Flora, ma'am. Flora said smiling.
Let's go to our room. We have things to discuss. Logan said and Hannah slowly followed him. She gulped hard as she felt her heart beat faster than a moving bullet.
Logan used the elevator to take them to the last floor which is the seventh floor where the master suite is located.
On reaching upstairs, Logan slowly pushed the door opened and they both entered in. The room was cold as the air conditioning (AC) was turned on.
Hannah suddenly felt cold as she haven't being in a cold room before. Is this how she will be living? She thought and couldn't help but chuckle lightly at her silly thought.
She made her way to sit on the sofa facing the bed while Logan took off his t-shirt wearing only a white polo top.
He went to the bedside drawer and opened it bringing out three documents.
He dropped the first documents on the table for Hannah to stare at it with a curious gaze and couldn't help but ask, what is this?
"Marriage rule you must strictly follow". He replied with an emotionless tone.
Marriage rules? ! She thought and slowly nodded.
Before you go through it,
"Listen and listen good, I only accept this marriage because of my grandpa. So don't think because I have liking towards you." He said bluntly.
No problem, I understand. She said softly.
Now pick it up and read through it. He ordered and Hannah slowly stretched her hand to take the document and opened it to go through it.
As she was reading it, her eyes fell on the five words written in bold letters which were:
1. You won't leave the estate without my permission including the mansion.
2. You will not engage in any form of romantic relationships with other men in this marriage.
3. You will not discuss personal matters between us with my family.
4. You will notify me before calling your family.
5. Don't get emotionally attached to me.
She read through with wide eyes.
She couldn't help but gulp hard. How will she follow all these rules. This is more like imprisonment mostly that rule no 1. She thought and stared at him.
Logan stared at her before speaking again,
Out of these five rules, there are three important rules you will strictly follow like the five of those rules and failure to follow these rules will result to severe punishment. He said coldly and heartlessly.
Hannah gulped.
The three most important rules you must obey,
You won't leave this mansion without my permission, You won't interact with other men as far as you are my wife and the last, you won't fall for me. Our relationship will be purely platonic. He said with an ice tone.
Hannah gulped as she couldn't believe her ears. How will she survive? All these rules were way suffocating to her. How will she work and provide for her family, most especially Elizabeth's hospital bills?
The the next moment what left her mouth made Logan stared at her with a narrowed gaze.
"I'm sorry but I can't follow the no 1 and 4 rules".
And why is that? He asked with a raised brow even though his voice hardened.
Because you can't stop me From visiting my family and calling them. They are my life. Hannah said a little weak and at the same time scared he'd get mad for sprouting such nonsense.
Logan observed her for a while before he parted his lips to talk and what he said next made Hannah froze on the spot.
"You dare break the rules and get severely punished. "
I can't just sit at home doing nothing. Hannah argued back.
Logan was kind of thrilled with the way Hannah was retorting back to him. She sure a dare devil and he will make sure to punish her for every single rule she breaks.
There is nothing for you to do that sit at home. He said blatantly.
Hannah hastily stood up and stared deep into his black eyes.
I need to work. She said firmly.
Sign the papers! He ordered and Hannah shook her head stubbornly.
Change the rules. She said and Logan scoff.
"Who the f*cking hell are you to tell me what to do?" He said this time a bit harsh making Hannah shake slightly in fear. But she didn't show any emotions not in front of this cold blooded man trying to deprive her of her freedom and the only chance to get to work so she can send money home.
Sign these damn papers ! ! ! He said heartlessly, and if you try to break even one of those rules, you will be seriously dealt with. He threatened her sending cold shivers down her spine.
NOW SIGN IT ! ! ! He ordered coldly.
Hannah heart began to race violently as she was too in a daze to argue back as she felt a sting in her eyes but managed to hold it ; she dare not cry in front of this heartless man. It's just her first time here in this mansion and yet she is been treated like this?
Why? Why did fate decided to treat her cruelly?
She took in a sharp deep breath and sat back down on the sofa, she picked up the pen and started signing the marriage rules. After signing the rules, Logan gave her the prenuptial agreement which she signed it and also signed some other documents.
After signing them,she placed the one on the table.
What else again do you want me to do? She asked staring at him with her sky blue eyes.
Logan stared at her for a long while before he exhaled slightly.
I hope you know this is your room. He said in a blank tone.
I thought I will be in a different room. She said.
And why do you so? He asked with a raised brow.
I thought all billionaires stay in a different room from their wives. She said in a bare audible voice. But Logan was able to hear her.
Nope. I don't believe in all those. Go and freshen up. He said and Hannah slowly nodded, while Logan left the room for Hannah to freshen up.
