Sitting on an empty swing in that peaceful park, I was embracing the serenity, trying to soothe my mind. The cool breeze's freshness was calming the restlessness within me.
The earth here was adorned with lush green grass, damp and carrying a soothing chill. The red flowers added to the park's tranquility, making it even more enchanting. I was admiring it all when suddenly, I felt a sharp pain on my back, as if someone had hit me from behind.
I was just about to turn around when I heard that familiar yet unfamiliar voice, filled with laughter, saying to me, "Oh, so you're here! No wonder I was sensing so much negative energy from this place."
The peace I was feeling, the calm I was bringing to my anger—some fool took that peace, crumpled it into a tiny packet, and threw it far away.
I was furious. My brows furrowed on their own, my eyes turned red, filled with an overwhelming intensity of rage. I turned around, and as if I had already known, there was only one girl who could truly irritate my mind. She stood before me, smirking—mocking me—with her annoying face.
Who else could it be?? There's only one idiot, and she's right in front of me—Rhea.
She was wearing green baggy jeans that hung loosely around her legs and a gray oversized hoodie with some bold words printed on it—"HOW ABOUT 69??"
Her red, curly hair was left open, falling over her shoulders. Her nose was thin and perfectly straight, adding to her beauty. Her face was heart-shaped, her lips were red, and her skin was like coffee.
Overall, she was beautiful.
I shot her a glare filled with anger, and with a wicked smirk on my face, I punched her in the stomach.
A deep sense of satisfaction washed over me—why wouldn't it? Who was the one who had disturbed my peace in the first place? But it seemed like Rhea couldn't handle this sudden attack. The smirk on her face was gone, replaced by a look of pure rage, which only made me laugh. Her expression was priceless. She stared at me, and with a teasing smile, I asked,
"Didn't I tell you not to come? And yet you're here, stealing other people's peace. Well, this is what you get. Go take a look at your face—ha ha ha!"
I burst into laughter, but just then, a sharp pain shot through my stomach.
Before I could react, I heard Rhea laughing, her voice laced not with anger but with amusement. In a confident, playful tone, she said,
"Girl! If you forgot, let me remind you—I take punches like these every day. And just so you know, I love boxing."
Her words didn't surprise me at all. I already knew she was skilled at boxing—so skilled that I had lost beaten by her countless times. But strangely, I don't why I like to beaten up by her everytime.
Anyway, leaving all that aside, Rhea smirked and said in a playful voice,
"Why weren't you answering my calls? Do you have any idea how much a precious girl like me had to wander around just to find you?"
Saying this, she plopped down onto the nearby swing. I heard Rhea's annoying voice again. "But I still looked for you! The guy who broke your heart—I've made a plan to beat him up, and you're going to be part of it."
I stared at her, wondering what nonsense she was spouting this time. The thought made me want to laugh, so I stayed quiet.
Then she said, "Call him. Say some sweet words and lure him into my territory. Just say anything ridiculous—basically, seduce him!"
A wide grin spread across her face. "That poor guy will show up with dreams in his eyes, but instead of dreams, he'll get a beating!"
She smirked at me, raising her brows proudly. "So? How's my idea?"
Her words made me laugh, but listening to her endless nonsense was starting to give me a headache. She nudged my shoulder and said, "Come on, girl, answer me!"
I couldn't take it anymore. I lowered my gaze, my voice turning soft with sadness. "It's not about that…"
She seemed shocked. The grin on her face disappeared. Then, with wide eyes, she asked, "Did you… have 69 with some dumbass? And now you're regretting it?" I become amused what she is saying and surge with laughter.
She looked way too eager to ask me such a filthy question. I couldn't tolerate her dirty mind anymore. In a low voice, I muttered, "No… I had a fight with my mom. Because of Freya."
