After settling into his newly purchased villa, Dev decided it was time to explore the city. He needed to get familiar with his surroundings, find the best spots for shopping, and—most importantly—figure out where the best food was.
Now, he just needed supplies. Cooking his own meals would ensure proper nutrition, but there was one issue—he didn't actually know how to cook.
(Cooking Skill (Lv1) - 10 OP Purchased)
"Nice," he grinned. "Now I won't burn my own kitchen down."
With his plans set, he grabbed his wallet and left to buy groceries.
Strolling through the city streets, he observed the people, the quirks, and the overall atmosphere. Seeing heroes casually patrolling or people using small quirks in their daily lives made it sink in deeper—this was really My Hero Academia.
As he continued walking, his feet led him to a huge, disgustingly filthy beach. He wrinkled his nose at the sight of the mountains of trash covering the shore.
"Who the hell let a landfill exist right next to the ocean?" Dev muttered, shaking his head.
Then, he spotted two familiar figures standing near the edge of the trash-covered sand. A skinny, almost skeletal man with blonde hair and a green-haired boy with nervous yet determined eyes.
His brain clicked.
"Wait... no way. That's All Might. And that's—holy crap, that's Izuku Midoriya!"
Everything made sense. The mountains of trash, the skinny All Might, and Midoriya looking like he was about to cry out of excitement.
This was Dagobah Beach.
This was where All Might would train Midoriya by making him clean up this entire filthy dump as part of his preparation for inheriting One for All.
Dev's first instinct was to run up and mess with them. But then he stopped.
Do I really want to interfere with the protagonist this early?
If he got involved now, it could completely mess with the plot, and he didn't have a full grasp of his own power yet.
"...Nah, not worth it. I need to focus on my own growth first," Dev muttered to himself, turning away.
Instead, he continued toward the supermarket, ignoring the urge to go poke fun at Midoriya's upcoming suffering.
Dev entered the store, quickly gathering everything he needed—vegetables, meat, rice, spices. His enhanced senses let him pick the freshest ingredients with ease.
Once he finished shopping, Dev returned to his villa and checked his system shop.
Since he now earned 1 OP per hour, he had extra points to spend.
He purchased Cooking Mastery (Lv.1) for 10 OP and immediately felt the knowledge flow into his brain.
As he headed back home, he activated his new Cooking Skill, feeling knowledge about chopping techniques, seasoning, and temperature control settle into his mind.
"Hell yeah, I just unlocked instant chef skills. Gordon Ramsay, watch out," Dev smirked, rolling up his sleeves as he prepared to cook dinner.
After unloading the groceries, he got to work. The knife moved like an extension of his hand, dicing onions with precision. The pan sizzled as he cooked a perfect steak, the aroma filling the villa.
Taking a bite, his eyes widened.
"Damn, I'm amazing!"
Cooking was fun. He made a mental note to level up this skill later.
After finishing his meal, he decided to finally test out one of his biggest purchases—the Time-Space Training Room.
A small metallic cube appeared in his palm. With a flick, it expanded, forming a door-sized portal swirling with silver energy.
"Alright, let's see what this baby can do!" Dev activated the training room, and instantly—
WHOOSH!
Stepping inside, Reality shifted. The air around him distorted, and the next thing he knew, he was standing in an endless white void. his vision blurred before settling into a massive infinite white space. The sheer vastness made his brain short-circuit for a moment.
Dev's eyes widened. "Whoa...."Yo, what the hell?! Is this the Hyperbolic Time Chamber's cousin?!"
The space seemed infinite in all directions. The ground felt solid beneath him, yet there were no walls, no sky, nothing but pure white stretching endlessly.
[Welcome to the Time-Space Training Room! Your personal hyperbolic training ground! Inside you have...
Infinite space for any type of training.
Infinite weight lifting for strength enhancement.
Infinite gravity adjustment for body conditioning.
Unlimited food supply for energy replenishment.
Time dilation (1:2) - One hour outside equals two inside.
Currently, it can only be used once per day. Upgrades available for OP.]
Dev's mouth dropped open.
Dev blinked. Then again....all his thoughts wwre.. This... this is insane'.
"Okay... Eve, WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL?! This is a freaking god-tier training ground!"
[Would you like a gold medal for stating the obvious?]
"...I hate you."
[Correction: You love me.]
"Shut up, I need to test this out."
Not only could he train at double the time efficiency, but he also had an infinite training space with no distractions!
"This is literally a cheat code," Dev grinned.
[Oh, you haven't even seen the best part yet. Try the Infinite Weight Lifting!]
"Wait... Infinite Weight? That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen."
[Oh, come on. You've got Kryptonian bloodline. You're telling me you're scared?]
"...Touché."
Feeling both excited and slightly nervous, Dev walked over to what looked like a floating console in the middle of the training area. There was a weight adjustment panel with numbers that seemed to go on forever.
"Let's start light," he said, pressing the weight training option. A dumbbell appeared in front of him labeled "100 kg".
He picked it up easily.
"Tch, light work."
He adjusted it again.
500 kg. Still too easy.
1 ton. Nothing.
10 tons. Barely a challenge.
His Kryptonian physique laughed at these numbers.
"...Alright, let's start strong!", Go big or go home—infinite weight mode ON!" Dev grinned, cranking the dial all the way up.
The dumbbell flickered before transforming into a glowing mass of pure energy labeled "∞ Tons".
The weight dropped into his hands.
BOOM!
The entire training room shook violently.
Dev's arms nearly snapped off.
"AAAAHHHHH—!!!"
His legs buckled instantly, and his face slammed into the ground.
The sheer force flattened him, leaving him looking like a miserable pancake.
The moment he tried to lift, his entire body screamed. His muscles tightened, bones groaned, and his feet sank into the ground like concrete.
His face contorted in pain.
[HAHAHAHA! Oh my GOD, you absolute dumbass! DID YOU JUST SET IT TO INFINITE WEIGHT?!]
"GAHHH!!! F-F***!!!"
[Language.]
"SCREW LANGUAGE, I'M ABOUT TO DIE!!"
[You activated Infinite Weight Mode, genius. Did you think it was just a fancy name?]
Dev grit his teeth. His veins bulged, his arms trembled violently, and sweat poured down his face.
"MGHHHFFFF—!!!" Dev tried to scream but was too busy being crushed into oblivion.
[Bro, I cannot believe this. Are you trying to speedrun your own funeral?!]
"HELP!!!"
Eve finally lowered the weight, and Dev gasped for air, rolling over like a broken ragdoll.
[PFFT—! Oh man, this is gonna be my entertainment for the next thousand years.]
Dev glared up at the empty sky. "I hate you."
[LMAO, no you don't.]
After several minutes of recovering, Dev adjusted the weights properly. After testing different levels, he found that his current lifting limit was 100 tons.
It wasn't Superman-tier yet, but it was a damn good starting point.
-------------------------—————----------------
After lifting weights, Dev decided to check out the Simulation Training.
[Welcome to the Simulation Training Program! Choose your mode:
1. Battle Mode – Face increasingly powerful villains!
2. Survival Mode – Endless waves of opponents!]
Dev grinned. "Oh hell yes. Let's try Battle Mode!"
[Good choice! First opponent: Low-level thug with a strength quirk.]
A humanoid figure materialized in front of him. The thug smirked, cracking his knuckles.
Dev stretched his arms. "Alright, let's see how strong I am now."
The fight began.
—30 minutes later—
Dev wiped the sweat from his brow, dozens of defeated villains scattered across the simulation battlefield.
[Okay, okay, I gotta admit... you're kinda cracked at this.]
"I was born for this, Eve."
[Sure you were, Mr. Infinite Weight Incident.]
"Shut up."
Next, he tried Survival Mode.
Wave after wave of enemies attacked him, each wave getting stronger. At first, it was easy—punching weaklings into the void. But by Wave 5, things got serious.
Villains with fire quirks, electricity quirks, and even weapon users started overwhelming him.
For the first time, Dev felt real danger.
"...Alright, this mode is kinda insane."
[Oh, NOW you realize? This is what happens when you fight people with actual skills.]
"Noted. Let's keep going!"
Wave after wave, Dev kept pushing himself, learning how to properly fight without relying only on brute strength.
By the time he finished training, he was exhausted but far more skilled than before.
After his grueling training session, Dev finally exited the Time-Space Training Room, stepping back into his villa. The sudden change from the infinite white void to the real world felt surreal.
He immediately checked the clock on the wall.
"…No way."
Only one hour had passed in the real world.
Inside the training room, he had spent two full hours lifting weights, fighting simulations, and being roasted by Eve. But outside, barely any time had moved.
Dev knew this was the case—after all, the system had explained the time dilation.
But knowing something and experiencing it firsthand were two completely different things.
"This is insane…" he muttered in disbelief.
[Oh wow, congrats genius! You finally processed the most basic function of your own training room!]
Eve's sarcastic voice rang in his head, making him twitch.
"Oi, I already believed you, okay? It's just—seeing it for myself feels different!"
[Pfft—HAHAHA! I swear, watching you react to the obvious is like watching a baby discover its own feet.]
"…"
Dev clenched his fists.
[Awww, is the big, strong Kryptonian feeling dumb?]
"Shut up, Eve."
[Nope. This is my revenge for you being stupid in the training room.]
"…"
Dev let out a long sigh, trying to ignore the endless teasing from his so-called helpful system assistant.
At this point, he was used to getting scolded by Eve. If AI could pout, he was sure she was doing it right now.
"Fine, whatever. I need a bath."
[Yeah, you reek of sweat. Please, for the love of all things holy, take care of your hygiene.]
"…I was already going to do that, you little gremlin."
After entering his luxurious bathroom, Dev stripped down and stepped into the warm shower.
As the steaming water poured over him, he finally let his body relax. The soreness from lifting 100 tons and fighting in the simulation melted away.
This body was incredible—his regeneration, stamina, and energy levels were already leagues beyond normal humans. But after today's training, he finally felt the strain.
Even with superior genes, he wasn't invincible.
"Still, I've gotten way stronger…" he muttered to himself, clenching his fist.
After his refreshing bath, Dev dried off, threw on some comfortable clothes, and sat on his bed...thoughts drifting.
To be continued-- stay tuned, next time on "Dragon Ba--shit shit tututu

It was time to check his status.
With a thought, the familiar blue holographic panel appeared before him.

Dev scanned his status, nodding in satisfaction.
His 100-ton lifting limit was a solid start, but he knew that true Kryptonians could lift millions of tons. Meaning, he still had a long way to go.
His quirk, Cosmic Absorption, was another mystery. It was passively enhancing his body, but Eve still hadn't explained its full capabilities.
"Hmm… I need to experiment more with my powers."
[That's the smartest thing you've said all day.]
"…I will uninstall you."
[You wish.]
Dev sighed. He had a long journey ahead. But for now, he was making solid progress.
Side Quest – Vigilante Work
As Dev was about to exit the training room, a new Side Quest popped up.

Dev cracked his knuckles.
"Looks like it's time for Knight Demon to make his debut."
