Some time passed.
On 14-15 August, the declaration of Independence happened.
The first session of Constituent Assembly in independent India happened on 20th August. In which the current governor general, Mountbatten, was stripped of all his powers and remained in just a ceremonial role.
The most important agenda was then adoption of symbols like national flag, emblem and such. And integration of Princely States. No one really had any opposition on such matters.
The separatists that remained in India even after getting Pakistan kept crying about minority rights.
And on 21st August, Saraswati decided to take control of the discussion.
"So, it seems that many people don't have any vision on what's more important. It's India. A secular country. Meaning every community will have the same rights and will be under same laws.
That's the definition of secularism. Not giving some community the special rights and privileges, or stripping of the rights of women and children just because they belong to a different community. You have a Pakistan next door. I am sure they will take you guys in."
Unlike Nehru, she didn't have the time for nonsense and diplomacy against people who didn't deserve diplomacy.
"Hey-!"
"No shouting in Parliament. You are ruining the decorum and wasting everyone's time. Every second wasted means more loss to the country.
Anyway, unlike you, I have already prepared a draft for one of the most important thing aside from agriculture, finance and military.
Education.
Mr Speaker, can I present my draft?"
"Yes."
She took out a 50 page long draft regarding India's education policy from now on.
"While the printer guy will give everyone the copies, I will start reading and explaining the prelude. Then I will go over the main points.
So, first of all, we will discuss why education is important, and which kind of education is important.
I am reading a summary of the writings and words of one of the greatest thief in the history of the world.
He is, of course, British.
Macaulay, who was once the viceroy of India under British colonial rule.
At that time, India's literacy rate was atleast more than 95%. And England's was less than 20.
So, he introduced the education system of a backwater country that doesn't have a language of its own even now. English, for a fact, is a German language.
We, as a fact, have thousands of languages that our ancestors developed.
Macaulay rewrote Indian historical achievements.
The entire number system, including natural numbers, whole numbers, integers, rational, irrational, everything was independently discovered in India.
British Education just left 0 for India, and credited everything as 'Arabic'.
Calculus was not discovered by Newton. Neither gravity. Madhav from Kerala region of India made several calculus equations atleast a century before Newton was born. Though I am not going to discredit him in the development of calculus and gravitational equations, I am not going to allow him to be credited to its development.
There are many instances in British books that say that Galileo told that earth is not flat. That some sailor proved that it is not flat.
In India, there has never been a single instance of any flat-earther. The only thing is that the sailor deserves credit to sail across the world to prove a point in the most brute force possible physical way.
Likewise, there are thousands of instances of rewritten accomplishments. Even a basic theorem like Pythagoras Theorem.
Then, there's the constant propaganda that Macaulay created to 'make Indians British in mind'.
The nonsense Aryan-Invasion theory? Dividing Indians into North and South?
Sone sort of Proto-European language which created Sanskrit?
That's a plain lie, with no evidence to back up.
Instead, from the texts of battle of 10 Kings, it's a text-based evidence that actually, people migrated OUT of India instead of the other way round.
And I have conducted genetic tests as well.
The so called 'Aryan Invaders' and 'Dravidians' are too close genetically. So much so that the 'Aryans' that tgey called a European race, is far removed genetically.
This tells that actually, the migrants from India and Africa settled down in Europe a very long time later than they left.
There is a lot of propaganda in the inferior British Education system, which will be completely removed.
And the British Education system destroyed our Indian system of Gurukuls, then made Christian Convent Schools with the money they looted from us, and then used the same money to brainwash us.
A lot of this happened and is still happening in Portuguese occupied Goa which I think should be freed within this month, and North East. They have destroyed Naga culture."
"Anyway, aside from that, there will be a compulsory basic education policy, which will aim to give basic education like counting, reading and writing, basic rights and responsibilities, basic knowledge of laws, and the basic forms of propagandas that are used.
A democracy is useless if the voters are not aware that they are being used under propaganda.
And because we need to address this brainwashing issue that had enslaved us for centuries, the Central Board of Education(CDE), will be the only publisher of the main subject books across the country. Be it for a private school or government school.
The state boards will then have the state books aside from the main books like language, geography and history of the state, etc.
We don't know how many languages will be there, so for now, I have already prepared the books from Kindergarten-1 to Class 10th, and Maths, Physics and Chemistry for class 11th to 13th in India English, which I say is 'Inglish'. I need some scholars from the different languages to do the translation in Sanskrit, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and whatever the official languages will be decided.
The language issue will be discussed later in detail, but I favour Sanskrit for Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and other technical subjects so that people all over the country can easily communicate their ideas. Everyone will need to atleast learn two languages. One you speak, and one technical language, for which I think Sanskrit is the best, but can be discussed in another session regarding languages.
Religious Schools can't be called schools and their degree will not be worth anything-"
At that, many people started shouting.
She sighed and pointed at Maulana Azad.
"Mr Speaker, what are you doing. These people are not maintaining decorum. I will give them the chance to explain their argument in Against."
"Everyone quiet! Everyone will get the chance to speak."
"As I was saying, religious schools will hold no educational value. Because 99% of them don't teach anything of value. And we will learn unfiltered truth about every religion in 8th grade's History chapter 17 anyway.
Maulana Azad, who Mr Nehru was adamant about establishing as the Education Minister, how about we have a debate on educational things? I was raised in a muslim household like you. I also had homeschooling until I went to university.
Are you up for it?"
"Sure."
"If you were the Education Minister as Mr Nehru wanted, who is an unelected leader who became Prime Minister due to Gandhiji's recommendation alone, would you have included the Direct Action Day Genocide in our History books? It's reason, who started it, and such things?"
"Of course."
Saraswati raised her eyebrow at the balant lie. Her previous life's self didn't learn about things without the internet. So probably...
"In which grade?"
"12th."
She scoffed. Of course.
"You do realise that almost nobody except those who want to become teachers or history movie adaptations will have any job prospects, therefore most kids won't even choose History as a subject at that stage?
In which class are you suggesting students should learn Independence Movement and the creation of Pakistan? 12th?"
"No. Those topics should be covered starting from around 8th standard. But Direct Action Day will be too graphic for children."
"So do you plan to place Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, 1857 War of Independence, and especially Red Fort Trial because they are too graphic for children?"
"Well, Jallianwala Bagh Massacre is very important-"
"And Direct Action Day is as important. It is a reminder that India suffered because of traitors inside. Bengal Famine is also very graphic.
Moms would run opium on their kids' lips so that they wouldn't feel hungry. Some wells are still filled to the brim with corpses.
You are underestimating kids. They have seen worse since infants unlike us privileged folks.
This is why Education is needed. For everyone to know the truth, especially our future generations. So that history wouldn't repeat again.
And this is how Education is needed. Unfiltered, raw and brutal truths. Not cherry picking what you like and what you don't like, and placing things you don't like in corners where most people will not read them."
