His face twisted in pain as Aleena yelled at him. It seemed he just realized what he had done to himself, but I was not caught off guard, no matter what happens, even if he repents. I will kill him.
"Did Aphra say that before she died?" He asked gently.
"Yes she did." Aleena responded.
"Oh, my Aleena" he said, pain obvious in his distorted voice. "I have wronged you."
"Oh, don't act like a crybaby now. You're still going to die." Alistair said.
"I know I'm going to die by your hands, but..Aleena? Can I have a hug? I am sorry for everything you had to go through. Please, embrace me before I leave this life." He retorted.
I was not impressed by his new act. He must have a new strategy under his sleeve. "Do not listen to him, Aleena," I whispered to her gently, but it seemed that she had fallen for his cheap trick. I had to stop her.
"Are you sure?" She asked softly.
"Yes." He replied as he opened his arms to receive her.
