After all the school activities, leon reached home. His house is in the corner of the city, where he lives peaceful with his sister. He opens the door and sees a girl looking around thirteen years old with a cute face. Her eyes were brown and hairs were black, in colour.
"I'm home, Nina", said leon with a smile.
"Welcome home, brother", said Nina as she smiles back at leon.
Sigh "I'm very hungry, what's for dinner?".
"It's Curry today".
"CURRY!" Said with pure hunger.
They started eating, Silence covers everything until Nina breaks it,
"Brother, how's your school going?"
"Its going very fun but I need for thrill and battles!"
Nina chuckles "You are cheerful as always".
The following day, all the first year students were gathered in the assembly hall as per the order of Student Council. Then the Student Council President Alexia comes on the stage,
"As you all are here, I'm going to share something important to all of you".
The whispering between students started going loud after what Alexia said.
"Be quiet all of you and listen to me".
All students stopped talking.
"Thanks for your cooperation, you all are here because I have something important to tell you....and it is Trails".
"Trails?!".
"What the hell is Trails?".
"Why asking me? I don't know myself".
"I can understand your confusion, because it is a long forgotten tradition of EHHS." Said Alexia with Neutral Expression. "Trails are used long ago to force out the hidden abilities of the first year students, so that their chance of suviving all those next years will increase."
All the students started whispering again with each other. They all were excited for this Trails thing as it can awaken their hidden powers, leon was not much interested in this Trails but there was one thing that he didn't understand. Why the hell they are continuing a long forgotten tradition? Hmm...quite suspicious but I don't care if it will be fun. A hand placed in his shoulder—and as he looks back, he sees Hiroshi and Kami.
"Leon you heard? These Trails thing sounds fun and if forcing out hidden powers will be true—then it is worth trying!", Hiroshi was looking thrilled but he noticed leon's confused face so he asked him "what are you concerned about?" Leon snapped from his thoughts,"Me? Concern? No-no, I was just wondering—what exactly these Trails thing are?" Tried to change the topic.
"Your Teacher will explain all further details—now you all can go in your classes." Alexia in her usual icy attitude.
In Classroom, Teacher said "As Alexia already explained that Trails are announced this year. So—I will guide you all for your success in these Trails." ..Pause.. "There are three levels in these Trails—Labyrinth, Blood Hunt and The War. You all must pass otherwise...pause...you will be expelled."
"What?! This is Bullshit?!"
"So what's the reason for our hardwork to pass all the Exams?! It all was waste?!"
"This is scam!"
Teacher calms everyone down and gives them further details "We can't do anything for you other than guiding you. So—calm down and listen."... pause..."First level—labyrinth is a large dungeon where you have to face ghost and monsters. Your goal is to survive and clear that labyrinth, the time limit is 24 hours." Teacher further explains "Second Level—Blood hunt. A battle royale between squads where the goal is to "capture" opponents by immobilizing them. Time limit is 1 hour."
Pause,
"The Third Level—War...You will be sent in a battlefield full of Corrupt Entities, where you must survive five nights." Teacher sigh "And some important details—you have to finish Trails with your squad and losing means getting expelled." I don't know what the hell is chef thinking, why continuing this deadly game?!
"This is wrong?!"
"Getting Expelled?!"
"I'm doomed!"
That cheerful Leon's mouth is shut close like he is in a deep meditation. Even the teacher is displeased with this trial idea, but overthinking here will not give any outcome. I can't say anything until i experience trails myself—these trails are an opportunity for me to make close bonds with my squad.
Then lunch bell rings,
"Hey Leon, hurry up let's go. Its lunch time!" Hiroshi called him.
"I'm coming wait!"
I think I should leave these Trails thing—anyway if anything happens so we will handle it because now I have...
Leon,Hiroshi and Kami goes together, talking about things and laughing together.
