Chapter 3 - Am I even A human?

Ciro's heart skipped a beat as he pushed open the big sliding gate painted in black, with a small door on the left side where students entered 🏫. He took a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.

The main school building was on the left, but the gate opened into the school ground, where students needed to pass through before walking up the ramp and turning left ⬅️. As he turned the corner, he saw stairs leading to the second floor, with 10 classes on each floor, all painted in white and golden 🎨.

Every class looked the same, with 20 desks in wooden brown color, and only one gate to enter or exit πŸšͺ. Ciro felt a sense of wonder as he explored the room, his eyes scanning the unfamiliar surroundings.

Suddenly, a teacher spotted him and approached. "Little boy, why are you here? Your class has already started πŸ“š." Ciro panicked, his face flushing with embarrassment.

"Umm, umm, actually, I, I, I'm new, I don't know where to go 😬," he stammered, his left hand on the back of his head and his left leg swinging nervously.

The teacher bent down, her expression kind. "Don't worry, boy, I'll help you find your class. What's your name, kid? πŸ€”" Ciro replied in a low, soft voice, "Umm, it's Ciro πŸ‘‹."

The teacher smiled. "Can you show me your ID card, Ciro? πŸ“" He nodded, rummaging through his bag. "Umm, sure teacher, okay! πŸ‘"

As she examined his ID card, she said, "Listen, Ciro, I'm Miss Tomoye. Whenever you need any help, meet me in the principal's office, okay? 🀝" Ciro nodded, feeling a sense of relief.

"And Ciro, your class is in the 3rd one on the 2nd floor. Let me take you there πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ." Ciro's face lit up with gratitude. "Thank you, teacher πŸ™."

The teacher led him to his class, where the students were already seated. As they entered, the teacher introduced Ciro, and the students turned to stare πŸ‘€.

Ciro felt self-conscious, but the teacher reassured him, "Don't worry, Ciro. You're welcome here 😊." The students seemed fascinated by his silver eyes πŸ‘€, and Ciro felt a sense of pride.

As the teacher began the lesson, Ciro took his seat, feeling excited and a bit nervous πŸŽ‰. But little did he know, his life was about to take a dramatic turn...

As the lesson progressed, Ciro noticed a student outside, playing on the road instead of in the school ground πŸš—. A car was approaching, and Ciro panicked, warning the teacher.

The teacher rushed outside, and Ciro followed, his heart racing. In a split second, he disappeared and reappeared in front of the student, saving him from the car 🚨.

The class erupted into chaos, with students screaming and throwing objects at Ciro 😱. The teacher tried to restore order, but Ciro was devastated, feeling like a monster πŸ‘Ή.

He ran out of the class, tears streaming down his face 😭. The school faculty called his mother, explaining the incident, and she rushed home, worried sick about her son.

When she arrived, Ciro was locked in his room, scratching his hair and replaying the events in his mind 🀯. His mother tapped on the door, calling out to him, but Ciro was too distraught to respond.

Finally, he opened the door, and his mother hugged him tightly, tears of relief streaming down her face 😭. "Never do that again, Ciro. Never make Moma so worried again πŸ˜”."

Ciro apologized, promising never to go to school again. His mother agreed, deciding to homeschool him until they could move to a new place 🏠.

As Ciro's mother wiped away her tears, Ciro asked himself in a whisper, "Am I a monster? πŸ€”"
