"What do I do now?"
I looked at the cafeteria, where a war between students was raging. Only a few managed to squeeze in.
Even if they did, it wouldn't matter—no one would give them a chance.
And for those lucky enough to buy food, it was even worse—some people were willing to steal it right out of their hands.
If you're wondering why the school doesn't step in, well...
[Cafeteria Rules:
The school will not interfere. In fact, we encourage students to compete for food, as long as no one suffers life-threatening injuries.]
If my little brother were here, I'd rather die than let him attend this school.
I watched as everyone screamed at each other. Even a girl who looked innocent was ready to punch anyone in front of her.
My stomach growled.
I took out my wallet and checked inside.
"...Good, at least I still have money."
I looked at the chaotic crowd, took a deep breath—
"GAHHHHHH!!!"
I charged in like a fearless warrior, determined to get my food.
SMACK!
Not even three seconds later, I was sent flying straight into a trash can.
"...I hate this body."
For reference, the average physical stat for a normal adult is 5. Meanwhile, most students here had high stats due to their abilities or potential.
I, on the other hand, only had a 2...
Disappointed, I was about to give up and starve when—
"Kai? You're not getting any food?"
"Huh? Oh, it's you."
"Why do you sound disappointed to see me?"
It was Aura.
She must've just left class.
"You couldn't get food?" She glanced at the crowd.
"Well..."
She looked over at the cafeteria rule board.
"Hmm... Give me your money. I'll buy it for you."
"Huh? Seriously?" I scratched my head and handed her the money.
"Yeah. What do you want?"
"I don't know, just get something you think is good."
"Okay."
She cracked her knuckles. The sound of her bones popping made me sweat.
"Uh, why does it feel like you're about to start a fight?"
She didn't answer—just walked forward.
As she got closer, someone accidentally swung an elbow at her head.
CLANG!
"AGHHHHHHHH!!!"
A male student screamed in pain, clutching his arm.
The crowd turned to see what happened.
Aura kept walking. When she accidentally nudged a guy, he was sent flying straight into the ceiling, getting stuck there.
Another student bumped into her, and he spun 360 degrees at high speed, crashing into another student's meal.
People started paying attention.
"Such terrifying strength... She must be from Class A... No, Class S!"
She continued walking calmly, but anyone who so much as brushed against her was sent flying.
Yeah. She wasn't even attacking. She was just… way too strong.
Fear spread through the crowd. They quickly made way for her.
Within minutes, she reached the counter, paid, grabbed two meals, and walked back.
She handed me a food container.
"It's Runtusk drumstick. If I remember right, this chicken runs so fast that all its muscle is concentrated in its legs. It's really good."
"..."
I glanced at the crowd.
Everyone was glaring at me.
Uh oh.
They just realized the reason a Class S student rampaged through the cafeteria was because of me.
"Alright, see ya. I gotta head back to class." Aura waved and left.
The moment she stepped out—
"GET HIM! HE MADE US WASTE OUR PRECIOUS TIME TRYING TO GET FOOD!!!"
Shit.
I bolted for the exit. If I made it out, the cafeteria rules would no longer apply.
But how could a single Class F student escape when thousands of students with different abilities were after him?
Before I could take another step, a light rope wrapped around my leg, slamming my face into the ground.
Blood dripped from my nose.
"FOR FUCK'S SAKE, WHY DO I KEEP GETTING NOSEBLEEDS?! GIVE ME A BREAK!!"
Seeing the mob charge at me, I panicked and racked my brain.
Then, I remembered something.
I reached into my pocket and pulled out a ticket, shouting—
"FREE VIP CAFETERIA MEAL TICKET!!!"
I threw it into the air.
Instantly, everyone's focus shifted from me to the ticket.
A teacher had given it to me because he had too many. I wasn't planning to use it yet, but...
Damn it, I had to throw it away so soon. I could feel my tears welling up.
"A VIP MEAL TICKET?!"
"OUT OF THE WAY, THAT TICKET IS MINE!!!"
"GUAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
The crowd started beating the hell out of each other to get it.
"I'm free!!" I crawled toward the exit, hope shining in my eyes—
A foot stomped down on my hand.
I looked up.
It was a huge guy, but his uniform was covered in filth.
Oh.
Looks like Aura sent him flying into the garbage pile.
He wasn't interested in food anymore—only revenge.
Obviously, no one would dare go after a Class S student.
So his target... was the bastard who got her involved.
He glanced at my uniform, then sneered.
"Class F? You actually had the guts to come here?"
"Hugah!!"
He stomped the ground, and I felt a sharp pain in my stomach.
I was sent flying. I barely noticed the stone pillar rising from where I stood.
Goddamn it. I just got out of the hospital!
I winced at the pain and got a good look at his face.
...huh?
"...Wait a minute."
He looked exactly like the description of a certain character from a book.
I think he's… the first NTR villain.
"FUCK, WHY AM I MEETING HIM THIS EARLY?!"
I crashed into the ground, lying in a classic Yamcha pose.
'I need to do something...'
Then, I recalled what he did to the heroine—whoever she was.
Apparently, she was popular, but she had feelings for Kai and kept them a secret. Unfortunately, this bastard found out and blackmailed her...
Okay, I don't need to remember the rest. I could already feel my anger spreading through my body.
I grabbed a nearby dining knife.
"Heh, you're so weak I don't even need to try," he scoffed, stepping forward.
He stomped again, sending another stone pillar at me.
He looked up, expecting to see my face twisted in pain.
Instead, he saw a huge chunk of rock coming straight for his head.
CRACK!
The stone hit him square in the face, stunning him.
I grinned.
Right before I was launched, I had stabbed the dining knife into the stone pillar and used my Stuck ability.
When I got flung, my grip on the knife slowed me down.
As a result, the rock broke off, sending it flying toward him instead.
As I landed, I reached for his pants.
His waistband loosened.
His Hello Kitty underwear was revealed for all to see.
"For scum like you, who blackmail woman for free fuck, there's only one suitable punishment!"
I threw a punch at his balls with all my strength.
CRACK.
"YIAOCHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Pain spread throughout his body.
Of course, everyone was too busy fighting over the VIP ticket to hear his agonizing scream.
He curled up, hugging his crotch, tears streaming down his face.
Truly... an unbearable pain.
"You think you can look down on me? Then it's your turn now!"
Clutching my stomach, I staggered over, grabbed a trash can, and—
"If you were just some random guy, I might be scared. But assholes who don't respect women—unless she's a nympho—deserve no mercy!"
I shoved the trash can onto his head and punched it hard.
He collapsed, completely motionless.
"...Damn, my hand hurts... Shouldn't have punched so hard."
I grabbed my food and left this godforsaken cafeteria.
—Elsewhere—
"Did you see that, Irilia? He beat a Class C student!"
A short-haired girl with white hair and pink strands happily ate her burger.
"Yeah, I saw," the long-haired white-haired girl replied, sipping her tea.
They had been watching the green-haired boy ever since he talked to Aura Clint—the principal's daughter and the strongest first-year Class S student.
Defeating a Class C student was rare for a Class F.
"Think we should recruit him for your dog hunting squad? He could be a meat shield."
"No. He's still too weak."
And so, the two continued chilling in the chaotic cafeteria.
