While Ash, Kenta, and Madoka waited within the WBBA headquarters, the rush of his tournament win was still fresh. Still pumped from the battles, Ash spun Storm Greninja around in his hand.
"So, what happens now?" Ash leaned forward with anticipation to ask. "More battles? "
Kenta chuckled. "You never tire, do you?"
Madoka smiled. "If you really want to become stronger, you should consider joining a team, but there is always another tournament."
Ash blinked. "A team?"
Kenta nodded. "Yes! Blading takes more than individual power. Teamwork can sometimes save the day. Gingka has been on so many teams in the past, and each of those teams has contributed significantly to his strength."
Ash grinned. "That's great! Come on, let's do it!"
Madoka raised an eyebrow. "Like that?"
Ash shrugged. "Why not? Madoka, you know a lot about Beyblades, and Kenta, you're a great Blader! We can help each other get stronger if we team up!"
Kenta's eyes sparkled. "You think I'm strong?"
"Of course! Your attacks are strong, and you have great control over Sagittario!"
Madoka tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Well, it does sound like fun to be on a team. Plus, I could handle the technical side of things, making sure our Beyblades are in top shape."
Ash pumped his fist in excitement. "Then it's settled! We are now officially a team!"
Kenta grinned. "Okay! But if we're a team, we need a name."
Ash thought for a moment. "Well, how about Team Rising Storm?"
Kenta nodded. "I like it! It's a good fit."
Ash grinned. "That sounds amazing! Let's do it!"
Madoka smiled. "Okay, it's Team Rising Storm!"
Teamwork in Action
Challenging training sessions filled the next few days. Madoka helped Ash and Kenta refine their Beyblades, and they fought constantly, refining their strategies.
Their Beyblades slammed against each other in a whirl of activity at one training session as Ash shot out Storm Greninja at Sagittario.
"Aqua Dash, Greninja!" Ash screamed.
Sagittario's attacks were narrowly evaded as his Beyblade zigzagged around the stadium.
Kenta clamped his jaw shut. "I'm not going to give you an easy win! Claw Strike , Sagittario!"
Sagittario burst forth, slamming into Storm Greninja with incredible impact. As his Bey wavered from the impact, Ash gasped.
"Great work, Kenta!" Madoka cheered on the sidelines.
Ash grinned. "Not bad, but we have more work to do! Leap and strike from above, Storm Greninja!"
Sagittario lost his balance as his Beyblade flew into the air and then dove downward with a firm spin.
Kenta gasped. "Not at all!"
Madoka watched closely. "Ash, that was a smart one. You countered Kenta with his own weapon.".
Ash smiled. "I assume learning from each other is part of working as a team?"
Kenta smiled. "Yes, I guess so."
Facing a New Challenge
They had only just completed their training when they were called out by a loud voice from behind them.
"Well, well, well. Look what we have."
A number of Bladers were waiting at the entrance to the training grounds when the three of them were facing the other way. A very tall man with a confident smile was in the front.
He stood with his arms crossed and said, "I heard you started a team." "But do you really think you can take on the top ones?"
Ash frowned. "And who should you be?"
The Blader chuckled. "This tournament circuit is run by my team, Shadow Fangs, and Name's Takeda. If you want to test your skill, you have to come through us."
Ash smiled. "That's a challenge."
Takeda smiled. "I'm certain it is. If you're not scared, I'll catch you at the next tournament."
Ash could feel the adrenaline coursing through him as he clenched his fists as Takeda and his team departed.
Kenta swallowed. "He seemed like a tough guy."
Madoka nodded. "If we are to win, we'll need to train even harder."
Ash grinned. "Then let's get going! They will be defeated by Team Rising Storm!"
