Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

The music pounded through the speakers, a bass that vibrated through the floor and rattled the walls. People were scattered around Yujin's apartment, laughing, shouting over the music, and drinking as if there's no tommorow,

Ju-woon could feel the alcohol buzzing through him in a way that felt strangely liberating. The night was blurry and confusing but he was enjoying it more than he expected

He wasn't much of a party person, but tonight, with the weight of the last few weeks, he found himself caught up in the chaos. The people around him were loud, carefree, but honestly he didn't mind.

He grabbed another drink from a passing tray, not caring what it was. He wasn't trying to get drunk, but that didn't work out

His mind wandered for a second, recalling a brief moment earlier when Hyeon had mentioned something about Min-ho being at the party. The idea of Min-ho being here should have felt normal, considering everything that had happened between them, but it didnt, it felt unusual. He'd seen Min-ho's name in messages, heard it murmured around the party, but so far, they hadn't seen each other

And, honestly, Ju-woon didn't even really want to

He was spinning around in a circle, laughing along with a group of people when his phone buzzed in his pocket. Hyeon's message popped up: "Where are you donkey"

Ju-woon quickly typed a reply, slipping the phone back into his pocket. He was enjoying the moment not even really caring what's happening.

Meanwhile, across the room, Min-ho leaned against the edge of the kitchen counter, sipping his beer. His friends surrounded him, but his mind wasn't really on the conversation. He knew Ju-woon was at the party hyeon had told him. But despite his usual carefree attitude, he found himself keeping an eye out for the other more out of curiosity than anything else.

The alcohol was strong but it wasn't enough to erase the nagging thought that kept tugging at him. He hadn't been able to stop thinking about Ju-woon since their last interaction. It wasn't anything serious, just a few exchanged glances and some weird tension. But tonight, in the haze of flashing lights and the buzz of alcohol, it felt different then usual

Suddenly, Ju-woon stumbled into the kitchen, his face flushed, eyes slightly glazed but still amused. He was talking with someone, a guy he vaguely recognized, and they were both laughing about something. Min-ho's gaze shifted immediately. Even in the noise and the crowd, Ju-woon stood out.

And then, it happened.

Ju-woon turned, looking back over his shoulder as he tried to push his way through the group of people. He didn't see Min-ho standing there. His shoulder brushed against Min-ho's, sending shivers down his spine. Their eyes met almost immediately, like some invisible force pulling them together, and for a second, everything around them seemed to blur.

"Min-ho," Ju-woon mumbled, his voice thick with alcohol. He felt oddly light-headed, but he couldn't help the grin that tugged at his lips. "Didn't see you there."

Min-ho raised an eyebrow, a slow smile curling up the corner of his mouth. "I was trying not to be seen." His voice was low, teasing, a smirk in his eyes as he leaned in closer.

Ju-woon laughed, though it felt a little breathless. "Trying not to be seen? In this crowd?" He gestured vaguely to the madness around them.

"Fair point," Min-ho said with a shrug, eyes never leaving Ju-woon's. "But you know, it's hard to stand out when you don't try."

Even though the conversation felt casual it wasnt

This conversation would be normal for most people, but not them. Ju-won barely even recognized Min-ho but his heart still beat for some odd specific reason.

meh, probably the alcohol he did drink a lot so it would make sense

right?

Min-ho's gaze was heavier than usual, like he was paying more attention than he had any right to. Ju-woon didn't back away, though. He felt the same pull, the same ridiculous energy that made him keep his ground.

They were standing closer than before now, just a few inches apart, the noise of the party melting away in the distance.

"I don't know," Ju-woon said with a sly smile, his voice quieter now, almost in a whisper. "Maybe you do stand out."

Min-ho's grin widened, the playful arrogance creeping in. "Maybe. But what if I told you I wanted to stand out even more?"

Before Ju-woon could respond, Min-ho's raised his hand and grabbied his wrist and tugging him toward the hallway, away from the crowd. The move was fast, and sudden and just a little bit forceful nothing special, but enough to make Ju-woon's heart skip.

"Hey what's the rush?" Ju-woon laughed, the sound nervous but excited.

at this point you could tell both where drunk, both acting different with each other for some reason.

Min-ho didn't answer. Instead, he kept walking, pulling Ju-woon along as the hallway loomed ahead. The door to one of the rooms was wide open, and Min-ho led him inside, the sounds of the party dimming as they entered the space.

The moment they were inside, Min-ho spun Ju-woon around and pinned him against the wall with a suddenness that made Ju-woon gasp. His breath stopped as Min-ho leaned close, their faces inches apart. Min-ho's hand was still on his wrist, holding him in place, suddenly his hand slides up and interlocked fingers with ju-woon while the other rested lightly against the wall beside Ju-woon's head.

Ju-woon's pulse quickened, his body tense against the wall. He didn't know what to make of this moment. His mind was foggy with the alcohol, but something in Min-ho's eyes made him shiver.

"You're coming home with me," Min-ho said, his voice low and hushed,

almost like a command. But there was something else to it too, something more suggestive, a challenge, an invitation?

who knew. this guy is weird..

Ju-woon blinked, his heart hammering in his chest. "What?" His voice cracked a little.

Min-ho leaned in closer, his lips brushing against Ju-woon's ear as he whispered, "You heard me. I think we both know what I mean."

The words sent a rush of heat through Ju-woon's body. The weight of the moment settled between them like a pressure, thick and undeniable.

Ju-woon swallowed hard, trying to steady his racing thoughts. Was this really happening?

Min-ho pulled back just enough to look him in the eyes again, the smirk still playing on his lips, but there was something more serious there now, something like anticipation.

"Are you coming?" he asked, voice dangerously soft.

Ju-woon opened his mouth to speak, but the words suddenly got stuck in his throat. The party seemed a lifetime away, and in that moment, it was just the two of them. Everything else faded.

Maybe he didn't have an answer yet. Maybe he wasn't sure what was happening.

But right then, he didn't need to be sure.

He nodded.

And Min-ho smiled like he'd won the game.
