Juno stood in Vegapunk's laboratory on Vita, his hands resting on the ancient blueprints and texts he had retrieved from the ruins of Birka. The golden schematics of Ark Maxim gleamed under the laboratory lights, but what truly fascinated him were the books and letters written in an unfamiliar script. He had hoped that Tera could translate them, but as he looked at the floating holographic display of text, he found only an error message: "No linguistic data available."
He frowned. "Tera, what do you mean? You have access to every known language on Earth."
Tera's voice echoed from the speakers. "Correct. However, this language does not exist in any recorded database."
Juno's eyes narrowed. He turned to Vegapunk. "Then what the hell is it?"
The old scientist adjusted his glasses, his expression unreadable. "That," he said, "is the language of the Ancient Moon People."
Juno's breath hitched. "Moon People?"
Vegapunk nodded. "A civilization that once thrived on the Moon, long before they set foot on Earth. They were highly advanced, particularly in genetic manipulation and bloodline research. However, their home eventually became barren, its resources depleted. In desperation, they migrated to Earth, seeking a new beginning."
Juno listened intently, the weight of history pressing down on him. "And then what happened?"
"They were not welcomed," Vegapunk continued. "At that time, there existed a great kingdom—one that ruled over the world. When the Moon People arrived, the kingdom saw them as invaders and went to war with them."
Juno's mind raced. "And they lost," he muttered.
Vegapunk nodded. "Yes. The Ancient Moon People were defeated. Their civilization was shattered, their knowledge scattered. The survivors integrated into the Sky Islanders—what we now call the Skypieans, Shandians, and Birkans."
Juno clenched his fist. "Then why is there nothing about them in history books?"
Vegapunk exhaled, leaning back. "Because the victors wrote history. The kingdom that ruled the world and defeated the Moon People was erased as well."
Juno's eyes widened. "What?"
"The war that destroyed the Ancient Moon People was not just their end—it was also the beginning of something far greater," Vegapunk explained. "I believe that war took place during the Void Century. And after that war, the World Government was born."
A heavy silence filled the room.
Juno's mind reeled as he pieced it together. "So, the World Government… they didn't just erase the Moon People's history. They erased the kingdom that defeated them too."
Vegapunk nodded. "Yes. That kingdom was powerful enough to wage war against an advanced civilization from the Moon. And yet, it was destroyed—completely wiped from history. The twenty kings who later formed the World Government must have been the ones to do it."
Juno's heart pounded. A kingdom powerful enough to rule the world, strong enough to defeat an advanced alien civilization, had vanished without a trace. How? How did twenty kings overthrow such a force? How did they manage to erase every last remnant of its existence?
He turned to the books and letters once more. The answers might be buried in those texts.
"Tera," Juno said, his voice steady, "gather all the data from these texts. Even if we can't translate them now, we will eventually."
Vegapunk gave him a knowing look. "You're planning to uncover the truth, aren't you?"
Juno smirked. "Damn right I am."
As he stared at the ancient texts, the weight of history settled on his shoulders. He had set out to establish the World Bank, to reshape the world's economy. But now, he had stumbled upon something far greater. Something that could shake the foundations of the very world itself.
And he was going to uncover it all.

What do you guys think about this revelation? The idea of an ancient Moon Race and a powerful kingdom that once ruled the world—only to be erased from history—adds a whole new layer to the Void Century. How do you think the World Government managed to rise after such a war? Did they truly defeat the kingdom, or was there something more at play? I'd love to hear your theories and ideas on how the World Government was established!
