"How could he do this to me?" Sienna's voice shook with a mix of disbelief and fury as she paced back and forth across her bedroom. "How could he marry her?"
Sienna's hands trembled with rage as she stood in the middle of her lavishly decorated bedroom, her breathing uneven. The moment she had learned that Killian had married, the news had hit her like a slap across the face. She had stormed back to her room, slamming the door behind her with such force that the walls seemed to tremble in response.
"I cannot believe this, "Sienna fumed pacing back and forth in her bedroom. "Killian Hayes married to some nobody." She spat the last word like it was a poison.
Her best friend, Ava, sat perched on the edge of the bed, watching her with a calm yet concerned expression. "Sienna, you knew you left him first. You knew he wasn't going to wait forever."
"No," Sienna snapped, whirling around to face her. "I didn't know this. I only left temporary,I thought he wouldn't marry anyone else! He was mine." Her voice broke, but she quickly regained control, the fire in her eyes burning hotter. "And now, just like that, he's married her? That little—"
Ava raised her hand, cutting her off. "You need to calm down, Sienna. I get it. You're hurt. But losing it like this won't help anything."
Sienna's eyes narrowed, her lips curled into a sneer. "Calm down? You want me to calm down? I will never calm down, not when it comes to Killian. He is mine, Ava. He always has been, and I'm not letting her take him away from me."
Ava sighed and shook her head. "You've said that for years, and look where it's gotten you. You've let him slip away more times than I can count."
"I don't care," Sienna hissed, her hands balled into fists. "I'll make him regret this. I'll make sure he knows who the real woman for him is."
Ava's lips curled into a smirk ."And what did you plan to do about it?"
Sienna's eyes gleamed with dangerous intent."I'll remind him of what we had.Of what we could still have. This marriage of his?Is It's a business deal,a contract.I know Killian and I know his heart. It belongs to me."
Without another word, Sienna turned sharply and stormed towards the dresser, grabbing her phone .Her fingers trembling slightly, whether from anger or something deeper, she wasn't sure. She scrolled down till she found his number, her thumb hovering over the call button.A wicked smile touched her lips as she pressed it.
"Let's see how strong his marriage is really is."

At the Carter mansion, Celeste Hayes stormed into her brother's study, her eyes blazing. She never liked Sienna, and now she had a fresh reason to despise her. She flopped into the armchair across from Killian's desk, crossing her legs as she observed him coolly.
"I heard Sienna is back, and you went running to her the moment Elara left the party," she said, her voice laced with disdain.
Killian didn't bother looking up from his whiskey glass. "And?"
Celeste scoffed. "And you're a damn fool, Killian."You are very foolish, you are so dumb, She spat out in disdain.
Killian sighed, rubbing his temple. "If you're here to lecture me, save your breath,I don't need it."
"No, I'm here to remind you what a disaster Sienna was for you." Celeste leaned forward, her expression dark. "I hated her from the moment I met her. She's arrogant, manipulative, and worse, she left you like you were disposable."
Killian's jaw tightened. "She didn't 'leave' me. She made a choice, mind what you said."
"A selfish choice." Celeste's voice sharpened. "And now she's crawling back, and like an idiot, you're giving her the time of day?"
Killian exhaled sharply. "I haven't given her anything."
Celeste wasn't convinced. "She's a parasite, Killian. And if you're stupid enough to let her back into your life, then you deserve everything that happens next."
Killian finally looked up, eyes cold. "You don't get to dictate my choices, Celeste."
"No, but I do get to warn you," she shot back. "She'll destroy you again. And you'll let her."
Killian opened his mouth to retort, but before he could, his phone buzzed against the desk. He glanced at the screen, and Celeste followed his gaze.
Sienna.
Celeste groaned. "Of course."
Killian hesitated for half a second before he picked up the call. "Sienna."
On the other end, Sienna's voice was smooth, almost playful. "Killian, darling. We need to talk."
Celeste scoffed, standing up. "Don't be an idiot, Killian."
But he was already reaching for his coat, heading for the door.

Elara stood at the top of the staircase, her breath caught in her throat. She had heard everything. Celeste's sharp words, Killian's silence, and now, his choice.
He was going to see Sienna.
A cold weight settled in her chest, a dull ache that she refused to acknowledge. She had told herself not to expect anything from him. Not kindness. Not loyalty. And yet, hearing him leave for another woman sent a sharp pain through her heart.
She pressed a hand to her chest, breathing deeply. It didn't matter. It couldn't matter.
Because she was just a pawn.
And pawns never won the game.
Elara swallowed hard, forcing herself to step away from the staircase. She wouldn't let this affect her—at least, that's what she told herself. But as she turned to walk away, the weight in her chest only seems to grew heavier.
The echoes of Killian's footsteps faded, leaving behind an unbearable silence. She clenched her fists. If this was how he wanted to play the game, then so be it.
A quiet voice interrupted her thoughts.
"I guess you heard everything, didn't you?"
Elara turned, meeting Celeste's knowing gaze.
Elara's voice was steady, but her eyes betrayed her pain. "It doesn't matter."
