"Isn't this too heavy for you?"
"It's light as a feather!"
She shot back like I'd said something totally ridiculous.
"Is there some kind of win condition here?"
I asked something that had been bothering me.
I was currently slung over Hakuto's shoulder in what you might call a "sack-of-rice carry" as we sped through the inn.
"It's simple: if we get away, we win. If Hachikuma catches us, she wins. No time limit."
Hakuto replied between light breaths as she sprinted, sounding barely winded. She must be seriously trained. But if that's the rule…
"So we're basically set up to lose?"
I couldn't picture us winning.
"I want Hachikuma's team to get a taste of victory now and then, and I want my squad to understand the guards are no pushovers."
So yeah, we were definitely meant to lose.
"Sounds rough—taking on the dirty role."
I thought she'd just picked me up on impulse, but she'd clearly thought this through more than I expected.
"An officer's job is to create the right environment for their subordinates to shine!"
As Hachikuma closed in and reached out, Hakuto dodged and changed direction without missing a beat.
She moved like she had eyes in the back of her head.
If I tried to start flailing or accusing her of harassment or something right now, this whole game would end in an instant—but since this was training, maybe staying quiet was the right move?
"By the way, honey, how far do you wanna go?"
Hakuto asked between breaths, still not slowing down. At some point, we'd exited the inn completely.
She was probably using local shortcuts and back exits I didn't know about. I could only see the ground and her back, so it was hard to tell, but still…
"Surprised you're not calling me darling."
"You've got that royal jelly, don't you?"
That was... a pretty crass joke. For the record, royal jelly is a special secretion honeybees feed to future queens. It's kind of like honey, but white, gloopy, and not sweet.
"Oh, it comes out, sure."
I mean, for guys, that's kind of the default.
And honestly, I could feel a soft weight jiggling around my thigh. The main unit seemed to be half-awake, and I started wondering if, at full power, it'd be pressing into my armpit or something. Weird thoughts.
"Which! Is! Exactly! Why!"
As Hachikuma swung around trying to block our path, Hakuto nimbly dodged her while chatting. I'm not exactly light—about 50 kilograms—but he carried me like I was nothing. She's a monster.
She adjusted her hold and kept running, tossing me around like a juggling act without breaking stride.
The pace was way faster than a normal run. I had no idea how many kilometers per hour we were going.
"Later! I want some too!"
A straight-up proposition. Bold. Should I call that manly? No, masculine.
I kind of wondered what kind of expression she had on while saying that. From my current point of view, I could only see Hakuto's back, butt, and powerful, athletic legs—very healthy, very appealing lines.
A little disappointing, honestly.
"Alright, just wait your turn, okay?"
"Heh, I got that in writing!"
She pumped a fist mid-run, clearly pleased with herself.
"Oh, come on! Don't flirt while you're running from me—in front of the legal wife!"
Hachikuma shouted. Yeah, things were getting pretty chaotic.
We were all speaking loudly so we could hear each other over the wind and impact noise.
"Hey, what's the big deal? A rare good man like this? Public property!"
As usual, Hakuto showed no sign of slowing down—or remorse.

Hakuto is… very much not a virgin in several senses.
But somehow, everyone—including her wives—agrees she's technically still a virgin. And nobody allows reversal or being topped.
Also, fun fact: young dolphins often engage in same-sex activity for fun, and apparently, the more they do, the better they are at actual mating later on.
Apply that to humans and you get a cheerful little paper saying we should all try being gay while we're young. Lol
So yeah, Hakuto's experienced in all sorts of ways.
By the way, she managed to talk and sprint full-speed for over ten minutes. That's not human.
