Chapter 10 - Catching the Adulterer

Amar didn't feel a bit of panic.

Clap Clap~

In amusement, he even clapped with his hands.

"Very good!"

"Dare to raise your sword at me?"

"I think you are forgetting who I am!"

"My name is Amar Rana, although a lot of people in my family do not like me, I am still a direct descendant. If anything happens to me, then the relationship between the Rana family and the royal family is bound to deteriorate."

"In such a struggling time, the king will blame you for losing his sole backer."

"That time the royal family may even kill you in secret to vent out their anger."

"He is right! We can't take action against him otherwise, we will face grave consequences. His status is much nobler than us."

Old Elizabern quickly got up and held Sameera's hand to make her realise the gravity of the situation.

Looking at Sameera's hands which were held by Elizabern…...Elena, who had been standing with a pair of guilty eyes, felt a tinge of pain in her heart.

No one wants their lover to be touched by someone other than them so how can Elena be indifferent to such a skinship shown so openly in front of her?

Her eyebrows furrowed as her hands slightly started shaking.

The detail was very inconspicuous and was bound to be ignored in normal scenarios, but Amar, who was standing beside her, quickly noticed such a change.

After all, from the beginning, the sole purpose of Amar to bring Elena here was to let her have emotional turmoil. His eyes were constantly checking Elena's facial expressions. There's no way he will miss such a detail.

'It seems she is finally shaken! It's time to go on full offensive!'

With a smirk, Amar yet again opened his mouth.

"My wife has already answered your questions but you still haven't answered her question about what's your relationship with this maid?"

Amar asked with a straight face, his acting was perfect, neither too heavy nor too light.

"You villain!"

"How dare you ask me such a thing? Why should I answer you?"

Sameera, whose chest was violently heaving up and down barely managed to suppress her anger because of being held back by Elizabern.

Why should she answer this vile man's question?

She didn't give a damn about this guy that appeared out of nowhere with her lover.

But the reality was different.

Amar's words were meant not to satiate Sameera's emotional turbulence but to further incite Elena's inner resolve.

And it worked like a charm.

Having heard Amar's question, Elena too regained her clarity.

'Yes, it's clear she was also cheating, so why is it like I am the only one who needs to explain?'

'She too must give an explanation about why she is acting so close to this old bitch!'

'What's so good about this old woman that my Sameera is fascinated by her?'

Elena's mind started working at lightning speed as Amar's words increased her confidence.

"Yes, he is right!"

"Sameera, I have already answered what you asked!"

"Now, you too tell me why were you acting so lovey-dovey with this old woman and even hugged her so intimately?"

"Why did you say to her that you want to grow old with her? Am I not enough?"

The more Elena spoke the more excited she got, her words started gaining momentum as her voice started reverberating in the entire cave.

Besides gaining a confidence boost from Amar's strong reply, there was another big reason for this.

The reason was none other than - The Guilt Factor.

When someone is found guilty then, to avoid the blame his/her mind subconsciously starts finding a way to shift the blame itself. This is a natural instinct shown by our body's defence mechanism.

And a similar thing was happening with Elena, to avoid herself being questioned further, to avoid the blame falling entirely on her, she too questioned Sameera back with an equivocal tone.

Hearing her beloved's loud shout, Sameera was taken aback.

Her entire perspective was shaken.

In her mind, Elena was always an obedient, understanding girlfriend who always heard her opinions, even when they had little childish quarrels before, Elena had never talked back to her like this.

Looking at the current excited state of Elena, she was sure.

'This treacherous villain is instigating my lover!'

'He is playing tricks, fucking piece of trash!'

-Sameera wanted to scold Amar, who was standing leisurely watching everything like some funny play was going on.

But Elena's glaring eyes locked ardently at her were relentlessly looking for an answer.

Sameera knew the situation was urgent, if she wasted time yelling at this boy, then Elena might think that she was trying to avoid her question.

If that happens then things will definitely go downhill.

She must give an answer but what will she speak? She was perplexed.

'Fuck this shit! Elena should have already heard everything I said to that old hag Elizabern and must have felt jealous when I hugged her.'

'But what explanation do I give her?'

Sameera's mind was completely lost in an inner struggle.

Baffled, she knew the situation was very tricky.

One wrong word and she might lose it all.

Elena, Amar, and Eliazabern, all of them looked at Sameera, who was standing motionless thinking what to reply.

But no matter what she thought, Sameera was not able to come up with a suitable explanation.

Seducing the old maid Elizabern was a very important part of her plan.

Only by seducing this maid can she enter the inner palace and get close to the Eldest Princess.

Sameera still remembers the first time she came to the castle. There, she saw the eldest Princess, Margaret in her noble look.

At just first sight, Sameera was deeply attracted by her elegant demeanour, witnessing her outstanding beauty.... there was a single thought in Sameera's mind: she must make the eldest princess hers!

"Elena I…"

"….You know how much I love you, right?"

Biting her lips, in the end, Sameera chose to play the emotional card.

Her aggrieved face showed how deeply she felt wronged, and her eyes became a little blurry to appear more in the act.

"Elena, you remember you once said you will always trust me!"

"All of this is a conspiracy….. all of this is a big trick."

But before Sameera could complete her sentence, a domineering shout interrupted her.

"Enough!"

"Don't try to play the emotional card on Elena!"

"All she asked was for a simple explanation, not all this useless talk!"

Amar reprimanded sternly.

He was already aware that such a situation might arise.

As someone who knew the plot, he was very well aware of how witty and tricky Sameera's words as the number one heroine can be.

Therefore, he must never allow Sammera to soften his offensive.

"Wait, I think I understand it."

"I know, why you can't reply!"

-Saying so, Amar directly caught the attention of everyone present.

Sameera felt deep palpitations in her heart as if a premonition that something bad was about to happen.
