I awake once more, tho this time thanks to return by death that Subaru has. I quickly look to see if he would be where the Apple stall is and speak of the devil, he is. 'hm so his checkpoints has an effect on me, forcing me to go back as well. Than probably I will also be forced back...'.
But my gaze on Subaru makes me notice a small detail on him. He is not panting in exhaustion but has a more dead inside look. 'Should he not be terrified for dying as it was his first death? Does he not get that kind of face after many trials and errors?'.
'Hold on, when I killed Subaru I gained COS points for... I guess showing that I am capable of killing someone?' I mentally summon my status Panel.

As I look at COS I see only 5 pointa than 68 that it said first? 'Why have I not gotten my full amount?!' as I try to think of an answer, it hits me, the only one that remembers me killing Subaru after the return by death IS Subaru. 'So that means I must spare people if no one is there so see my feat' I sigh in disappoinment.
'But what is the game plan now? I probably won't be going with Subaru to fight Elsa but maybe I can go there and 'accidentally' stumble on their fight'.
I begin to walk away from the area and on my way to find the slums, guess who gets lost? 'How could I find the Apple stall but not the goddam stall?!'.
After some time I finally find the slums. "Hm, looks more bad than I remember". As far as the eye could see was allot of suffering. Houses with damaged walls, almost dying people sitting down on the ground. So ye, pretty depressing.
As my eyes look around I see the silhouette of someone familiar that I have yet to meet in person, Emilia. 'Wait, why is she here? And alone? The only time she is at the slums is when she is with Subaru and when arriving in the third loop.'
'What if... The loops have already happened but I did not notice the restarts. But why did I notice the restart when I killed Subaru than?'
'But seeing her alone here is a good excuse for me to tag alone as this would be a great boon to me, because this would grant me favor with someone of power. It is similar to why Lu Bu would join up with Dong Zhuo'
I approach her and call out to her "What is a lone woman doing here all alone in such a dangerous place?"
She jumps at as I talk out of surprise, almost like a child that had been caught in a mischievous act and turns around.
I see her iconic white long hair, white with a few purple dress and even a small flower on her chest. 'so she has gone and helped the child of the apple stall owner, probably also why than she is here from his information on where she should search'.
"I'm searching for something that was stolen from me, and I have reason to believe that the Thief has come here!"
"Oh is that so?" She gives me head nods. "Then you wi-". Before I could continue time seems to stop and than the system pops up

"If we also go by the Romance of the three kingdoms and dynasty warriors games than Lu Bu was shown to have a soft spot for women by example Diaochan" After a while the system answers

Time resumes as if nothing had happened "-ll need a guard to make sure none dare to approach you. And that will especially happen with me around"
Emilia takes a second to take in my request and finally answers "I don't know... I'm probably going to be fin-" before she continues the spirit Puck summons himself.

"Puck!" She blushes hard thanks to the embarrassing statement
"Lia lisen to me, I am soon at my limit which means that I will not be able to protect you if something happens, so for that let's take the help of the big guy here"
At this Emilia takes a moments and says "Fine..."
Puck turns to me and says "And you big guy better protect with your life or else" and start's mockingly doing a boxing stance
"I, Lu Bu promise to protect this maiden withy life".
'Even if my promises should be the least reliable of anyone.' I think to myself
"Than it's a deal!" Says Puck and disappears
After a little while of silence I ask her " So where are we headed of to?"
"To a small house that is connected to the Thief and will most likely be where my possession is" she says confidently
"Lead the way." at this she turns around and start's to guide us to our destination
The walk is silent, with none of us two talking until she asks "So... Your name is Loo boo?"
"It's Lu Bu not 'Loo Boo'"
She blushes at the mistake. "Ah ok... But it is a unique name, Never heard of someone named like that"
"Well I come from far away and there we a different way when giving names, for example the Bu in my name could translated to 'cloth'." This gives her a confused expression but before she asks I ask her of her name, even tho I know it.
"And you are Lia? Like that flying cat said right?"
She gives a small giggles and say's "That is actually his nickname for me, and he is Puck by the way" after saying this she says "oh I never introduced myself... Sorry!"
She stops walking turns to me and brings forward her hand for a hand shake "I am Emilia, Nice to meet you!"
I stare at her for a moment before I grab and shake her hand "Lu Bu" is the only thing I say. She gives a nod and we continue to walk
Finally we arrive at the house where Subaru, felt and that other guy are, Emilia says "We should probably knock before we enter"
"Why? That is pointless, we should just barge in, I will kick the door down and you follow me." She grabs my arm and say's in a panic
"WAIT, what if this is the wrong house and we hurt innocent people?! And also it's the courteous thing to do!"
I look at her Shocked at the idea of just knocking politely on a potential dangerous enemy, but I know it's Subaru and felt inside so it should be fine, so I answer her a begrudgingly "Fine".
Emilia walks up the door and knocks. Both of us hear a male voice on the other side "Don't open it! W-we'll be killed!" Me and Emilia stare at each other about what we just heard and than stare at the door as someone opens the door
She enters first and say's "Kill you? I wouldn't do something so terrifying." And than I enter 'should I scare them? The system and the real Lu Bu would probably want that...'
It take of my halberd and hold the giant weapon with one hand, then point it at them "You might not, but I might"
Emilia immediately protest "No we will not!" Before me and her could argue Subaru that has a deep stare of fear while looking at me say's to both of us
"This is a misunderstanding! We are not working together, I just want to return the thing that was stolen from you!"
Emilia confused say's "You two are not working together?" Looking at Subaru and Felt
Felt points at Subaru in a very angry felt way "You are in cahoots with her! I knew it! You just wanted to stall for time so she and this big dude could bust us!"
"What no! The the trade was real, and I did not know that she would come here!"
As they argue a thought popped up. 'Where is Elsa?' than my instincts flare up of something coming behind me.
"Puck shield!" Says Subaru which makes Puck come out and block a flying dagger coming for Emilia while I block a direct attack from Elsa
"Huh keen instincts~" she says seductively, primarily at me, while I retort "And you have weak strikes"
"Is that so~?" As she says this, she jumps over me and goes to strike at my back, sadly she is much faster than me and I don't get a chance to intercept her attack
As I feel her dagger at my back, I am surprised to feel that her daggers hurt less than I expected. 'So this is the power of 200 HP in my stats with 25 Defense, but even if she does less than I expected it still bad for me because of our agility difference'
'While I can match her speed with my physical power, I can't match her acrobatics' Thankfully Puck and Emilia begins to throw their ice magic at her which takes Elsa attention from me, but the bad news is that she is now running to them
As Elsa goes for an attack at Emilia, towards her stomach area. Puck puts up a shield and Subaru is able to grab Emilia out of harm's way from any potential follow up attacks from Elsa
"I am your opponent!" I roar and with all my power at my feet, I leap at her and swing 'sky piercer' in a sideways arc movement. Which leads to Elsa only being to block my attack which sends her flying and crashing through the wall
"Did we get her?" Asks Dom, 'Or was it Rom? I don't remember his name, he was pretty insignificant in the anime, he did not even come up later from what I've have seen'
Sadly to answer Roms question, is non other than Elsa her self "That actually hurt you know~" Elsa rises. "I probably need to be more serious or I might die with such a Strike~"
'Well at least I hit like a truck, but this seems like a fighting game scenario "who wins? The fastest character with low damage or the most heavy but slow character?" Truly a question for the ages...'
Elsa walks up to some ice that was buried in the wall and puts it on her feet. 'What is that going to do?' Than she begins to jump around the walls and ceilings and leaps to me
As I block her first strike, she already jumps back and attacks again without me being able do do anything. 'Wha-, why is she so dam fast?! I'm dying at this rate!'
At the sidelines Subaru is looking concerned at the current fight. 'If Lu Bu is defeated, than Elsa will come at the rest of dammit!'
'Think Subaru, think! We need help but none of us are fast enou-' a thought popped up in his head, Felt.
"Felt!" This brings Felts attention to Subaru. "What is it?!". Subaru grabs her shoulders and tells her "You must run and get help"
"WHAT, no I will not leav-" she gets cut off by Subaru "you are the only one that is fast enough please"
With a look of regret she accepts his reasoning and runs. While Emilia asks Puck "Can't we do anything to help him?!"
Puck sullenly simple replies "No", and continues "We might just hit him so we can't risk that...Lia, you need to run"
"No I will not leave someone that wanted to help in the beginning!" And than says "He might be a bit ruff and not really that friendly with his demeanor but he still offered to help me!"
With a determined look she finally answers "So no, I will leave him". At this Puck gives a small smile "Ok Lia, when we see a chance we will try and trap her so that Lu Bu might be able to hit her"
While that was going on I was fighting for my life as I feel like I might soon be meeting death. 'I at least I might start over if I di-' than time stops

"But why sent me back if fail to act like a dam character from ancient history and or games?!"
[Because this is a roleplay game, similar to games like DnD, if a character dies than that is their story. Except here you will gain no second character to play]
I give an angry look and retort "Than I will act like nothing as Lu Bu would to make a restart!"

'What is this bullshit! If the system won't help me than...' a stroke of genius hits me and I say to the system. "How about you give some kind of challenge to do to increase my power and if I fail that I will be punished by weakening me?"

I look at the fruits of my labor and smile "Let's do this." And time resumes to the constant attacks of Elsa
I think of a way to get out of this situation by giving myself space, than I remember something from the Dynasty Warriors games, Mosu rage. 'When one activates Mosu rage than they yell and push their enemies back. So let's try something like that's
I summon everytime of rage that I have in my body and combine it with my brave energy and than yell atop of my lungs. "RAAAH" which creates a small shock wave that pushes Elsa back
As she lands on her feet she has a shocked expression of being pushed back by simple YELLS. "What how is that possible?"
Than I activate my new trait 'terrifying music'. What I hear is Lu Bu's theme from Dynasty Warriors Origins. 'but for others, I have no clue'.
Subaru is the first to ask "Am I the only that hears music playing?" Emilia says "No I hear it to?" With a questionable look of what is going on
A give a grin and say "I have had enough fun with you woman. Even if you are a waste of time against me, you DID entertain me. But sadly for you, I am Lu Bu! The mightiest warrior to ever live!"
Elsa gives a stunted expression. "What?" She could only muster saying. 'Whas he just acting weaker before? Just to MESS WITH ME?!"
She gives an angry look and charges at me while I charge a powerful attack by putting all of my brave Energy reserves into it.
"Now Puck!" Scream Emilia and Puck simple says "I got it!" And entraps Elsas feet on the floor.
While me and Elsa where fighting, Puck put a light layer on the floor to be able to fuse the ice on Elsas foot. In more simple words she was stuck
"NO! RELEASE ME YOU DAM SPIRIT!" As her screams fall on deff ears. I unleash my attack
"Now DIE!" I yell out.
My attack is like wave of energy that fly's in forward directions. This takes Elsa entirely and than crashes at the walls of the house. Collapsing that side of the building.
I take this moment of peace to breath for completing my task. "We... actually did it? Without any more help?" Asks Subaru
I simple answer "The outcome was already decided by my involvement. For Lu Bu does not lose!" I say proudly. 'Even if I could probably not have won without the help of Puck and Emilia... But they don't need to know that's'
Approach the others and hear Rom say "My poor house..." And I answer "Better your house than your life, old timer"
"Ye I guess you are right... What old timer! Watch your mouth before I beat some sense into you!"
I turn my gaze to Puch and see him disappear after saying something to Emilia 'So it's time for him to rest? He was around longer than I had anticipated, but that might have been thanks to me taking most of her attacks'
"Guys hold on! I brought hel-" and like that Felt announces her presences. With Reinhard by her side.
"But it seems that the problem was solved by it's own, I'm happy no harm came to any of you" says Reinhard after entering
"You might not have noticed half of the house being collapsed, but I guess it could have been worse. The only one hurt it the big guy here" Subaru says and points at me
"Lu Bu, and you better remember it insect" I say annoyed. 'That he still calls me 'big guy' and not something like 'great warrior' or the like. Probably still holds a grudge against me, so I can't blame him that much'
"And I am Natsuki Subaru, the next big hero! So you better not forget it!" While doing a wacky pose.
But before I could retort the ruble where Elsas body should be begins to Shake. 'Is she not dead?! But that attack should... Wait I got no reward for my quest!'
"Watch out, She is still alive!" As I say this, Elsa trows a sharp piece of wood from the pieces of the destroyed house. And it flyes straight towards Emilia
But Subaru, showing his heroism pushes Emilia to the side, saving her but making himself be hit by the piece of wood.
I turn towards the wreckage, there I see Elsa, all bloody and deeply wounded. "You might have won now... But I will be back" and then she looks at me with a face of anger and wrath and says "And I promise, I will kill YOU" and then retreats.

Emilia Shocked by Subaru actions quickly rushes to him and begins using healing magic. "Everything is going to be ok! I know healing magic so will survive this, I promise!"
"Could... I ask you a favor?" Emilia responds "Of course anything!"
"Could you... Tell me your name?" Emilia gives a stunt expression but answer "It's Emilia, but do you want to kn-" before she could ask her question, Subaru passes out.
Emilia now is working overtime to keep Subaru from flat lining. Which she is doing a good job if time has not restarted.
A long silence goes for a long while until Emilia announces "He is now stable
..." Which brightens the mood of everyone here, even the tsundere Felt
As Felt goes up to Emilia to apologize, Reinhard approaches me.
"So you where the one that stood toe to toe against the Bowel hunter Elsa? It's very impressive, there are not allot of people out there that can claim to have survived, let alone defeat her"
"Of course, I am the mightiest warrior where I am from. No simple assassin could best me in combat!"
"I would not call her a simple assassin..." He answers back
And he looks back at the girls he looks at the shining Insignia that makes him be in shock. Which leads to the events of him nocking her to take with him
Tho because Rom is alive and well, stops Reinhard from leaving. "I will not let you take her away! Even if you are Reinhard!"
Before the situation could escalate I grab Rom to stop him doing anything rash and say. "What Reinhard will do is not arest her old man. But instead to give her protection"
"What? But why?" Rom asks very confused. "Because the Insignia was shining, which means that she is a candidate to become king"
"So you saw that too? Well I did hope to reveal that but yes, that is my plan. I extende my hand for you Rom. To help Felt in any way so that she may become king"
"What, for real? Felt could become king?" He takes a look at the sleeping felt and says "For felt, I would do anything. So I'm coming along!"
Reinhard than turns to me "And for you to, I could of housing, food anything you want. You seem like a very capable individual, having you would be a big help also"
I take a moment to ponder. 'That is an interesting offer...' I take a look at Emilia, who has a dumfounded face for what is going on right now. 'But I still feel sticking with the main cast would grant me more benefits and growth'
"I decline, my services is for another" while looking at Emilia and Subaru. He gives an understanding face and says "I see... A shame but I am sure you will do great things with her than". Then he turn to Emilia and says "Have a good night both of you then"
As they leave only I, Emilia and Subaru remain.
"So... Who are you working for?" She asks not understanding any of the hints had given
'Why does it have to be such a long day?' I think becoming very tired of the thought of needing to explain...
