higher being.
"Yes, that's correct. I am a higher being, and I handle death—though only temporarily. My jurisdiction is actually the sun and concepts surrounding the sun and light itself. So, this is a rather gloomy environment for me. Ah, listen to me, just yapping away." The being's tone was friendly, almost disarmingly so. I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that I'd encountered this higher being and not the original one for this position.
"Oh, really? Complimenting me won't get you anything, you know," the being teased, then added, "but don't stop." The way they said it reminded me of Tony Tony Chopper from One Piece—endearing, almost shy.
"In your memory, I see you hold that raccoon in high regard," the being continued, amused. "But even if you meant it as a compliment, it doesn't quite pass as one. Still, I'll forgive you. Now, back to business. What would you like to do now that you're dead? You can go to Heaven, Hell, reincarnate, or even transmigrate. The choice is yours."
This was unexpected. What had I done to deserve such an offer? Or does everyone get this opportunity? I wondered, isn't the concept of the sun also tied to destruction and death, as much as it is to life?
"Is that really what you're thinking about?" The higher being's voice held a mix of amusement—maybe even shock? It was hard to tell. But one thing was clear: they were right. What was I doing? I had such wonderful options before me. Though, honestly, I couldn't imagine why anyone would choose Hell. No one in their right mind would pick that.
"I see you've made your choice!" The being sounded almost joyous, as if they were finally wrapping up their job. "I thought you were sane, but picking Hell—wow!" The being was way too happy about this.
"Wait, WHAT? NO, NO, NO! That is NOT my choice! Oi, bruv, that's not what I want! I want to be reincarnated! Or transmigrated! Please, PLEASE don't send me to Hell!"
I begged with every ounce of energy I had. Who in their right mind would want to go to Hell? Not me! I've been a good guy, a law-abiding citizen. I watch anime, movies, read manga and novels—I haven't done anything bad enough to deserve Hell! So why the hell would I be sent there?
"ENOUGH!" The space around me suddenly brightened, blindingly so. A wave of something powerful washed over me, silencing me instantly. "Jeez, people can't take a joke nowadays," the being muttered. I felt the hold on me loosen, and I could speak again.
"I want to transmigrate," I blurted out, my voice trembling. "This is my life we're talking about, kind being. Please, jokes like that would kill me if I were still alive." The fear in my voice was unmistakable.
"Alright, alright, you make a fair point. Transmigration it is," the being said, a hint of amusement in their voice. "You'll be heading to the Infinity Perverse Marvel. Now, before you ask, that basically means there's an infinite amount of omniverses and whatnot. You're just going to one of them—specifically, a planet in the Marvel universe." The being's tone was matter-of-fact, as if this was just another day at the office.
I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. Sure, Marvel is a terrifying place—really terrifying—but I'd already died once. And while that was still scary, it had made me realize just how pointless my life had been. I hadn't done anything worth mentioning. This was my chance to live out those scenarios I'd imagined, to finally finish the drafts of the novels I'd never completed. But… "Do I get anything that'll help me survive more than a day?"
"Hahaha! That was a good one. I like you; making me laugh is always appreciated." The being chuckled, but after a few moments—or whatever passes for time here—they continued. "What do you want to do in the Marvel world? What's your purpose?" The cheerful atmosphere evaporated, replaced by a sudden, tense seriousness.
The switch in tone caught me off guard, freezing me in place. My thoughts raced, and a sense of dread began to creep in. This was more than just a game; this was real. The weight of the decision hit me like a punch to the gut. I was about to step into a world full of gods, monsters, and cosmic horrors. What could I possibly do in a place like that?
I started to really think. What would I do in the Marvel universe? What interests me the most? The vastness of the Marvel multiverse—no, omniverse—loomed over me, filled with endless possibilities and dangers. This was a chance to live with purpose, to make a difference, but I had to choose wisely.

"I remember watching and loving how people could awaken special powers, how they were seen as the next step in human evolution. I always loved that idea. I watched every movie about them over and over. I was never much of a comic fan—I didn't know how to read them in order, and they cost money—so I stuck to the movies. There was always something that made me wish I was there, and that was the desire to show them the way, to fight for mutant rights. I want them to take their rightful place, not to cower in fear or pander to humans who won't let them live in peace. I've seen and heard a lot—different paths to glory and coexistence—and they never end well. But a world with mutants alone? That's a utopia. The choice is very clear."
I spoke with conviction, finding my purpose, my reason for this new world. The fanfictions I've read about people becoming mutants always fall short—they don't actually help the mutants. Instead, they just talk nonsense about changing the name 'mutant' to 'meta-human' or 'X-Force' or some crap, without actually taking any real action. They remove themselves from the struggles of mutants, and I hated seeing it. Now that I have the chance, I want to do something. I want to help.
"Hehehe, those are some grand ambitions, but you know what they say—be careful what you wish for. Watching and living are two different things, but it sounds very interesting." The being kept chuckling, as if it had found a new toy. It was nerve-racking. I felt a wave of fear and dread wash over me. Could I really do anything to help them? What if I'm captured and tortured? What if I can't do it? What if I die before I can make a difference? I don't even know the first steps toward making real change...
The reality of what I was committing to started to sink in, gnawing at the edges of my excitement. All those movies I'd watched, the stories I'd loved—they were just that, stories. In real life, there are no do-overs, no scripts to guide you through the chaos. People suffer, they bleed, they die—often for nothing. Was I really ready for that?
My mind spiralled further into doubt. I imagined myself in the middle of a battle, facing off against mutants and humans alike, both sides capable of incredible violence. I could see it clearly—being captured, tortured for information, or worse, killed before I could make any impact at all. My stomach churned. What if I wasn't strong enough? What if I failed, and my actions only made things worse for the very people I wanted to help?
I looked up into the bright void, seeking some kind of reassurance, but all I found was more uncertainty. The void didn't care. The universe didn't care. Who was I, really, to think I could change anything?
But then, somewhere in that overwhelming haze of fear and doubt, a small voice whispered back. I won't give up. I can't—not without trying at least. My pride won't let me. It wasn't loud, and it wasn't entirely convincing, but it was something. A lifeline.
Still, the fear lingered. It would always linger. But I realized that maybe that was the point—courage isn't the absence of fear, it's acting in spite of it. Could I be brave enough to do that? I didn't know. But I was willing to try. And that had to be enough.
"Fine, I like you!" the being declared, interrupting my thoughts. "So I'll imbue my powers into you as my avatar. Don't worry, you owe me nothing. After all, you're not actually my avatar—just a mutant whose gene has powers similar to mine. Who knows? You might even surpass me one day."
I was stunned. This was more than I had ever hoped for, but it also added another layer of pressure. The weight of what was to come pressed down on me, making it hard to breathe. I wanted to respond, to thank it, to ask a thousand questions, but before I could, everything went dark.
