Chapter 113 - The Unrelenting "God"

Dawn arrived.

While others clocked in, MTF Nine-Tailed Fox clocked out—exhausted.

Except Luo Shu.

He'd slept six hours in SCP-049's unit, plus a nap before the midnight alert. Wide awake.

But blending in was crucial. He retreated to his dorm, plotting.

Thanks to SCP-2000, the world had relived February 17th.

Most memories were wiped—but not all.

Bearded Jack's 005-hour mobilization proved someone remembered the original timeline.

A problem.

Because Luo Shu's Encyclopedia had preserved SCP-096's enslavement, averting its breach.

Butterfly effect: No XK-class scenario.

Good? Yes.

But those who recalled the original timeline would notice the discrepancy.

In a world of anomalies, deviations meant interference.

And this deviation? Too precise.

Two Euclids + one Keter, neutralized preemptively.

Who could pull that off?

Certainly not the Foundation.

Their mandate: Secure. Contain. Protect.

"Secure" came first.

Yet here was an unaccounted powerhouse—operating outside their control.

Would the O5 Council let that slide?

Then there was the "God."

Had SCP-2000's reset erased his memories too?

If yes, why wasn't he lurking near Site-19 as before?

If no—why abandon his plan?

Luo Shu's conclusion:

The "God" remembered.

And he wasn't done.

Switching "Pursuit Over a Thousand Miles" from IR1901 to the "God," Luo Shu jolted.

The bastard was back at Site-19's surface levels.

Why?

No time to theorize.

Strike first.

But first—coordinate with IR1901.

Luo Shu activated Photo Passage, retrieving the throat mic stashed in SCP-012's unit.

"1901, location?"

"18th floor, Law Firm E," IR1901 replied.

His cover: MacDonald, Site-19's staff attorney.

"18th?!"

The "God" was on the 18th floor too.

"Act normal. He's there. I'm coming."

Luo Shu invoked "Lord of Anomalies," borrowing IR1901's perception filter.

Then—sprinted to Sublevel-1's mirror portal.

Five minutes later:

He emerged in a deserted parking corner, hunted for elevators.

Site-19's surface complex had two towers—A and B.

IR1901 was in A.

The "God" too.

But Luo Shu was in B.

The glass façade between towers was one-way mirrored—no line of sight for teleportation.

"Damn architecture."

Back to the garage.

Fifteen frantic minutes later:

He burst into MacDonald's office, gasping.

The "God" stood there, oblivious.

Luo Shu cracked his knuckles.

"Time for a combo."
