Dominic paced in his room, restless.
Things weren't working his way.
The king trials were near, and so far, their sides have made no progress regarding the rogue attack.
To make things worse, his son did not talk to him because he thought what he did at the Lunar Ball was a bit too much.
Dominic ruffled his hair in frustration.
"What is the update on the rogue attack we planned on the Grand Palace?" Dominic asked his team.
Kayla, the spy, who had been sent to mediate with the rogues, bowed her head.
"Sir, the rogue head has denied attacking the Grand Palace for some reason. And because of his sudden denial, many rogues are backing off the plan. They don't want to risk getting on his bad side," Kayla answered.
Dominic found it weird.
It was already hard to get the assistant of the rogue head to agree to persuade his boss to attack the Grand Palace.
It was quite strange.
