One Word: Absolute
Senfrevo Island!
Senfrevo Island is an archipelago consisting of nine circular islands.
At its heart lies the main island, the largest of them all, surrounded by eight smaller islands in a near-perfect ring. When viewed from above, the arrangement resembles a sunflower—a breathtaking sight.
"Is this Senfrevo Island?"
Gillian's eyes sparkled as she gazed at the distant archipelago, her voice tinged with excitement.
She had long known that Charlotte was setting sail in search of a renowned doctor, someone whose medical expertise was the stuff of legends. As a fellow doctor, she couldn't suppress her curiosity—or her admiration.
Especially since this doctor was a figure she had revered for years.
"It's here," Charlotte confirmed.
The main island of Senfrevo was notorious for being difficult to reach by ship. Treacherous reefs encircled it, making direct docking impossible. The only way in was via the eight towering steel bridges that connected the smaller islands to the central kingdom—a sight as grand as it was imposing.
This was the world of pirates, after all. Nothing was ever ordinary.
Charlotte found herself intrigued.
The main island housed a well-developed medical kingdom, home to a doctor named Lyle—a man whose unparalleled medical skill had once eradicated a deadly disease that had left the island's physicians helpless.
He had saved countless lives.
A true legend.
And this time, their target was none other than him.
As their ship approached one of the smaller islands, a towering white arch came into view.
"It's magnificent!"
The crew couldn't help but marvel as they sailed smoothly through the grand gateway and into the bustling port.
Once they disembarked, the atmosphere of the town immediately struck them—it was lively, business-oriented, and thriving.
"Let's go. We have business to attend to first," Charlotte said, pulling everyone's focus back to the task at hand.
"Charlotte, to reach the main island, we need to go to the town center and rent the local specialty mounts—wandering birds—to cross the bridge," Lina explained, relaying the information she had gathered.
"Alright, let's go."
The group made their way through the town, where exotic local wares and peculiar sights caught their attention at every turn. It was impossible not to be fascinated.
Before long, they arrived at the animal transport rental hall.
A staff member approached them with a welcoming smile.
"How many of you will be heading to the main island? You'll need to rent yotu birds for the journey."
Charlotte glanced at Beta, Barrett, Lina, Gillian, and himself.
"Five."
Once the paperwork was settled, a staff member led them through a tunnel, where they finally laid eyes on the yotu birds.
"Huh?"
They resembled oversized ostriches but with a peculiar bulge on their heads.
"Saga! These things look hilarious!" Beta's eyes gleamed with excitement, especially at the sight of the oddly shaped lump atop the birds' heads.
Without hesitation, Charlotte smacked Beta lightly on the neck before hopping onto his mount without another glance.
The others burst into laughter. Beta, feeling wronged, could only pout.
Once seated, Charlotte found the experience unexpectedly comfortable—each yotu bird came equipped with a parasol above the rider's head and a sturdy backrest. He could sit upright or lean back in relaxation.
"Not bad."
He gently patted his mount's side, and the yotu bird began to move, its steps steady as it advanced toward the bridge.
The pirate world never ceased to amaze. Intelligent creatures, exotic landscapes—everywhere, a sense of wonder.
As they crossed the bridge, the sea sparkled beneath them, stretching into the horizon.
From time to time, colorful fish leaped from the water, while flocks of large birds soared through the azure sky.
For a moment, Charlotte simply took it all in.
A rare, peaceful moment.
A reminder of what life could be.
Before long, they arrived at the main island—also known as Xiangyang Island—and returned their yotu birds.
"Boss, that bird was amazing!" Beta couldn't stop raving.
"Boss, can we buy a couple and take them back?"
Charlotte gave Beta a long, exasperated look. This guy was like a kid discovering a new toy.
He sighed.
Thinking back to what had just happened, he felt second-hand embarrassment.
On the way across the bridge, Beta had clung to his yotu bird like a giant koala, draping himself over it as if afraid to fall.
Just one word: Absolute.
Choosing to ignore the clown beside him, Charlotte turned his attention forward.
The town at the end of the bridge was clearly a product of its location—it had developed due to the heavy traffic crossing between islands. Eight such towns surrounded the main island in perfect symmetry.
Unlike the port town they had just left, this place was simpler, less business-driven.
Stepping outside the town limits, Charlotte took in the sight of the island itself.
It was vast, its terrain dominated by rolling green hills and open plains.
The fresh, crisp air was invigorating.
The road ahead was well-trodden, and scattered groups of travelers all moved in the same direction—toward the central town of Xiangyang Island.
That was their destination as well.
As time passed, they continued their journey, encountering a variety of unusual wildlife along the way.
Rabbits that bounced erratically.
Wild boars with apple-shaped tails.
...Uh. Quite the spectacle.
But such strange creatures were hardly out of place in this world.
After all, there were octopus balloons, Nannan birds, banana crocodiles, super-fast running ducks, and curly-collared marathon lizards...
The more one thought about it, the more absurdly scientific it all seemed.
Before long, a massive town emerged in the distance.
The towering white spires of its buildings stood out against the landscape, their pristine appearance almost holy. Thick stone walls encircled the town, and beyond them, a ring of enormous trees formed a natural barrier.
Following the flow of the crowd, Charlotte and his crew soon arrived at the city gate.
The guards allowed them through without issue.
The moment they stepped inside, the scenery transformed.
Elegant buildings of varying heights sprawled in every direction, their immaculate white facades giving the city a refined, artistic quality.
The streets were lined with rare and exotic plants, each carefully cultivated, exuding an air of wealth and sophistication.
Everyone was captivated by the sights.
Then—
A sudden commotion in the crowd.
The shift in atmosphere was unmistakable.
Charlotte's brows furrowed as he looked toward the source of the disturbance.
Just as he was about to ask what was going on—
A squad of soldiers stormed through the streets.
At their head, a commanding figure stepped forward and raised his voice.
