Sequence 9: Lawyer:
New Abilities
Law Proficiency: Lawyers are exceptionally skilled at using the laws of legality and social behavior to suit their needs. This is due to their enhanced intelligence and ability to discern loopholes.
They are exceptionally attuned at learning and mastering various legal codes and court jobs. They possess an enhanced memory, powerful intuition, and a masterful vocabulary that makes them exceptional at eloquence and reasoning.
Through the careful use of their own words, actions, and established processes, Lawyers are able to effectively influence the judgement of others, distorting their targets thinking to a certain degree, and effectively Brainwashing them.
This is done through methods like making the target feel like they're close to the Lawyer via the divulsion of their various unimportant secrets.
Lawyers are rather skilled at finding and taking advantage of loopholes within various social rules and laws, being able to quickly find and exploit the legal weaknesses of enemies, letting them use society to get rid of unwanted people or scenarios.
Combined with their ability as a public speaker, Lawyers are able to quickly escalate or deescalate a solution down through their words alone, making them exceptional manipulators of various groups and individuals constrained by society.
Spirituality: Their Spirituality has been slightly enhanced as a Sequence 9 Beyonder of the Black Emperor Pathway, however they are far from the best or worse in this field; a mere average.
Ritualistic Magic and Divination Arts: They are able to perform a number of these mystical performances, however only up to a certain level with a certain amount of proficiency.
Spirit Vision: Lawyers possess Spirit Vision that can be used to peer into non-physical things, such as ghosts, specters, and the different parts of a organisms' soul to deduce one's health and emotions.
They can learn this ability through Cogitation.
Their chances of succeeding in Cogitation are exactly half and half.
Sequence 8: Barbarian:
New Abilities
Physical Enhancement: Upon advancing into Sequence 8, they will possess an enhanced strength, agility, robustness, and endurance that fully breaks the ordinary restraints and rules of the human body.
Their muscle density and strength will triple initially, allowing them to break the bones of other humans with merely 1 strike. Over time as the potion digests, this physical strength will be enhanced repeatedly. At full digestion, Barbarians will be able to break through stone with just their fists.
While they are not as fast as a Hunter, their muscle's elasticity allows them to quickly change their movement direction, seemingly bypassing many physical laws and constraints.
They can directly turn 180 degrees and maintain their original speed perfectly.
Their physical endurance and constitution have been the most enhanced among their physical strengthenings. Wounds that will kill others will only massively injure them, etc.
At full digestion, they can withstand the strikes of bladed weapons.
Mental Resistance: They possess a great and strong mental fortitude that makes them highly resistant to the effects of fear, pain, psychic and mental influences that don't originate from them.
They are able to easily shrug off the influences caused by a Psyche Analyst and an Interrogator will find it very difficult extracting information from their mind via their Whip of Pain or Psychic Piercing.
They are not greatly immune to the effects of desire though, only slightly resistant to it.
Bellow: A roar that could momentarily shake an opponent's mind, even knocking out the faint-hearted.
Berserk: A state which massively boosts all abilities but weakens instincts and mental resistance.
Strengthened Abilities
Law Proficiency: Problems that cannot be solved by the law will be solved by force. This is a rule of society that Barbarians will intuitively master and exploit to gain the most benefits possible in a situation.
They intuitively know what amount and type of violence is just above the base threshold of those who watch them. Overtime they can repeatedly use violence and intimidation tactics, along with misleading words and actions to slowly whittle away at a person's sense of order, allowing them to more easily persuade them to get along with more reprehensible and immoral actions.
