Chapter 10 - Ten

I got home that day and went straight to my room, my mind was still pretty stocked on what Taylor and Jane said to me, I had no idea what to do because I didn't want to lose them as friends, I didn't want Sebastian to be right, I wanted to prove him wrong.

I stripped off my uniform and walked to the bathroom to have my bath and wash off all the negativity I got in school today.

I heard the front door open and went downstairs, knowing that It was Nana. I saw her in the living room with about three groceries bag.

"Nana."

She looked up at me, a smile embracing her lips as soon as she saw me

"Amelia, how are you and how was school today?" She asked, taking a bag into the kitchen, I got down from the stairs and walked to help her with the remaining bag.

"I am fine, Nana," I say but ignored the school question.

"School? did you apologize to Taylor?' She asked me but I didn't reply to her, I emptied the fruits she had bought into the basket.

"Amelia, I am asking you a question." She snapped

I sighed and looked at her "I couldn't, the matter got worse today and I am not even sure she wants me as a friend anymore." I say and she furrowed her eyebrows

"What do you mean?" She asked, tying her hair with a band

"When I got to school today, I saw Taylor being ridiculed by David and his other friends. A crowd of students gathered around them as they humiliated her, I jumped in to help as I couldn't watch her being humiliated like that but instead, she blamed me for her predicament and said if I had listened to her then she wouldn't have been humiliated." I say

"If you had listened to her about what?" Nana asked me.

"If I had listened to her about helping Louise then they wouldn't have targeted her and that they only did that because she was or is friends with me," I tell her, moving to the zinc and rinsed an apple that she had brought from the market.

"Give her a little more time, I am sure she didn't mean that," Nana said and I smiled, I thought about all the other things she said, I wasn't sure she needed time because it looked like she already made up her mind and I had no business interfering.

"Yes, I will give her time," I tell her and continued to help her with the kitchen work.

Time passed by and it soon became dark, I finished up with dinner and took the plates to the kitchen

"Make sure those plates are squeaky clean, Amelia," Nana says and I laughed

"I always make the clean, Nana," I replied and started to wash the dishes.

A while later I was done with washing it, Nana had gone to her room because she had a migraine, she has a pill she always used to calm it down but I had no idea what it is. I put off the lights and walked upstairs, knocking on Nana's door, I opened it and saw her sleeping already so I closed the door and walked into my room.

My phone beeped and checked to see whose message it was, unfortunately, it was not a message but rather a notification. Taylor left our group chat, which could only prove one thing, she did not want to be my friend any longer.

I sighed and dropped my phone on the table, kicking off my slippers, and laid on the bed, I didn't know if I should talk to her or not, but what if she started her tantrum again because I spoke to her?

I rolled on my back, maybe I had to talk to her, after all, we have all being friends for an extremely long time and it would be a shame to just stop being friends because of something as silly as David.

I made up my mind to talk to her not considering the fact that she might shout, hit or even bite me, after all, it is Taylor.

The next day

I walked away from the house, I sighed on remembering that I had to talk to Taylor today, it isn't possible for us to just end our friendship because I helped Louise.

I hastened my footsteps so I could get to school before class and at least get to talk to her. I attempted to cross the street so I could walk by the walk side but then I stopped abruptly on seeing a black car park at my front.

I furrowed my eyebrows on seeing the car park right in front of me, the tinted glass made it impossible for me to see who it was. I wondered if the person didn't see me there so I made an attempt to walk behind the car. I felt a hand wrap around my wrist, making me stop dead in my tracks.

I slowly turned to look at who it was but Immediately a clothe covered my face, I tried to wriggle out of the person's hold but it was impossible, I couldn't breathe through the clothing on my face. I felt myself being lifted yet I tried to break free from the person's holD, both of my hands were held tightly and soon my hands were being tied tightly

"Help!' I yelled but it came as a muffled scream. I could hardly breathe as my body hit something, I heard something snap, and soon the thing I was in started to move. I had no idea what was happening, who these people were, or why I am being kidnapped.

Suddenly the car stooped, I began to hit my legs against whatever it was, trying to break free from what I was tied to or where I was. I was carried out from the car so I guessed we had arrived at wherever it was that I am supposed to be held hostage.

"Take it off." I heard a voice, it was a familiar voice.

The clothing came off my face, I couldn't see for a second as I gasped for air after being stuffed in the clothing. I slowly looked up to see five faces staring at me, I staggered back a bit as I recognized them.
