…
Arthur walked out of the room, his clothes clung to his body thanks to the shower he had taken.
'It will take a few more times before I finally get the smell out.'
He sighed, running his hand through his hair as he moved.
He arrived at a room and entered it.
'This place has been used recently."
He murmured.
"But the seals hasn't."
The window had been left open and dozens of papers were scattered on the desk, he took a deep breath as he went over the table, ignoring the unorganized state of things.
'A receipt.'
The first one was a receipt of the payments he had made.
'Drugs.'
All the transactions and payments that had been made concerning the drugs were there.
Arthur dropped it and picked up another one.
The shipments.
Where they had been shipped off to.
He had signed them, though it was hardly his signature.
Arthur picked up the next one.
'The same thing.'
It was only dated a little further.
He picked up another one, glancing at its contents for a new moments before throwing it away.
Every single last paper he had found was the same, the only difference being the dates.
When he was done he resigned to sitting on the chair.
"So this was what they meant."
He sighed again.
His mind backtracked to the conversation he had with Damien, as well as the one he had with Rosalyne.
The man, Damien had run away the moment he realized that he said something he shouldn't have.
Rosalyne on the other hand was eager to talk, but she was against speaking about her father.
An hour ago he realized that something must have happened, something bad, but now he was just realizing the magnitude of what he had done.
"The damn drug trade."
To think someone of his caliber could fall that low.
And there was a prickling feeling he had, one that told him that he hadn't even touched the surface of what had happened.
He had a feeling that just his involvement in the drug trade wasn't all. He had definitely done a lot more than that.
With a heavy heart he pushed all the papers onto the ground.
Arthur sat down on the chair, feeling a rush of wind from the open window.
He entered a contemplative state.
That was until his eyes wandered somewhere else.
'The desk.'
Arthur thought, his brows furrowing.
He could see tiny inscriptions on it, however he couldn't tell what they were. No matter how hard he squinted he was unable to make any sense of it.
'Strange. Very strange.'
'Should I use magic?'
He thought against it. At any chance it could vanish.
There were certain texts that would automatically erase themselves as soon as they came in contact with anything that was able to decipher them.
He had encountered this kind of situation many times in the past, so he knew what to do now.
Arthur calmly brought his hands to his pocket and fished out...
His glasses.
Glasses that had been gifted to him by someone special to him.
He wore them before focusing once more.
'Still nothing.'
He still couldn't see.
Arthur was about to take them off.
However...

A weird purple interface popped up, obscuring his vision.
He was startled to the point where he leaped out of his chair, his hand going to his waist in his usual manner.
But, the interface seemed to do nothing.
"What is this?"
Arthur wondered aloud as he stared at the screen.
It looked all too familiar for some reason, but he just couldn't place his finger on it.

Suddenly it clicked in him.
He realized he had seen something like this before.
"This kid."
The boy whom he had gotten the memories from, someone from a different world, a world where his world was just a game.
"So this is a system interface?"
Arthur noticeably calmed down.
Now that he knew what it was, he knew how to deal with it.

For a long moment Arthur stared at the screen in front of him, staring at the foreign information.
'Hollow one?'
He wondered why.
There was no title of his called "Hollow One", he had many, dozens of titles that the people knew him by.
But 'Hollow One' wasn't among them.
He dismissed the thought choosing to focus on the other things.
Frankly, he understood nothing of the 'concept', however he understood the bloodline limit.
The bloodline limit of the individual was a special ability that could appear after or during an awakening.
With the rarity of awakenings, those who awakened their bloodline limit were quite rare.
"So I have two?"
He mused, settling back into the screen.
The screen followed his field of vision.
He focused on the 'Honored One'.

"So that's where it comes from."
He had the ability to use magic without reciting chants, he only needed to say the name of the spell in his mind and configure the magic circuit. Even at that it barely took him some seconds depending on the level of the spell he used.
Arthur found it so easy that he could even move at his top speed easily while casting a spell.
"If I had to guess I would say that this was meant for Johnny Carter."
Arthur murmured.
The spectacles he had been gifted were nothing special, if anything they could only show the time.
Even then, he had cherished it.
Now this.... It could suddenly give him information about his so-called stats.
"Maybe I should see what I can do with it..."
Arthur murmured, mentally preparing himself for what he was about to do.
He had chosen to dismiss the matter of the rumors surrounding him for now, he would deal with them when Adrian and Celestine returned.
