"What did you do to her, and where is Seraphina?" I asked eagerly as I held my sword tightly. He turned to look at me and examined my appearance from head to toe.
"Why are you dressed in a commoner outfit?" He said in a disgusted tone.
"Answer my questions!" I yelled at him angrily, and he fixed his gaze on Aleena.
"I paralyzed her from shoulder to her toes, she can speak and only make movement with her head." He stated dryly.
"Blink your eyes if he's saying the truth, Aleena," Aurelius called out, and I looked at Aleena, she blinked her eyes twice.
"Why would you do that to your daughter?" Alistair asked.
"She should not be with you when I have received my power from the Queen. I will show her her rightful place beside me as the crowned princess of Duskbane." He retorted nonchalantly.
