Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Victory Celebration

The party was in full swing at J-Tech, and Donald couldn't believe how much fun everyone was having. After winning the game, the Eagles were ready to celebrate, and the energy was off the charts. Music pumped through the speakers, and colorful lights flashed everywhere.

Donald sat at a table with Bella, Mike, and Sarah. "This is amazing!" Donald exclaimed, taking a big bite of his burger. "I can't believe we won!"

"Yeah, and the best part? We're all here together!" Bella said, her eyes shining. She looked cute in her sparkly dress, and Donald felt lucky to be with her.

Just then, Ryan, the team captain, jumped onto a table, waving his arms. "Okay, everyone! Listen up!" he shouted. The music faded a little as everyone turned to look at him. "Let's make this night unforgettable! Who's ready for some games?"

The crowd erupted in cheers. "Me! Me! Me!" they shouted.

"First up, we're gonna do a relay race!" Ryan announced. "Teams of four! Let's see who's the fastest!"

Mike leaned over to Donald. "We gotta join! It'll be fun!"

"Yeah, let's do it!" Donald replied, feeling pumped.

They quickly formed a team with Bella and Sarah. As they lined up for the race, Donald noticed Jake standing nearby, arms crossed and smirking. "You think you can win, Smith? Good luck!" he called out, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Just watch us!" Donald shot back, feeling the competitive fire inside him.

The race began, and the first runner took off. Bella was up first, sprinting down the track. She was fast! "Go, Bella!" Donald yelled, cheering her on. She reached the cone and turned around, tagging Mike.

"Let's go, Mike!" Donald shouted as Mike took off. He ran like the wind, and the crowd cheered. They were in the lead!

But then, disaster struck. Jake's team was catching up. "Come on, Jake!" someone yelled from his side. Donald felt the pressure.

As Mike tagged Donald, he sprinted with all his might. He could hear Jake's team right behind him. "You're not winning this, Smith!" Jake shouted.

Donald pushed harder, feeling like he was flying. He reached the finish line just as Jake was about to catch him. "YES!" he yelled, crossing the line first.

The crowd went wild! "Eagles! Eagles!" they chanted. Donald felt like a superstar.

"Not bad, Smith," Jake said, rolling his eyes. "But this isn't over."

Donald just smiled back, feeling proud. "Bring it on!"

After the race, everyone was laughing and celebrating. They took silly photos, jumping in the air and making funny faces. Bella wrapped her arms around Donald and squeezed him tight. "We did it! That was so much fun!"

Suddenly, Ryan jumped in again. "Alright, next up is a pie-eating contest!" he announced, grinning widely. "Who's brave enough to join?"

Donald raised his hand immediately. "I'm in!"

Bella laughed. "You're gonna regret that!"

As they lined up for the contest, Donald saw Jake again. "You think you can eat more pies than me, Smith? You're dreaming!" he taunted.

"Just watch me!" Donald replied, feeling confident.

The whistle blew, and they dug into the pies. Whipped cream flew everywhere! Donald stuffed his face, trying not to laugh. He could hear Bella cheering for him. "Go, Donald! You can do it!"

After a few minutes, Donald was covered in pie. "This is the best!" he shouted, trying to speak through the mess.

Finally, the contest ended, and Donald looked around. He was the last one standing. "I won!" he exclaimed, raising his hands in victory. The crowd cheered again, laughing at his pie-covered face.

"Okay, okay! You win this round!" Jake said, shaking his head with a grin. "But next time, I'll beat you!"

As the night went on, more games filled the air with laughter and fun. They played tug-of-war, and the Eagles dominated, pulling Jake's team across the line. Donald felt unstoppable.

Then, just as things were heating up, the lights flickered. A hush fell over the crowd. "What's going on?" Bella asked, looking around.

Suddenly, the power went out completely. The music stopped, and everyone was in darkness. "Uh-oh," Donald said, feeling a bit nervous.

"Don't worry! It's probably just a quick fix!" Ryan reassured everyone. But Donald could sense something was off.

A few moments later, the lights flickered back on, but they were dimmer. People murmured, confused. "What's happening?" someone asked.

Just then, Coach Harris stepped up to the mic. "Everyone, stay calm! We'll figure this out!" But his voice shook a little.

Suddenly, a loud crash echoed from outside. Everyone turned to look. "What was that?" Donald asked, feeling a chill run down his spine.

"I don't know, but it doesn't sound good," Bella said, her voice low.

Ryan nodded, looking serious. "Everyone, stay close. Let's check it out."

As they made their way outside, Donald felt a mix of excitement and fear. What could have caused that noise? The crowd gathered near the entrance, eyes wide.

Outside, they saw a group of people arguing. One of them was Coach Carter, the rival coach from Amazon City. "This isn't over!" he shouted, pointing angrily at Coach Harris.

"What do you mean?" Coach Harris replied, looking confused.

"I'm not letting this slide! You think you can just win and walk away?" Coach Carter yelled.

Donald felt his heart race. What was going on? This wasn't just a celebration anymore.

Bella squeezed his hand. "This is getting serious," she whispered.

Just then, Jake stepped forward, a sly smile on his face. "Looks like the fun's just starting!" he said, looking at Donald with a glint in his eye.

"Let's see what happens next," Donald said, feeling determined. The night was turning into something unexpected, and he wasn't backing down.

The victory celebration had taken a wild turn, and Donald knew they were in for an adventure. With Bella by his side, he was ready to face whatever came next.
