"Big bro!" Manon screamed with excitement as she rushed and pulled him into a tight hug .
"why are you here?"
Big bro ? Everyone looked at the person, full of doubts.
Steven looked at his precious little sister, and raised his hand to ruffle her hair as always but stopped mid way afraid of messing up her hair because it's her wedding .
" So much for being your big brother ,you didn't even invite me to your own wedding,had it been I was not here on time you would have been bullied " Steven said as he frowned to show his discomfort
"I'm sorry big bro , I will explain everything to you later thanks for coming it means so much to me " Manon said as she drew him closer to herself while staring daggers to Adrian and his companions.
"Make them vanish from this wedding venue" Steven gave out his order , and his guards that has been outside didn't waste time to push Adrian and his companions outside , it was much easier since they were still caught up with the aura of the unknown man that got into the room.
Manon and Steven were catching up really well when a maid walked in to inform Manon that she needs to head out for the wedding.
Walking to the venue, Manon could clearly hear everyone gossiping about how she didn't allow any of her family member to attend her wedding, but she couldn't care less , this wedding was just a facade to make Louis family believe in their act nothing more .
Manon was led down the aisle by Steven since he was present.
Flower petals drifted down from the sky and fell on the two of them as they walked down the aisle.
Looking at the person in front of him, Louis's eyes flashed with confusion, but this was not the time to ask questions. He reached out his hand, waiting for the man to hand Manon over to him.
Steven scanned Louis from head to toe, then lowered his head and said to Manon, " gummy bear, if he treats you badly, you must divorce him. Don't ever let yourself be wronged, okay?" His voice was not low, and the guests below also heard it and started to discuss it.
Seeing this, Manon quickly said,"Don't worry, Big brother, he won't let me be wronged."
After this small episode, the wedding proceeded smoothly. After walking down the red carpet, Louis asked his assistant to investigate Steven's identity. Meanwhile, Manon brought Steven to meet the old Malcolm and introduced them to each other.
Before Manon will know it , it was already late and her brother had to leave for the airport to avoid missing his plane.
"Take care of yourself here, and that boy , don't feel sorry for him. Just order him around when you need to," steven patted Manon's head before leaving
Old Malcolm didn't miss the scene and he couldn't help to think that this his grand daughter in law isn't just simple as she looks.
"Mr. Malcolm, this Steven's identity..." He paused, hesitating a bit. "His identity seems to be very unusual. I can't find anything here, the only thing I found is that his address is overseas."
Hearing his assistant words, Louis brow furrowed suddenly. "I see."
After hanging up the phone, Louis leaned his elbow on the table and rubbed his eyes with his fingertips. He stopped and slowly stood up and walked downstairs.
As soon as he reached the bottom of the stairs, he saw her sitting on the sofa smoking. A hint of displeasure flashed across his eyebrows. Louis strode over and snatched the cigarette from her lips, tossing it into the ashtray.
"No smoking, how many times have I told you?" He stood in front of Manon, looking down at her.
Manon couldn't help but feel like a high school girl caught by her principal while doing something bad .
But Manon was able to detect he wanted to ask her something so she went directly to the point
"Mr Louis do you have anything you want to talk 5o me about? Manon asked
"He is my big brother" Manon answered.
"Manon don't try to play dumb with me , you know what I mean when I asked you who he was " Louis said already getting annoyed but he was still trying to keep his cool, he doesn't even know why he is so worked up by a guy that walked her down the aisle is it because he is handsome? Or was it jealousy? How far is he attached to this little girl beside him for him to be feeling like this?
"Well Mr Louis I don't know what you're talking about honestly, if you won't specify then I th6i should go to bed" Manon said as she got up to go and sleep but Louis words stopped her half way.
"Why are you defending him, is he your lover ?
"Louis is this how you see me ? Manon asked as she turned around so that Louis will be able to see her , and Louis heart thugged the moment he saw the hurt look on her face , was he right by judging her .
" Why will you think about someone you just met today like that,... You know what I'm not going to explain anything to you deal with that yourself "Manon said as she tried to leave but Louis jealousy was instead increasing especially when she was not trying to clarify him if anything ...
Before she take a second step her wrist was grabbed, and her body was pulled back onto the sofa. Manon was angry and glared at Louis , but before she could question him, he kissed her passionately. He didn't want to hear any more words from her defending that man .
Manon struggled to push Louis away, "Mmm, let me go...!" Louis eyes were burning with a fiery light, and he held both of Manon's wrists in one hand. He knelt beside her and lifted her hands above her head. Looking down at her body, whose clothes were slightly disheveled, Louis eyes grew darker.
Manon couldn't push Louis away, and when she tried to kick him, he used his leg to suppress her completely. Louis kissed her deeply, and his free hand slowly slipped under her clothes making Manon to continued to struggle with full force but she was no match for him.
"Louis ! What's gotten into you? Let me go! Otherwise, I won't let you off!" Manon's heart was in chaos, but she didn't show it on her face. She watched as Louis hand slowly slipped inside her clothes, and suddenly, she felt hopeless. She stopped struggling and lay on the sofa like a dead fish, letting Louis do whatever he wanted.
Suddenly, the man on top of her stopped moving. Louis lifted himself up and looked at the defeated Manon beneath him. He was filled with regret.
"What am I doing? Damn it!" Louis punched the the sofa and stood up from her body in silence, walking straight into the bathroom.
Manon lay on the sofa and, seeing him leave, quickly sat up and straightened her clothes before walking briskly back to her own room.
The next morning Manon was waken up by the sunlight that crept through her window blinds to her face ,after washing she went down for breakfast and her and Louis eyes locked with each other but Louis didn't react , manon could not help but curse him in her mind for what he did to her last night .
Since she got married, she had given herself two days off , while she was leisurely spending her time at home, she rec
eived a call from Louis grandpa inviting them for dinner...
