IT HAPPENED while Viki was having lunch with her alien babies.
They were enjoying the braised beef short ribs that she painstakingly cooked last night when a serpent bracelet made of glass appeared around her right arm.
And then the glass serpent bracelet cracked.
As expected, the alien babies gasped.
"Sion Hyung is breaking his Oath of Silence," Nam Juno said in disbelief. "No, I think he's on the verge of doing it."
"He's probably fighting it. If Sion Hyung broke the Oath of Silence, then the glass serpent would have been broken already," Han Nora explained in a serious tone. "That means Sion Hyung is currently being forced by someone to talk about Mama or us. Maybe both."
"But knowing Sion Hyung…" Chae Baam said, and then he gulped before finishing his sentence. "He'd rather die than betray us."
