Chapter 2 - Loop 0

September 13, 20XX 6:30 AM

Today started off normal, I fixed my bed, changed, brushed my teeth, and went to school. As my mom drove me to school, she lowered the volume on the radio. "Hey, Fuji. How do you like your school?" My mom asked in Japanese. If you couldn't already tell by my name. I am Japanese. I was born in Japan and was raised there for about 4 years before I moved to America. My parents said they wanted to start fresh, they said America was gonna be a new beginning for us. Things didn't go well in Japan. "Its pretty good." I replied. It wasn't that bad of a school. It was just your average, run of the mill, high school. Nothing interesting happens. Other than kids vaping in the bathroom, and couples making out where ever you go, nothing is irregular. It's kind of scary how normal this school is.

"How are the kids at the school?"

"They're okay, Mom."

"Are they nice?"

"I haven't really talked to anyone. So, I guess so."

"That's good."

At last we finally arrived at school. Mom stopped the car and looked straight at me. Her brown eyes gazed painfully at me. "You're getting older." she said. She sounded as if she was about to cry. I haven't even done anything. I decided to hug her and open the door to the car. "Bye, Mom. I'll see you after school." I said as I went out the door and grabbed my bag. My mom looked at me with tears in her eyes and said "I love you." I closed the door and said "Love you."

As I opened the main doors to the school. I was blasted with the strangest scent ever. Do you know what an anime convention smells like? Any sane person would say no. But if you do know. Get a life, bro, and it also smells 10x more then that. Its a mix or deodorant, perfume, and BO (Body Odor). As I passed the halls I heard the mummers of a group of girls. From their appearances, they looked to be about a year older than me. I'm 16 so they would be 17. They looked at me as the passed me and then they started laughing. What were they laughing at me about. I headed towards my locker and opened it. That's when a bunch of crumpled up papers, bananas peels, and god knows what ever else, flowed out of my lockers and falling onto the floor. In other words, some jackass put some trash in my locker. "What the hell." I groaned. One of the football players went behind me and patted my back. He was about 6'' 1' and had a huge band aid on his cheek, he had blond and curly hair and had what looks like a scar on his forehead. It looked to be in the shape of a crescent. He was wearing the same blue, long sleeved varsity jersey as some of the other kids a couple lockers down. "Nice one, newbie." He said with a grin. For those people who don't have a fully developed frontal lobe, a newbie is a person who is new to a place or an activity. I am new to this school, since I joined a couple weeks ago, thus I am a newbie. He laugh and started walking towards the other varsity jacket wearing kids. I don't even know these kids. I had 20 minutes before classes started, so I decided to clean up my locker.

The locker, which was usually a darker shade of blue, was now a deep shade of green. They must've put a whole lot of trash in my locker to make it that shade of green. They must've actually put some effort into bullying. It took me just under 10 minutes getting all of the trash out of my locker. It could've taken me less time if the nearest trash can wasn't down the freaking hall. After finishing cleaning up my locker, I headed over to the boys bathroom to wash my hands. As I started to wash my hands, I saw a group of kids open the bathroom door. It was the same blue jersey wearing, football players who dumped a bunch of shit into my locker. They were walking over to this kid sitting in the corner of the bathroom. He was wearing a grey oversized hoodie and was curled into a ball. The footballers walked over to him and grabbed him by the hood.

"Hey, pip-squeak ." One said as they pulled the kid up by the hood.

"Let go of me, Jeremy." The kid said as he looked straight at one of the bullies.

"Do you know what one of the cheerleaders told us?" Another one of the bullies asked with a grin.

The footballer with the crescent scar on his forehead, who was standing at the sink next to mine, walked over and punched the kid in the gut.

"She said that she saw you and Vivian talking." He said as he right hooked the kid. He gestured to one of the bullies to let him go. The boy fell to the ground and the scarred bully grabbed him by the neck. The scarred bully leaned in closer to the kid. "Don't fucking talk to Vivian again," he said as he pushed, by the neck, into the wall. "Or else, I'll fucking kill you." He continued as he walked towards the door. "You see, that's my future girlfriend. I know she doesn't want to be friends with you. So, fuck off." He said as he left the room. The rest of the footballers started kicking him violently. The kid, with tears in his eyes, looked at me, begging for help. I wish I did, but I didn't. I just left. That would be the biggest mistake I ever made.

After leaving the kid in the bathroom to be literally jumped by 4 other guys, I was hit with a huge wave of guilt. I should've done something. I could've stopped them. But I was already at the door of my classroom. Do I go into class, or run to the bathroom to stop the bullies. I went inside the classroom.

After school, I went to the backside of the school and texted my mom that school ended. The back of the school was a shitty as it was inside. It was light brown, and had moss growing on the walls. It seemed like no one has been here in a while, anyone other than me. the Being on the edge of the town, there was nothing else around the school other than a Mexican restaurant and a local car dealership. My mom picks me up here since the front of the school is flooding with cars. I live about 15 minutes away from the school, so I decided to wait until my mom picked me up. It has been about 30 minutes since school has ended, I haven't been picked up yet nor has my mom texted me back. She hasn't even read my text yet. That's odd. She's always on her phone, we could be anywhere in the world and her eyes would still be glued to her phone. I decided to go back inside the school and use the bathroom.

As I began to wash my hands, I heard the door open and close. I assumed it was the janitor or someone, so I didn't mind it. Suddenly I heard a loud bang. Just then I felt a sharp burning pain in my stomach. Aw man, I thought as I leaned on the bathroom wall clutching my stomach. I didn't think I would go out like this. I fell onto my side, still clutching my stomach. I had been shot in the liver. Its like the person who shot me knew where to shoot me. If you shoot the liver, you would cause massive internal bleeding, thus the person shot would bleed out and die. As my vision started to fade, I saw a figure. It was probably the person who shot me. I tried to look up, but it was no use. I was losing control of my own body. I was dying. The mysterious figure kicked my head so I facing upwards. I tried to move my arm, but it was no use. It was getting warm. So this is what it feels like to die, I thought as my vision started to get dark. I'm getting tired... I said as my vision went to black. Suddenly a chime went off in my head. Its like a bell chime. It sounded familiar, like I have heard it before...

As I opened my eyes, my vision started to clear again. The first thing I saw was my roof. The roof of my bedroom. I sat up and gained felt a vague sense of Deja vu. I felt like I have done this before. I looked to my left and saw an alarm clock. It read September 13, 20XX. 6:30 am.
