Orion's Room - Days Before the Trip
Months had passed since the conference, and the departure date for Planet Pandemonium was approaching. Orion sat on the edge of his bed, watching all the information displayed about Planet Pandemonium on his smart chip. His eyes were particularly fixed on the sections about treasures and ancient artifacts. He had read about the intricate traps guarding them, the rare herbs that required specific methods for harvesting, and the weapons hidden in secret realms. The maps and 3D images intrigued him incredibly; of course, there wasn't a map of the entire planet, but he only saw small regions to feed his curiosity. He was thinking deeply about his needs for the upcoming trip, his mind filled with images of potential treasures.
Orion (to himself): Well, the journey will take twenty days, and then I'll be there for years... food, water, basic medicines... those pills I asked Mom for will be essential, especially with the potential poisons on the planet. But the most important thing is a fast and powerful means of transportation.
Orion remembered the old tailor who had tailored his elegant suit for the conference. He decided to visit him again, this time with more specific requests.
Orion (to himself): A robe suitable for combat and stealth, and that can withstand harsh weather conditions, but it also needs to be light, I don't want it to hinder my movement while searching for treasures.
The next day, Orion headed to the old tailor's workshop. Upon entering, he saw him sewing with incredible speed. His hands moved with unimaginable quickness, as if playing a complex musical instrument.
Orion: What mastery! I never imagined tailoring could be like this.
The old tailor noticed his presence, stopped working, and bowed respectfully.
Old Tailor: Master Orion, what an honor to receive you in my humble workshop. How can I assist you? Did you find your suit suitable?
Orion: The suit was perfect, thank you. But this time I need a special robe for the trip to Planet Pandemonium. A robe suitable for combat and stealth, and that can withstand harsh weather conditions, but most importantly, it needs to be equipped with multiple hidden inner pockets. A long black coat with a hood and high collar, and a strong belt to hang small bags from. And black gloves and high-necked boots. Oh, and make a huge order for me, I'll need a lot of them there.
Old Tailor: I understand, Master. I will start working immediately. It will be ready on time. He didn't need to take Orion's measurements again because he remembered them from the last time.
Departure Day
A sleek black spaceship was waiting in the courtyard. Orion's friends stood beside it: Flora, Lisandra, Xander, and Mark. They looked worried and sad.
Flora: Orion, be careful. Pandemonium seems like a very dangerous place, full of treasure hunters thirsty for trouble.
Lisandra: We'll miss you so much, Orion. Who will help me train?
Xander: Don't worry, my friend. In two months, I'll be going to Pandemonium too, just stay safe.
Mark: Be careful there. And remember, we're always here for you, don't forget to contact us through your chip.
Orion: I will. I'll see you soon.
Orion approached his friends and hugged each one warmly. Then he boarded the ship. He found his family waiting for him inside: his father Oberon, his mother Clara, his grandparents from his father's side Oscar and Mona, and his grandparents from his mother's side Vincent and Lyra.
Oberon: My son Orion, remember to represent our family in the best way. Pandemonium is full of challenges, but it's also an opportunity to develop your strength and wealth.
Clara: Take care of yourself, my son. And always be careful, those treasures are often well-protected.
Oscar: Use your intelligence and wisdom. Strength alone is not enough to overcome ancient traps.
Mona: Be brave, but don't be reckless. Some treasures are not worth risking your life for.
Vincent: Remember that we trust you, but be wary of others who seek the same treasures.
Lyra: Return to us safe, our dear grandson, and with some valuable spoils.
Orion: I will. And definitely, I'll bring back some gifts from Pandemonium.
Inside the Spaceship
Orion sat by the window, looking at the vast expanse of space. The ship was traveling at incredible speed, leaving Planet Nihari behind.
Orion (to himself): Pandemonium... what a world awaits me. I feel like I'm on the verge of a new chapter in my life, a chapter full of dangers and treasures.
Day Fifteen of the Journey
Planet Pandemonium began to appear on the horizon. It was vast and incredibly colorful, like a cosmic work of art, but Orion now saw beyond the apparent beauty; he saw the promise of buried treasures.
Orion: That's Pandemonium. The colors look completely different from here. It looks like it's hiding countless secrets.
The planet teemed with diverse colors, indicating its different terrains: vast green plains that might hide lost cities, towering rust-colored mountains that could contain ancient mines, sparkling blue lakes that might conceal submerged treasures, and sprawling golden deserts that could be the burial ground of forgotten civilizations. Orion saw enormous numbers of spaceships heading towards the planet, like a flock of migrating birds heading towards a rich food source.
Orion: It seems many are heading to Pandemonium. A planet full of treasures, of course every power wants a share for themselves. I need to be fast and smart to get my share.
Planet Pandemonium - Orion's Ninth Birthday
The ship arrived at Planet Pandemonium. Orion stood at the window, gazing at the new planet with eyes full of anticipation and excitement.
Orion (to himself, smiling): Nine years old... and the beginning of a real adventure, searching for treasures and power. Welcome, Pandemonium.
The spaceship approached a huge spaceport and landed. Millions of other ships were landing and some were leaving, like a vast market for fortune seekers. Orion stood up, turned to his family, and said goodbye. They hugged him warmly. Then Orion descended from the ship and looked at billions of young people like him, and saw them walking in one direction. At the end of this path was a colossal spatial gate with a radius reaching millions of kilometers, like an entrance to a world of endless possibilities. After hours of walking, Orion finally reached the gate and passed through it.
In Pandemonium planet reaching the size of thousands of galaxies, all the young generation from across the universe enters, each carrying different hopes and dreams, but many of them seek the same thing: power and wealth. The number of young people there may reach one followed by dozens of zeros, competing for treasures and resources. A planet full of mystery, dangers, challenges, treasures, and bloodshed. Can Orion survive in this brutal planet and achieve his goals?
