Marineford, Marine Headquarters!
The warship slowly sailed into the Marine Headquarters port.
From afar,
One could see the massive complex of Marine Headquarters, magnificent and awe-inspiring.
At the center of the fortress, one could see a towering wall that reached into the sky, its height unknown.
From the port, one could clearly see the two large characters for "Marine"
Inscribed on the wall, solemn and imposing.
Above this towering wall were several layers of ancient buildings, the two combined.
The atmosphere was grand and quite spectacular.
There were also four towering watchtowers surrounding the complex.
Each watchtower flew a Marine flag, guarding the Marine Headquarters.
Besides those structures were continuous clusters of town buildings.
Although they lacked the majesty of the main buildings in the rear, they brought a touch of life to the solemn headquarters.
These elements formed the unique Marine Headquarters.
"Is this Marineford?!"
The soldiers from the Four Blues were extremely shocked when they saw the full view of the Marine Headquarters.
Compared to Marine Headquarters,
Their branch bases seemed like small courtyards.
Rear Admiral Wells smiled slightly when he saw the soldiers' reactions.
After all, he had been promoted from a Four Blues branch, and he had the same expression when he first saw Marineford.
As the warship docked, Rear Admiral Wells said,
"Everyone, gather your belongings and prepare to disembark."
Sakazuki disembarked with the others.
Along the way, there were many Marine Headquarters soldiers, but they were orderly.
Following the large group, they walked to a wide square.
This square was so large that it could accommodate tens of thousands of people training simultaneously, and it was divided into many areas.
In some areas, many Marine soldiers were training.
Sakazuki and the others were led to a spot where many people had already gathered.
Most of them were wearing Marine uniforms, but some were wearing civilian clothing.
Marine regulations allowed officers of the Lieutenant rank and above to wear a coat with "Justice" written on the back in combination with the standard uniform.
Officers of the Colonel rank and above could wear casual clothes in combination with a Justice coat.
Sakazuki had been promoted to Vice Admiral a year ago, but he was so used to the uniform that he hadn't changed it.
These people were clearly outstanding soldiers gathered from all over the world.
Wells walked up to a few soldiers who were also rear admirals.
Several officers wearing Marine Justice coats smiled and said to Wells,
"Wells, you're too slow. We've been waiting for you for a while." ""
""
---
On the other side, Sakazuki and the others lined up.
Soon after, a group of officers walked over.
Leading the way were two tall and strong middle-aged men wearing white suits
And Justice coats.
One had purple hair and the other had black hair, and they were laughing heartily.
"Vice Admiral Zeff, Vice Admiral Garp."
When the two appeared, Wells and the surrounding Marine Headquarters soldiers respectfully shouted.
"Zeff, Garp, huh."
Sakazuki's pupils shrank, and he stared at the two men, his heart shaken.
Even though he had prepared himself, he could still feel a huge gap compared to the two of them.
*Are these the strongest people in the world?* (Note: It is now Marine Calendar 1482. Garp and Roger joined forces to defeat Rocks in 1484, so they are considered to be at their peak, not in terms of strength, but as one of the strongest forces in the world.)
Although he was shocked by the strength of the two, Sakazuki did not agree with their ways.
One was idealistic justice.
After his wife and children were cruelly murdered by pirates, his personality changed drastically, and he hated pirates.
The massacre of his students and the decisions of the higher-ups eventually led him to fanaticism and destruction.
One was unrestrained justice.
Although he was revered as a Marine hero, he did things as he pleased.
Judging from his attitude toward Roger at the time, he was actually abetting the evildoer.
Roger destroyed a country's army because someone said something bad about his companions.
Garp recalled that he was as brutal as a demon, but Garp still became friends with him.
After Roger died, his idea changed to as long as there was no bloodshed, it was peace.
A passive attitude, no snowflake in an avalanche is innocent.
Walking to the front of the line, Zeff said,
"For the next week, I and Garp will be conducting a trial."
"After a week, the most outstanding people among you will be selected for three years of guided training."
"Your performance will be recorded by someone every day."
"Only those with the best overall qualities will stay."
"You are the future of the Marines."
"But how far you can go is up to you."
"Understand?"
The Marine soldiers, filled with excitement, shouted in unison.
"Understand!!!"
Sometimes chicken blood is very useful.
Zeff nodded with satisfaction and said with a serious expression.
"I haven't looked at your data because no matter what you were before."
"Whether you are gifted or have made great contributions."
"When you get here."
"You only have one identity now."
"Marine new blood."
"And me, Garp, and the officers behind me are your instructors."
"All you have to do is start all over again and obey absolutely."
"Understand?"
"Understand!!!"
The neat answer, obedience to orders is the most basic thing for soldiers.
These were not problems for everyone.
"Very good, the first lesson I'm going to give you today is, Justice."
"Justice, only two words."
"But it has been the belief of all Marine soldiers."
"Many people become Marines, they all have their own ideas."
"But no matter what your previous ideas were."
"Before you do anything, you have to ask yourself."
"Is this the justice you abide by?"
"Understand?"
"Understand!!!"
Justice is the Marine's faith, although everyone has a different understanding of justice.
But the vast majority of Marine soldiers and officers are soldiers who believe in justice.
Then Zeff said,
"Very good."
"Next, the colonels behind me will test you."
"Foss."
"Present."
"Fermanson."
"Present."
""
""
""
"The above ten people, step out and start testing."
Swish!
Boom!
For a time, there was a flurry of blades and fists clashing in the square in front.
Before long, a figure flew out first.
"Next, Lino."
"Present."
""
Time passed little by little, and finally:
"Sakazuki."
"Present."
Attracting the attention of many people, after all, setting aside the magma fruit.
Sakazuki, who was burly and muscular, was also full of pressure.
Standing in the arena, Sakazuki looked at the colonel opposite him and said,
"Colonel, be careful."
Colonel Phil smiled heartily and said,
"Haha, it's okay, you can do whatever you want."
Sakazuki mobilized his fruit abilities, and his entire body turned red.
His skin was faintly transforming into magma, but he maintained his human form, and his whole body was steaming.
He let out a light drink, and steam came out of his mouth.
"Crimson Lotus."
Shave!
"Magma Burst!"
Swish!
Seeing Sakazuki suddenly appear in front of him.
Under Phil's carelessness, he was too late to dodge.
Helplessly, he could only:
"Iron Body - Steel!"
Sakazuki punched Phil's stomach right in the middle, and his stomach caved in.
"Pfft!"
"Ugh."
