Chapter 17 - chapter 17 - Taste of perfection

The Library within Harry's mind was vast, filled with countless books he had absorbed over the past months. But now, as he sat cross-legged on his bed, his focus was solely on one subject—cuisine.

He had collected knowledge from dozens of books on European cooking, each offering unique techniques, flavors, and cultural specialties. French, Italian, Spanish, German, British—he had it all.

And tonight, he wanted to sort them.

His mind moved like an archivist, organizing every bit of information, categorizing techniques, comparing recipes, and filtering out redundancies. He wasn't just memorizing; he was refining.

Then, something shifted.

Comprehensive Understanding Achieved: European Cuisine

A flawless Golden Book has been created!

This book contains perfected techniques and knowledge of European cuisine.

To truly master its contents, a Golden Page is required.

Harry exhaled slowly. He had formed his first Golden Book. The knowledge was there, complete and structured, but it wasn't yet his. Not fully.

He would have to teach to earn a Golden Page.

But for now, he was eager to test what he had learned.

"Let's cook dinner tonight."

Timmy, his ever-loyal house-elf, looked at him with wide eyes. "Master Harry wants to cook? But Timmy can cook!"

Harry smiled. "I know, Timmy. But tonight, I want to try something different."

The elf hesitated before nodding. "If Master wishes, Timmy shall prepare ingredients!"

Harry stepped into the kitchen with newfound confidence. Every motion, from washing vegetables to lighting the stove, felt precise. His hands moved with a certainty that came from the sheer volume of knowledge in his mind.

The Menu:

Appetizer: Creamy mushroom soup with toasted garlic bread.

Main Course: Herb-crusted lamb chops with rosemary-infused mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables.

Dessert: A light, fluffy soufflé with a drizzle of homemade berry sauce.

The air filled with rich, enticing aromas as he worked, drawing the attention of his family.

Dudley was the first to react, staring wide-eyed at the table. "Wait… you made this?"

Harry nodded, suppressing a smirk.

Petunia, skeptical as ever, took a careful bite of the soup. Her expression barely changed, but the slight widening of her eyes was enough. "This is… quite good."

Dudley, however, had no restraint. "Good?! This is amazing! Way better than anything we've ever had!"

Timmy, watching from the side, sniffled."Master Harry is incredible! This be better than old family chef!"

Harry chuckled. "Just a little practice."

As they ate, he knew one thing for sure—he wanted more Golden Pages.

Because if just having a Golden Book could make this much of a difference, then truly mastering it would be life-changing.

And this was just the beginning.
