Chapter 11 - Reactions

Her fainting inside the parliament led to a lot of stir.

The doctor said that she looked like she hasn't eaten or drunk for atleast 2-3 weeks. She was immediately led to her mansion and her personal doctor now took care of her.

The realisation dawned upon everyone that not only she has actually been fasting, but has also been working without letting it come in the way.

Sardar Patel, the Vice PM and head of the drafting committee, managed to pass 'EqualLaws Act' to ensure that everyone has the same laws regardless of gender, caste, religion or any other matter, aside from difference in state and reservation for the poorest of the poor.

Realising that now they will not have separate laws for them, like laws for marriage, inheritance, Waqf, etc., another wave of migration to Pakistan, this time from all parts of India started.

With this, came riots. Many even tried to break into Saraswati's mansion and set it on fire, but since she knew that she is a very big target, she has made preparations beforehand.

Snipers, took out the terrorists, and smoke bombs which cause temporary paralysis, tear gas, water jets, and high voltage electric fencing, all were in place.

But, someone still managed to throw a bomb inside the walls.

It's a good thing that she had already been moved via tunnels to a bunker under the playground of Saraswati Vidyalay, which is close to the mansion.

To ensure her safety, the newspapers she has bought behind the scenes long ago spread the news, 'Bombing by Pakistani terrorists inside Saraswati Mansion! Saraswati Singh dead?'

This further intensified the riots and migration.

Pakistan issue a sentence against India for threatening Muslims, and claimed that Jammu and Kashmir and Junagadh are its part.

They now started asking for plebiscites instead of royals signing Instrument of Ascension.

India ignored Pakistan's demand, obviously.

UK did not want to get involved, so Pakistan decided to move to UN.

But, just then, Gandhi who was fasting to pressure the government to stop the migration of muslims to Pakistan, and pressuring the muslims to accept the Equal Laws Act, a protester alongside him, Muhammad Khan shot him on the reason that 'Gandhi is against Muslims'.

Assassination of Gandhi led to UN to reject Pakistan's request for interference.

All minorities from Pakistan also started migrating to India because of even worse worse one-sided oppression and genocides.

13 days after fainting, Saraswati finally woke up.

And realising that another big wave of migration has started again, Gandhi has gotten assassinated, and the riots has intensified more, her face was grim.

Riots... just how to deal with this barbaric practice...

"Don't take more stress. The liquids have been administered to you, so for a few days, eat only plain, liquid Khichdi."

"Yeah..."

The future has changed too much. Will it be as bad or less bad future than her previous life, only time will tell that.
