"Um... well... it doesn't come out, you know?"
I blurted out something weird without thinking.
I mean, there's no way there would be any demand for my chest in the first place.
"It'd be a problem if it did, though."
That response came so naturally.
"I mean, if it did come out, that'd be fine, but if something comes out when you're not even pregnant, isn't that a sign of some other medical issue?"
That explanation was oddly scientific. Fair point.
"Right... yeah..."
An awkward silence filled the air.
"Ah!"
He resumed what he was doing, and a strange noise escaped my lips.
Ahhh! I can't think of a good comeback!
Or wait, maybe this isn't something I need to think about?
This is one of those "don't think, just feel" moments, right?
Alright then—two can play this game!
I instinctively let my hand trail down to Hisui's lower body.
"Ah?!"
Surprised by the fact that he was already fully ready, I let out an involuntary sound.
"Well then, round two, shall we?"
Hisui gave me a slightly sadistic smile, looking rather pleased with himself.
If we're going for another round, who's next in line?
I just got a message earlier… Kiyora and Kotori? Suzume? Or maybe Granny Yata?
Considering the hierarchy, I can't rule out Tsugumi either…
Ugh, my mind is a mess!
"Uh, isn't this a bit excessive?"
I mean, even just a little while ago, it felt like a lot…
"Releasing inside isn't a waste, you know?"
Well, yeah, that's true.
That morning, I was once again filled to the brim.
It made me happy, sure… but is it really okay to be this happy?
"You beast..."
The words slipped out of my mouth.
"Thank you."
For some reason, he looked incredibly proud of himself as he said that, and he seemed genuinely happy about it.
"You're not going to collapse again, are you?"
This time, he seemed fine. Which was kind of surprising.
"Well, this was just letting out the excess, so it wasn't that tiring."
"That's how it works?"
"Yeah. If a guy stores it up for a long time before releasing it, that's when it really wears him out. But if it's just short sessions like this, it's more like playful teasing."
"Huh… I see."
So if he goes all out like last night, he'll collapse, but if it's light, he's fine.
In the worst case, I could just let him get it out of his system as a compromise...
"So, what's been bothering you so much?"
Sitting on the futon in a formal kneeling position, Hisui tilted his head slightly.
Unfair. Even the smallest of his gestures were unnecessarily cute.
"Well, you see… it's about all this stuff..."
Now that he'd calmed down, I decided to finally talk it over with him.
Straightening my posture, I also sat up properly on the futon.
The thing is, even as a wife, I can't dictate who my husband chooses to be with.
I can make recommendations, sure, but in the end, a man's free will takes priority.
So, really, me agonizing over this is just a waste of time.
I should just let Hisui decide.
Sighing inwardly, I flattened myself against the futon and quietly handed him my phone, screen facing him.
Displayed on it was a message about whether he could marry Kiyora and Kotori, or at least discuss strategies to make it happen.
It also mentioned, as a last resort, a casual arrangement between them.
"Hmm... is this an invitation?"
Hisui tilted his head as if to say, "Right?"
"It's a marriage proposal."
I decided to just be straightforward. I get that there's a sense of urgency, but throwing this out right now would only complicate things.
"What about the honeymoon exclusivity period?"
Ah, right, that's a thing.
"There's an unspoken agreement among wives—not to interfere with a newlywed couple's precious honeymoon phase. But if the husband or wife initiates something, it's fine."
So, it's kind of a loose rule.
If everything goes smoothly in order, great. But if someone interrupts, they lose their own exclusive time, and the order gets shuffled, making things messy.
"And what about you, Hachikuma?"
"Well… they're colleagues I get along with, so ultimately, I'd be happy if you could be with them."
Even as I said it, I realized how weirdly I was phrasing things.
"How close are you with them?"
"We hang out outside of work—grab drinks, have meals together."
We've had our fair share of stress-eating sessions, too.
"That sounds pretty close to me."
"Yeah, I guess it is."
And that's exactly the problem.
I do want them to be happy, and I want Hisui to dote on them, but…
Something about it just doesn't sit right with me.
"It's hard to put into words, but… ideally, I'd want you to marry them."
"I see..."
Chu.
He suddenly leaned in and kissed me.
"No point overthinking it. For now, let's take a bath and have some breakfast."
Hisui suggested.
Now that he mentioned it, I was starving.
Not to mention, we were both all sweaty and sticky.
