Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Luck? No, it's my faith in RNGESUS!

Sorry for Delay!

____________________________________

I, who had never been one for prayers, couldn't help but feel moved at a moment like that. RNGesus, as if it were the last line of defense in my desperate journey, was now my only hope. I clasped my hands together, closed my eyes, and made my silent prayer. Not to a god of any religion, but to the one who, to me, embodied the force of chaos and luck – RNGesus!

And so, with the purest faith I had ever experienced, I rolled my first ticket.

==========================

Rolling...

An Epic Trait!

|[Master Swordsman] (Sakamoto Days)|

|Rarity: Epic|

A skill that grants you the same swordsmanship techniques as Takamura from Sakamoto Days. Your Iaijutsu techniques are now at an unparalleled level.

==========================

Okay, this is good... I think?

Master Swordsman. I wasn't expecting something this strong right off the bat. The name Takamura brought a wave of confidence. The guy was, at the very least, incredible when it came to katana skills. And of course, my familiarity with the blade had always been an advantage. If I had to pick up my katana and fight again, now, with the level of technique Takamura possessed, I would have a clear advantage.

But there was always a downside—obviously, I would need a katana or any sword; without it, this ability was useless!

Worrisome? Yes, absolutely. But I still have 2 Tickets. Please, RNGESUS, give me luck!

==========================

Rolling...

A rare ability!

|[Overclocking]|

|Rarity: Rare|

Exceed your typical limits for various effects, such as accelerating sensory awareness and thought processing, allowing for extremely fast movement, speeding up or slowing down your own metabolism, triggering much greater muscle output, forcing your body to heal or produce substances (such as blood) at an enhanced rate, and so on.

==========================

Okay, this... This is interesting. An ability that promises to be a true double-edged sword. I looked at the description with a mix of fascination and skepticism. "Overclocking," as the name suggested, was something that would push my body beyond its normal limits, accelerating functions, reactions, and even metabolism. That meant I could increase my physical strength, speed, and even heal injuries in a fraction of the time. It was tempting, I won't deny it.

But, like any gift, there was a price. I knew the human body wasn't designed to endure such extremes for long periods. Prolonged use could mean serious damage. The risk of exceeding the brain's oxygen limits, causing irreparable muscle damage, or even heart failure from overload was a cost I couldn't ignore. It was a monumental power, yes, but it could be a ticking time bomb waiting to explode if I didn't learn to use it wisely.

I knew that this ability would be great in emergency situations when the need for an immediate boost was more urgent than maintaining my long-term health. Perhaps in a decisive fight or when I needed to escape from something or someone. But for something lasting… it would be a poison disguised as medicine. A tool for a desperate warrior, not for someone who needed to stay standing to face the future.

So, I take a deep breath, absorbing the weight of this decision. If used correctly, this could be a real advantage. A trump card that could save my life in crucial moments, but also a constant risk that would require extreme caution.

==========================

Your Tickets are not over yet, but do you wish to exchange this final Ticket for another of Random Rarity and receive Penalties for more rolls?

|Yes| |No|

==========================

I looked at the screen and reflected. One more chance, one more risk, one more choice. A choice that could give me something even better or, who knows, make things worse. But in the end, what did I have to lose? I had been playing with luck from the start, and the only way to move forward was to move forward. That was all that remained.

What else could I do? I was trapped in this cycle, in this game where my only hope was chance.

Let's go with yes.

==========================

[Great Yandere Curse]

You will be targeted by the most famous and well-known Yandere in the world. You will encounter her, and it will be anything but pleasant for you.

A great curse! You receive a random roll!

[Rare Trait - Sixth Sense]Allows for an instinctive reaction to danger, regardless of its severity.

Or

[Rare Trait - Martial Arts Master]Allows you to learn any type of martial art through training, increasing your talent in martial arts to a master's level.

==========================

Yandere? Is this serious?

My eyes fixated on those words with a mix of disbelief and concern. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst possible curses. No matter what I did, at some point, I would cross paths with this so-called Yandere, and from the threatening tone of the message, it seemed that things wouldn't end well for me.

What bothered me the most was the uncertainty. Who exactly was this Yandere? What kind of world was I about to be thrown into? If it was a relatively peaceful setting, maybe I could avoid the worst, but if it was a brutal universe… well, I might be completely doomed.

I let out a deep sigh, trying not to panic. Worse than the curse itself was the fact that I had no control over it. I didn't even know when or where she would appear. All I could do was accept this ticking time bomb and move forward.

Now, back to what mattered: choosing my ability. Both were undoubtedly useful, but they had limitations that couldn't be ignored.

The "Master of Martial Arts" offered an enhanced talent for learning any fighting style, raising my proficiency to the level of a true master, but it wasn't instantaneous. I would still need to train, study, and refine each technique. It would be a long-term advantage, but in the beginning, I wouldn't gain significant benefits.

On the other hand, the "Sixth Sense" allowed me to react to danger instinctively, without needing to perceive what was happening. This trait would function like a natural radar, an automatic alert whenever something threatened my life. Even better: it required no training or complex conditions for activation.

For someone like me, who had no idea where I would be in the next moments, the Sixth Sense seemed like the most sensible choice. If this new world was dangerous, I would need something immediate to keep me alive.

My mind was made up.

I would choose the Sixth Sense.

Now, let's go once more.

==========================

[Great Curse of the Worst Start]

You will have the worst start of all in the other world you go to.

A great curse! You receive a roll!

[Rare Power – Attraction and Repulsion]

Grants control over gravitational forces, allowing you to attract and repel anything while using yourself as the epicenter of gravity.

Or

[Rare Power – Space Constructions]

Allows you to transform space into different shapes and objects with various levels of detail and permanence, shaping them using simple images from your mind.

==========================

Mmmm... This made me feel uneasy.

Gravitational power and spatial power… Both had absurd potential, and the choice was anything but simple.

"Space Constructions" seemed extremely versatile, a skill that would allow me to create shapes and objects from space itself. With enough creativity, I could forge weapons, shields, maybe even entire structures. This would complement the Swordmaster trait very well, giving me access to blades and tools no one else had—an arsenal molded by my imagination.

But then there was "Attraction and Repulsion." Gravitational control. It wasn't just a powerful ability—it was a fundamental force of the universe. If mastered to the extreme, it could even allow me to manipulate space-time. Gravity was one of the great forces of existence, and possessing such power would put me one step ahead in terms of versatility and raw strength.

The ability to attract and repel anything using gravity was simply too tempting to ignore. Its applications in combat were nearly limitless—deflecting projectiles, pulling enemies into an attack, repelling blows, enhancing my own mobility… Not to mention more advanced interactions, like creating my own gravitational fields or manipulating the density around me.

It was a tough choice, but in the end, gravity spoke louder.

I would go with "Attraction and Repulsion."

Now... What would my Ticket have in store for me next?

==========================

Rolling...

An Uncommon Trait!

|[Married Woman Devourer]||Rarity: Uncommon|

Married women will fall in love with you and your beauty. You must take action and claim them for yourself.

==========================

No. Hell no, there's no way I'm keeping this!

Change it now!

==========================

Do you really wish to exch—

==========================

Yes.

==========================

Milf Curse Affliction

You will feel attracted to older women and desire to have them for yourself.

An unusual advantage!

[Divine Touch]

|Rarity: Uncommon|

Causes pleasure to women and pain to men when touched with your hand.

==========================

Which god did I piss off?

I'm not a pervert. In my life as an assassin, I couldn't—

I already have combat abilities, but I've been cursed with the worst possible start, and I still have a Yandere on my tail! I don't need more problems—and this? This is definitely a problem.

If I'm going to receive something, let it be something useful!

A trade, system. This is my last request.

==========================

Alright, executing final trade.

==========================

The relief was instant when that ridiculous curse disappeared before me. I'm not the type of person who's into older or married women, much less someone who wants multiple women at the same time. Besides, I already have a crazy one chasing after me, so the last thing I need right now is more complications.

Speaking of which... This Yandere curse.

It forces me to be the target of the most famous Yandere in the world, right? That means I have two very clear options:

Stay with her or, kill her.

Simple as that.

I know what a Yandere is. And only these two options could be viable.

==========================

Main Curse - The Manipulator

You will be the one pulling all the strings behind the scenes—protagonists, supporting characters, antagonists, all will be in your hands. Your actions will inevitably lead to complex manipulations, shaping the world's fate at your will... or your despair.

A legendary advantage!

[Yamato]

|Rarity: Legendary|

Allows the summoning and use of the sword that separates men from demons, Yamato.

==========================

Reality is a cosmic joke.

Honestly, after all of this, I should be outraged, but instead, I just let out a heavy sigh. Considering the reward that came with it, maybe it's better to just accept it. There's no point in going against the inevitable.

I won't risk anything further. I'll keep what I already have.

The Yamato was a legendary sword, and that meant I now had my own weapon, completely removing the restrictions of the Master Swordsman skill. Before, I needed a blade to use my true potential. Now, that need had become irrelevant. I possessed the ultimate blade.

And, considering the title of this sword... "The Separator of Men and Demons."

This wasn't just a beautiful name. It was a title filled with meaning. A weapon capable of dividing realities, of cutting not just flesh, but concepts. This was a power far beyond what I could ever have imagined obtaining right away.

If this is how the game wanted to arm me, then so be it.

==========================

Are you ready?

==========================

I closed my eyes for a moment, organizing my thoughts. I had everything I needed to survive.

Combat capability? Yes.

Skills to face any danger? Yes.

A weapon good enough? Yes.

If I wasn't thrown straight into the middle of an absolute hell right away, I'd probably survive.

Probably.

I grabbed that small margin of safety and made my decision.

Let's go.

==========================

Initiating Transmigration...

==========================

But to where?

And everything went black.

__________________________________________

...Ah. What a headache.

The annoying pulsation echoed inside my skull like incessant hammer blows. My body was stiff, heavy. I felt an uncomfortable pressure in my arms, which seemed incapable of moving, while my legs, surprisingly, were still free. But, as I attempted any movement, I realized I was kneeling.

The air around me was cold, thick with moisture. A cold wind whispered through the room, bringing with it a metallic smell mixed with something old and musty, perhaps rust or dried blood. My vision was blurry, and the darkness of the environment didn't help at all.

I took a deep breath, trying to regain control of the situation. I forced my muscles to respond, but I could only move my heels slightly from side to side. Any further attempt to move was thwarted.

My attention shifted to my arms. Something was holding them tightly. When I focused my vision, I realized I was handcuffed. Thick chains connected the iron bracelets to hooks embedded in the stone walls of the cell. It wasn't just a simple restriction—my fingers were forced to remain clenched, and my forearms were uncomfortably pressed by the cuffs.

"What situation have I gotten myself into?"

The thought came naturally as I looked around. The room was dark, damp, and cold, with solid stone walls. The only exit seemed to be a reinforced metal door directly in front of me. There were no windows, no cracks through which I could peek outside.

My position was uncomfortably similar to that of a crucifixion, but with a significant difference: I was kneeling.

==========================

Special Prison for Villains and Criminals, Tartarus.

==========================

Mmmmm... What a complicated situation.

I did a test.

"Am I able to use my powers now?"

==========================

No, functions like Powers and Abilities are deactivated due to the Quirk Suppressors present in the room.

==========================

Quirk Suppressors? This information only made everything even stranger. I didn't know exactly what that term meant, but from the context, I could already assume enough—some kind of technology was suppressing my abilities.

This explained why I felt so powerless. No energy was flowing through my body. None of my natural talents or acquired abilities were active. Nothing. It was as if I were an ordinary person.

This situation was completely unusual. And confusing.

Maybe holding onto that curse of the Worst Start was truly a terrible idea. But at the same time, I knew there was always a way out. Always.

I just needed to find it.

I took a deep breath.

"Summon."

I immediately felt the air around me distort. The pressure in the environment grew denser, as if something was bending reality around me. An invisible force took over the space, making the air vibrant and heavy.

"Yamato."

Flash!

A light cut through the darkness. Suddenly, a familiar weight rested in my hand. A katana with a shining silver blade. Its scabbard rested firmly in my other hand.

The simple touch of the Yamato's hilt triggered a change in me. My breath immediately calmed. My heart, once racing, slowed down.

Now, I was capable of cutting anything.

Slash!

With a single strike, the chains were torn apart, the metal breaking as if it were paper.

Now, I was free.

"...Ah. If I can't use my powers and abilities, I'll use my traits." I drew Yamato from the scabbard and cut through the door as if it were paper.

And soon, a deafening alarm rang out.

Let the prison break begin.
