..........................................…
31 July 1942
I am meditating under a pine tree in the backyard that is much older than our house. My father often joked that this tree is the real owner of the house and we are just guests. Apparently, when my father built the house, he didn't cut it down because it was twice as big and old as any tree in the neighbourhood. Instead, he put a table and chairs in its shade and made it a nice place to spend time. It is now my most popular meditation spot. Since the day I discovered that being close to nature made it easier to clear my mind, I had been meditating under these trees watching Hagrid grow.
Suddenly I was awakened by two letters that fell on my face, both from Hogwarts. I opened the first letter with excitement.
' HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHERY AND WİZARDRY
School Headmaster Armando Dippet
Dear Mr Hagrid
On 18 July, your request for a change in the elective courses you have chosen for the 3rd year has been evaluated by us and accepted. In response to this request, Divination has been removed from your curriculum and replaced with Arithmanship and the study of ancient runes.
Albus Dumbledore
Deputy Headmaster.'
After reading the letter, I felt a sense of relief and great joy. I honestly thought there was a chance that my request would be rejected. Hagrid was not untalented, but he was not interested in almost any subject except magical creatures. This meant that all his grades were average or below average. It made me think that the school might not accept the request of such a student to suddenly drop an easy elective and take the two most difficult electives. If my request had been rejected. When the school year started, I would do my best to meet with Professor Dumbledore and persuade him. Thank Merlin, that wouldn't be necessary.
I quickly opened the second letter.

When I looked up from the letter, I saw the owl perched on the branches of the pine tree. With the effect of the good news I had just received, I turned to the owl with a cheerful little smile and started talking.
'Are you hungry? Do you want a snack?'
I literally felt the wave of joy emanating from the owl. After singing as if saying yes, it landed on my arm and we headed towards the kitchen together.
About 30 minutes later, a strange scene was taking place in the kitchen, where an owl was hungrily eating the snacks placed on the table and a huge adult-sized boy sitting across from it was intuitively drinking his hot chocolate and thinking.
After finishing my hot chocolate, I finally finished the owl snacks I had given him and watched me silently. I turned to the owl.
'Do do that, do you want to rest a bit more or are you going back to Hogwarts right away. Stay as long as it takes.' Before I finished the last sentence, I knew that the owl would reject this offer.
Puffing his chest proudly, the owl hooted a few times. I have no idea how I realised this, but it was as if it was saying. I'm a proud Hogwarts owl, I'll never get tired of this little journey. I'll be on my way back to work in a jiffy.
Before I received the gift of the voice of nature, I would never have thought that animals could have so much emotion and thought and be able to communicate to such an extent. But here I am, talking and chatting with an owl as if it were a human being.
'Then have a good journey, my friend. May no storm get in your way.'
The owl hooted a few times as if to say goodbye. It flew out of the kitchen window.
First of all, not all animals are as intelligent as the owl, and although some of them have no problem perceiving some emotions, in some of them these emotions do not go beyond the most basic emotions such as hunger, fear and so on. Plants were no different from these animals. I could feel it when they were dehydrated or when they received insufficient sunlight, but nothing more. Secondly, my communication with them was mostly emotional and telepathic. I could not speak a different language like parseltongue. I could understand what they meant and they understood what I meant in the same way. While I was thinking about my ability, I returned to the real world with bowtruckle climbing on my shoulder and poking my cheek.
'How are you, Faye? I hope you're well.'
I'd found Faye in the pine tree in the back garden a week ago. I didn't remember a Bowtruckle living there before. I knew that Bowtruckles were born from the branches of trees that were saturated with enough magical energy to become wand trees, which meant that the old pine tree in our yard was now saturated with enough magical energy to make a wand.
Faye nodded as if to say she was fine. When she said she wanted a snack, it creaked like a tree bending and twisting.
'Oh, so you want a snack. Or are you jealous of our owl friend?'
Faye waved her arms and bounced on my shoulder as she squeaked furiously.
The exact translation was, I think, something like.
'How could I, mighty and wise bowtruckle Faye, be jealous of an owl' and she continued in a thinner and fainter voice. 'Only those snacks looked delicious.'
After a loud laugh I handed Faye, who was only getting angrier, an owl snack.
'No more, don't forget how much your stomach hurt the other day because you ate too many snacks.'
Now I remember that bowtruckle feeds on insects that live in trees but our little friend here had developed a unique taste for owl snacks and had finally found the snack packet two days ago and gorged himself on it. She had grumped and complained to me all day about the enormous stomach ache that followed.
I ignored Faye as she angrily demanded more and started walking to the basement. It was time for my daily spell work. School shopping would have to wait until tomorrow. When I got to the basement, I quickly made my way to my magic area and started practising wandless spells. I had made a lot of progress compared to when I first started practising spells. Meditation had helped a lot in this. I discovered that I could feel my magic power more clearly when I completely cleared my mind and focused on it, then I suspended my wandless magic practice for a while and focused on my oclumancy practice, which allowed me to complete the 1st layer in about a week. After that, wandless and wordless magic became very easy thanks to my control over my magic power. I could now cast all first and second year spells wordlessly, and I could cast all charms without a wand, except for some of the more difficult transfiguration work, but no matter what I did, I couldn't reach the power I could with a wand, which explained why even great wizards like Dumbledore still used wands. Wands were not only an auxiliary tool for control, but also an amplifier that strengthened the effect of all the spells the wizard cast. After thinking for a while, I started to practice the summoning spell. I was trying to summon my coat, which was upstairs in my wardrobe.
I lost track of time as the words Accio, Accio echoed in my ears. So the day turned into night and it was time for me to eat.
