Soon after they Departed jack went back to the shitty room he lives in.
Loe thought I feel a change in the way he looks at it, at first he didn't really care about how it looks or how rough it is.
It didn't matter to him because he is an addict. An addict is someone who gives his life for the thing his addicted to.
In life we are addicted to too many things maybe without us even noticing infact addiction is inevitable it is something you can't escape if you are living in this world sometimes addiction to the right thing with control is one of the best things that can happen to you but what jack has is an addiction to alcohol Wich is a way to scape from reality,it makes you stop thinking.
From my point of view: thinking is living if you stop thinking you stop living.
As the alcohol effects were going away jack said what happend? How did I end up here
It's been 8y since my father died what did I do in this 8 years it's all gone to waste.
Leo looked both with sympathy and sadness while watching jack crying his eyes out on the floor feeling regret for the time he wasted.
Leo: this is why alcohol is a poison for you because the moment the effects goes away you immediately face reality again this makes your brain question your actions then you start asking your self who's fault is it but there is no one but your self to blame.
That absolutely destroy your self confidence all of that makes you at the end
a slave to it. Forgetting your religion your faith and your life.
At the moment of regret you have two decision or two solution the first one is short term solution really easy to do just drink or do the thing you are addicted to Wich is going to make you feel good for a little bit of time then the regret comes back then you repeat in a infinite cycle, the second solution is the hard one: it is to stop the drinking or the thing you do.
To do that you will have to put effort,time,will power,being consistent,and more.
So no wonder most people choose the first one even though the second one end is redemption while the first one end is simply destruction.
Will jack destroy himself or redeem it.
