The roiling tribulation clouds began dissipating, leaving behind trails of energy and the faint golden shimmer of tribulation dew on the land. High above the clouds, the two ancestors of the Long Clan hovered silently, their gazes fixed on Kieran.
"Adam, the boy, seems to have been injured during his tribulation." The older-looking man spoke, his voice betraying his worry.
The man who looked to be in his thirties, hands behind his back, gave a rare smile," You worry too much, John." He turned to his companion after checking Kieran's body with his divine sense. "The little one is only tired."
As if to prove him right, Kieran slowly got to his feet, as the pain slowly subsided. But his purple eyes were now a bit dull, and his vision a little blurry.
"Master, it seems that awakening an innate ability is taking a heavy toll on your body." Sindra's worried voice sounded in his mind.
Before Kieran could respond, someone appeared before him.
"Patriarch," Kieran bowed respectfully in greeting.
Draco only stared at him with a dazed expression on his face, finding it hard to believe that the tribulation was caused by Kieran.
He only snapped out of it when he felt others approaching them. "Let's go," he said, placing his hands on Kieran's shoulder and taking him away. The clan members who came to investigate found nothing but the crater, leaving them wondering about who faced that epic tribulation.
Adam and John turned their gazes in the direction of Kieran's courtyard, where Draco and Kieran had just appeared. "Our clan is truly blessed this time, John," Adam spoke, his voice filled with hope. John could only nod in response, but the hope shining in his eyes was unmistakable.
The two disappeared after looking at Kieran one last time.
In the courtyard, Draco used his divine sense to check Kieran's body, letting out a sigh of relief when he saw that there was nothing wrong.
" Get some rest, my boy, your grand-uncle will take care of everything else."
"Thank you, Patriarch," Kieran spoke in a slightly tired voice before heading to his room.
Draco left the courtyard, wondering how Kieran was able to advance so quickly, but after checking Kieran's body and confirming that the boy was not using demonic techniques, he put his worries aside.
Back in Kieran's room, Sindra inspected his body with a frown on her face.
"Master, it seems that your evolution was incomplete," Sindra spoke after circling his body a couple of times. "Your body needs a lot of spiritual chi to fully evolve, or it will be overwhelmed by the divine blood in your veins and eventually end up crippled."
Kieran shuddered slightly at the thought of experiencing a second evolution. The pain he experienced when his bloodline awakened was something he would never forget, but for him, it was better to face that pain than become a cripple.
"What can we do to solve this?" His voice was calm and determined.
Sindra felt slightly proud watching her master easily overcome his fears. "We need spiritual treasures with abundant chi energy to stimulate your divine blood and trigger an evolution."
"But for now, the easiest option is for you to eat food rich in spiritual chi since heavenly treasures are hard to come by,"

Somewhere in a town at the very center of the human territory, inside a tall and magnificent tower, in a dimly lit room, a red-haired man was thrusting into a woman. Her moans filled the room, even echoing down the halls.
Pah! Pah! Pah! Pah! Pah! Pah!
The sound of skin hitting skin filled the dimly lit room, as the man vigorously moved his hips, his thighs slapping against the woman bending over before him.
"My prince," A cloaked figure appeared before the bed, bending a knee.
"Can't talk now," the young man said dismissively, thrusting into the woman before him faster.
"It is about Miss Roulan."
The red-haired man paused, pulled his rod out of the woman, and sat at the edge of the bed.
"Speak," he commanded as the woman knelt before him, taking his glistening rod into her mouth.
"Miss Roulan went back to the Long clan ..... she is to get married in a month."
The red haired man stood up abruptly pushing the woman sucking him aside. "Who!?"
"Kieran Long." The servant answered.
The red-haired man frowned slightly, trying to recall the name. "Isn't that the waste who can't cultivate?" He asked in a slightly surprised voice.
"Yes."
The red-haired man stormed out of the room before his servant even finished talking, heading for the top floors of the magnificent tower.
Inside a hall on the upper floors of the tower, an old man with a long white beard, wearing gold alchemist's robes, was busy inspecting a pure white pill. His name was Adler Heart, the master of The Alchemy Tower.
"A 90% pure black grade pill..." He muttered to himself.
"Master!" The red-haired man stormed into the hall, interrupting the old man's thoughts.
"So, you heard?" The old man asked in a nonchalant tone. "I won't try to stop it," The old man spoke, clearly understanding the reason for the visit.
The red-haired young man paused, slightly surprised by the old man's nonchalance. "You would let your top disciple marry a waste!?" He shouted, feeling displeased by the old man's casual response.
"I can't stop the child from going back to her home." The old man turned his attention back to the pill, ignoring the young man. "The alchemy tower will not interfere in her private affairs. I suggest you do the same, Prince Caleb."
Prince Caleb left the hall fuming, his servant appearing beside him like a ghost. "We are going to Yidu state, make preparations, and send a request for a few more guards."
"Yes, Prince Caleb." The servant spoke, bowing his head.

Back at the Long Clan, Kieran had just changed into fresh clothes when Baixue and Roulan rushed into his room. They were among the group that went to find Kieran after the tribulation, only to find an empty crater.
"Why didn't you answer us?" Baixue asked in a slightly aggrieved voice.
When they found Kieran missing, they tried to connect to him through the sphere but were only met with silence.
"I'm sorry, I passed out after getting back." He lied, not wanting to worry his wives. "You should go cultivate, don't waste my Yang Chi." He continued in a playful tone, looking at Roulan.
Roulan's face quickly turned red. She gave Kieran a quick peck on the lips and disappeared into the cultivation room.
"Master, the trees bore 29 Phoenix Tear fruits." Sindra's joyful voice sounded in his mind. "And all of them are above 5000 years."
The energy from the tribulation has really improved my harvest. Kieran thought, a wide smile appearing on his face.
"Let's go take a walk in Long City," Kieran said.
"What about Roulan?" Baixue asked, she felt it was better to do things together.
"Let her break through and join us next time." He said, taking Baixue's hand and leading her out of the courtyard.
"Sindra, check the other herbs and put aside one-third of everything for us to use."
"Yes, master." Sindra excitedly replied.
Kieran's destination was the Golden Clover Auction house, located in the busy business district of Long City.
Just two hours after the two left, the skies above the Long Clan darkened.
