IF NAVI really wanted to get the hell out of there as soon as the Calamity appeared, she would have been gone already.
She could still use her Teleportation Skill.
Heck, she could even open a portal even if it meant raising the level of her Corrupted Mana.
But she was still, and she even let the teenager grab her shirt.
I can't leave.
And Navi found another reason to stay.
"U-Unnie, your face… you don't have a face…"
Right.
Navi removed the Items that gave the illusion that she had a normal face.
But that wasn't what was important at the moment.
"Eunbi-ya!"
The couple that the teenager pointed at earlier came running in their direction.
Then, the woman pulled the teenager into her arms as if to protect her from harm.
It's the teenager's older sister.
The man standing behind the two women had a pale face, but his eyes were full of determination to protect his girlfriend and future sister-in-law.
"Are you alright, Eunbi-ya?"
"I'm okay, Unnie."
"We should get out of here, fast…"
The teenager's older sister trailed off when she met Navi's eyes.
She can't see my eyes, but I'm sure she can feel my gaze.
"H-Hunter Ahn Navi…"
Navi was the only faceless Hunter in South Korea.
Hence, it wasn't a surprise that these people recognized her.
Navi just nodded as a greeting, and then she turned to the man who was looking at her with a shocked look on his face. "Ahjussi, are you not going to do it?"
As expected, the man looked confused. "D-Do what, Hunter Ahn?"
"The thing you want to do before the world ends. As you can see, that "monster" is no ordinary monster. I can't guarantee that I'm capable of stopping it from destroying the world. So, you better do what you need to do before it's too late."
Navi extended her hand and "knocked."
Her knuckles actually hit an invisible wall.
"I have the entire area protected, so you have five minutes to do it before the Calamity starts to notice me."
The Calamity was fascinated and distracted by the airplanes.
I already checked, and the airplanes there aren't occupied. Well, not the airplanes that the Calamity is playing with as if they are toys, at least.
That didn't mean that Navi and this family had all the time in the world, though.
Thankfully, the man already got the hint.
He better do, since I'm close to yelling at him to get on his knees and propose.
And that would have ruined the surprise marriage proposal.
"J-Jagiya, what's going on here?"
Jagiya?
Aww.
How sweet.
That was the endearment I wanted to call Won Yiwon, back when I thought he felt the same way towards me.
"Eunha-ya," the man said, calling his girlfriend's name affectionately as he faced her. And then he got down on one knee while pulling out a small velvet box from the pocket of his jeans. Then, just like in any classic marriage proposal, he opened the box and presented the diamond ring to his partner while looking up at her with sparkling eyes. "I don't care if we only have a few years or a few seconds to live. I'd still want to spend every moment left with you. Will you marry me?"
Eunha, the teenager's older sister, covered her mouth when she gasped.
Tears also fell from the woman's eyes.
Those tears are probably a mixture of joy and fear.
But, to be fair, there was no fear in Eunha's eyes as she smiled and nodded.
"Yes, Hajoon-ah," Eunha said while nodding, tears still rolling down her cheeks. "I will marry you."
Aww.
Hajoon got up, now crying, and put the ring on Eunha's finger.
And then the couple embraced each other while sobbing.
It was a shame that only Navi could witness that romantic marriage proposal.
What could be more romantic than a marriage proposal with a Calamity in the background?
Okay, this is enough inspiration to save the world for the second time.
"Unnie, where are you going?"
"What a silly question, kid," Navi said, laughing softly at the teenager's question. "Where am I supposed to go when there's a Calamity in front of me?"
"But you're alone, Unnie," the teenager said, confused. "Are you going to fight that scary thing alone?"
Woah.
Navi almost cried on the spot.
During my prime, whenever a new and scary thing shows up, everyone expects me to step up— as if the thought of me being terrified never crossed their mind.
Everyone except Won Yiwon.
But we're often dispatched to different places, so I often faced the unknown alone.
So, it felt nice when the teenager showed her concern for her.
"Unnie, you said Hunters are going to be here soon," the teenager said, clinging to the sleeve of Navi's hoodie. "Then just wait for them."
Ah, what a sweet summer child.
Those Hunters will only get in my way, but I don't have the heart to tell them that the thing outside is a Calamity and not a monster.
She didn't want to scare the child.
"Unnie, wear your mask again," the teenager urged Navi. "Run away with us."
Eunha and Hajoon, the newly engaged couple, looked at Navi as if they were telling her that they agreed with Eunbi.
What a sweet family.
"I'll give you the bragging rights to say that I saved the world because I liked your marriage proposal," Navi said to the newly engaged couple. "It's the most romantic one I've seen."
Eunha and Hajoon looked like they didn't know what to say.
And I don't have the luxury to wait for their reaction.
Navi pulled out a Glass Jar from her Inventory— it was a small round glass with a small garden inside. "Eunbi-ya, go to where the crowd is. Gather as many people as you can. Then break this glass."
She put the small Glass Jar in the teenager's hands.
"This Terrarium is strong enough to protect the entire airport. Break it as soon as you find a large crowd. Can you do that for me?"
Eunbi's hands were shaking, but she hugged the Glass Jar near her chest. "I-I can do it, Unnie."
Navi smiled and was about to leave, but…
What if I don't survive this time?
"Eunbi-ya, can I ask for another favor?"
"Of course, Unnie."
This time, Navi put her phone in the front pouch of Eunbi's hoodie. "Call Won Yiwon. His number is the only number saved in that phone. Tell him to get his ass here because I'm not sure if I can kill the Calamity on my own this time."
Eunbi nodded, and then she knitted her eyebrows. "That's it, Unnie? You're not going to leave Hunter Won Yiwon a personal message?"
"Well, I'm hoping I'll make it out alive."
Eunbi gasped as if she thought she had misspoken. "I'm sorry, Unnie. I didn't mean it that way…"
"It's alright, I understand. You should leave now."
Eunbi and the newly engaged couple looked hesitant to leave.
"I'll be fine," Navi said, pausing for a moment. A random thought suddenly crossed her mind, making her grab the teenager by the arm. "Actually, I'd like to leave a message for Won Yiwon."

[DANGER!
My child, that Calamity is no ordinary Calamity!]
Navi could tell.
And, yet, she ignored the Status Window's message and grabbed a Glass Jar from her Inventory.
This time, the Glass Jar was shining in gold.
The ecosystem inside was all made of gold: the trees, the plants, the flowers, even the grass.
That was the same Glass Jar that she used when she fought the First Calamity.
But I was in my prime back then.
Now…
[It's not too late to retreat, Hunter Ahn Navi!
A Fallen Constellation is far more dangerous than a Calamity!]
Right.
The thing in front of Navi was a Fallen Constellation— aka a disgraced System God.
Just my luck.
[Ahn Navi, you're my precious first child. I don't want you to die here. So, please listen to me.]
Aigoo.
"Sola-nim, I'm Asian. You should know that the eldest daughter in an Asian household is one of the most responsible people you'll ever meet in your life," Navi said, dropping the Golden Glass Jar on the asphalt. "We'll die of guilt if we don't protect our family."
As soon as the environment changed, the Fallen Constellation finally paid attention to Navi…
… and that was the moment she signed her own death warrant.
