Chapter 5: Diamond God of War!
The thought of Karl plotting against her made Morgana furious, but there was nothing she could do. Earth was tens of millions of light-years away from the Styx Galaxy. Even if she wanted to tear Karl apart, she had no choice but to endure.
But soon, Morgana's attention returned to Tony.
A being capable of changing species at will? She couldn't wait to capture and study him.
> "Ato, do you need your Queen's help?" Morgana asked through dark communication.
In the midst of the smoky battlefield, Atrocitus emerged.
His demonic armor was cracked, and dark energy leaked from the wounds, making him look like a monster crawling out of hell. Even with his third-generation demon body, the recent explosion had left its mark.
> "No need, my Queen. I can handle him alone," Atrocitus replied in a deep, cold voice.
A terrifying glint flashed in his blood-red eyes.
He had decided—Tony must be crippled before being taken away.
---
Tony smirked as he studied Atrocitus.
> "Your skin's tougher than I expected. Even Heatblast's attack couldn't break you completely."
Atrocitus said nothing, but his killing intent was undeniable.
Tony knew that if he kept using Heatblast, he might not be able to end this fight quickly. It was time to use one of his strongest transformations.
With a flash of green light, Tony's body shifted and transformed—Heatblast was gone, replaced by Diamondhead.
Unlike the slimmer Heatblast, Diamondhead's build was large and powerful. His entire body was made of a translucent green crystalline structure, giving him an indestructible appearance.
But Diamondhead wasn't just about defense. His strength, speed, and attack power were all balanced, making him an all-around warrior.
Over the years, Tony had perfected his mastery over Diamondhead. This was a form he had absolute confidence in.
Seeing Tony transform yet again, Atrocitus became more cautious.
As Atrocitus prepared to attack, he suddenly realized he couldn't move his legs.
Looking down, he saw that green crystal had grown around his ankles, locking him in place.
> "Let's wrap this up. I don't have time to play with you," Tony said, his voice calm.
He raised his right arm, and the ground shook violently.
Three massive green crystal pillars—each dozens of meters long—rose from the earth and hurled themselves toward Atrocitus.
> "Pathetic tricks!" Atrocitus roared.
He swung his demonic sword, slashing through the oncoming crystal formations with a mighty strike. The shattered crystal pieces scattered around him, kicking up thick clouds of dust.
Using the momentary distraction, Atrocitus stomped hard and shattered the crystal around his feet.
Just as he was about to counterattack—
"Whoosh—!"
A green crystal chain shot through the smoke, wrapping tightly around Atrocitus's right arm.
At the other end, Tony grinned and yanked hard, pulling Atrocitus toward him.
As Atrocitus was dragged forward, Tony's right arm shifted into a sharp crystalline blade, aimed straight at Atrocitus's face.
Sensing danger, Atrocitus quickly raised his sword to block.
"Clang—!!"
The crystal blade clashed against the demonic sword, sending a shower of sparks flying.
Even though Atrocitus had blocked the attack, he was now dangerously close to Tony.
Atrocitus, an expert in close combat, knew this was his chance.
He twisted his blade, deflecting Tony's attack, and immediately launched a deadly counterattack—his demonic sword flashing toward Tony's chest.
Atrocitus's swordsmanship was masterful.
Each strike came faster and faster, and soon, he had Tony completely on the defensive.
Morgana's first general had fought in wars for tens of thousands of years. His battle experience was unmatched. Even Tony, with all his abilities, was struggling.
But Tony wasn't just a warrior—he was a melee mage.
His fighting style didn't rely purely on strength. He used his abilities creatively.
With a thought, his arms shifted into massive crystalline warhammers.
Seeing this, Atrocitus braced himself and swung his sword.
"BANG!!"
The sheer force of Tony's strike sent Atrocitus flying back over ten meters.
Before Atrocitus could recover, Tony activated his true power.
The ground shook violently, and a massive wave of green crystal spread outward, covering a hundred-meter radius.
Within seconds, dozens of crystal structures formed across the battlefield.
Tony used molecular reconstruction to transform these crystals into weapons.
Suddenly, a dozen crystalline Gatling guns emerged—each one aimed directly at Atrocitus.
> "Fire."
The rotating barrels unleashed a storm of crystal bullets, each bullet sharp and deadly.
Atrocitus's eyes widened.
> "He can create weapons out of thin air? What kind of ability is this?!"
Knowing he couldn't block them all, Atrocitus flapped his wings hard, launching himself into the sky to avoid the onslaught.
But Tony wasn't letting him escape that easily.
Using mental control, he adjusted the angle of the crystal Gatling guns and continued firing.
Atrocitus dodged skillfully, weaving through the air.
He had already figured out Tony's weakness.
> "He has to focus on controlling his crystal constructs. If I can break his concentration, I can take him down in an instant!"
With that thought, Atrocitus suddenly dived downward, flying toward Tony at full speed—his demonic sword ready to strike.
But Tony had anticipated this.
> "You think I'm that easy to take down?"
The entire battlefield was covered in Tony's crystal domain.
Atrocitus had entered Tony's territory.
As Atrocitus rushed in for the kill—
"BOOM—!!"
The ground split apart, and a massive crystal hand shot out, grabbing Atrocitus mid-air.
Atrocitus's eyes widened in shock.
> "Damn it!"
He struggled violently, but the crystal hand's grip was too strong.
Tony raised his right hand, and from the battlefield, a giant crystal spike emerged—aimed directly at Atrocitus's heart.
This would be the finishing blow.
But just before Tony could strike—
"BOOM—!!!"
A massive demonic claw came crashing down on Tony from above.
Tony had no time to react. He crossed his arms to defend himself.
"BANG—!!!"
The impact sent Tony flying backward.
He crashed into the ground dozens of meters away, barely managing to steady himself.
Luckily, Diamondhead's body was incredibly durable.
Otherwise, that hit could have broken his bones.
Shaking off the pain, Tony looked up.
Morgana was hovering in the sky, her demonic wings spread wide.
> "So, the Queen herself finally steps in."
She had officially joined the battle.
