#Author notes:- Vol2 [The Hunters and the Prey]
Yay! This Volume is finally Over!!
I will tell the truth, I had no idea what was happening to me in my brain when writing this Volume and the same with this author's note. So I will write my true feelings.
It took really a long time to finish the Volume, it's also been more than two months since I first started writing my story. Feels like I have come a long way since then. My writing has improved a lot, and it still keeps improving. I still have a lot to learn though~
But let's talk about this Volume now. The star happens in a new place where Asher again is alone, this time he truly is all by himself. With no one to help he will need to take care of himself.
The story has as I have said before focused on Asher's character on how he perceives things and I feel I could have done better when writing those parts. Asher meets a kind Man named Greth who is almost like his grandfather, not similar but just alike. But things took a dark turn with his sudden betrayal, It may feel abrupt to see that but I have given lots of hints.
This at least taught Asher he could not trust everyone he met, and his mental condition deteriorated. He has realized he is not good in the head, something he has been ignoring all this time. You all should have noticed that after the Greth incident, Asher was much more talkative and open. This was his way of fighting his madness, instead of suppressing himself he was trying to open up to others, if he wanted to laugh he would, if he wanted to cry he would cry and not hide anything.
At least that's what my plan was, I don't know how it worked out since no one seems to comment. [=_= ]
Oh! One guy did comment at the end of Volume 1 he seems to have enjoyed my small work, so if you ever reach this part, thank you for reading this. Please leave your comments to let me know what you think about this Volume.
Anyway, let's keep going I won't write too much here.
The potions are a mystery, their true form is yet to be revealed, and the most important characters have been introduced. Some were hinted at while others were directly shown. One such example is Lost Prince, Victor etc.
I enjoyed writing the most was Asher's Dream, Antra Watch on Door, Morgana Final Blow and The Past of Victor. What moments did all of you enjoy make sure to tell me.
These notes are more like a way for me to rant about what I thought while writing the Volume. And let me tell you, I thought nothing, I had a basic plot line and mind map, but I threw all of that by the time we entered the Tunnel Act.
This Volume was supposed to have 120 chapters at least and it was planned, but I realized in between that the theme wouldn't match so I decided it in two halves.
The first half was completed with this.
Now let's talk about Volume 3 which is about to come, from the name [Song of Forgotten Stories] You can expect lots of lore and deep world-building, this Volume will mainly focus on what the world has been going through, how the characters face it, what's their view over changes, and what kind of history the world I wrote has.
And I think this Volume will be one of my favorites even in the future.
Why you ask? Because it has so many cool moments to write!!
Asher sadly doesn't have any flashy skill... yet! So I don't like writing his fights, but on the other hand, the fights of Morgana and the characters I have planned are so interesting to write!! I can't help but think about it all day.
This Volume is like the second half of vol2 but it will be longer as I have now planned many side plots and some of the plots left in vol1 will also come forward.
I won't spoil it, but please look forward to it!!
The next Volume will start at the same time as always.
Thank you,
Have a nice day!!
