Prologue
"Resi's pieces one, Resi's pieces two, Resi's pieces…. THREE!"
"Hahaha!!!" Daddy!!! You found me! You found me!"
Picking me up off the ground, my dad swung me in the air around and around! He had found his Resi's pieces and now we were going to enjoy small bites of chocolate! As we sat in the courtyard, I could see my beautiful mother smiling that beautiful smile she always had.
"Daddy, can you take me to my dance lessons tomorrow?"
Smiling down at me, my father simply nodded. Just then, my mother walked over holding a tray filled with tiny sandwiches (my absolute favorite!).
"Honey how many pieces of candy did you give her? Don't spoil her lunch!"
I could see my dad laughing and holding his hands up in protest, I had to make sure he wouldn't get into trouble.
"But my lunch isn't spoiled mommy! I want a tiny sandwich!"
Of course, shortly after I complained about my tummy hurting from all the candy and sandwiches, to this, my parents just laughed as my father swooped me up to carry me home….
What a great memory...
